Remarks

Overall, Its a good college on the basis of its academics, events, sports activities, etc.

Entrance Preview

This college is very near to my home and it has a good reputation among colleges of Delhi University. I preferred this college as it offered mathematics hons and it was one of my favorite colleges. Also, It has a good academic record. This college was known for proper studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is quite good and interesting which is teaching us the deep and deeper boundaries of mathematics. Basically, Mathematics is all about interest, passion and Unending hard work. This course offers us two other subjects other than mathematics which help us to learn other subjects too.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college offers internships but its limited to some courses only that are Bachelor of management studies and computer science.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placement cell is quite active but it still provides a limited number of placements and opportunities for students to enhance their skills and turn their theoretical knowledge into real life experience. I think the placement cell should work for all courses, not for limited courses.

College Events

3

The events celebrated in my college are:- 1. Freshers party 2. Diwali Mela 3. Tryst-the annual cultural fest 4. Spic macay qawaali event 5. Departmental fests of each department in even semesters. 6.farewell 7. One day events by the management department and commerce department.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. Its 10000 per year including examination fees of both semesters which is affordable to every student. The fees are to be paid at the start of every year by the online fee portal of a website of Keshav Mahavidyalaya. All types of payment modes are accepted on the portal.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, there was no good scholarship or a loan facility that was offered by the college in the entire two years.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is all about fun, enjoyment and learning the most important lessons of the term called life. The gender ratio is approximately equal in this college. There are sports activities, I am a part of the official chess team of the college and it feels so good to go for tournaments.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facilities are very good and the warden is very kind and friendly woman. The food of the mess is to be okay. It's not that delicious. Actually, The week food schedule is fixed and its repeated every time. So, Mess food is not up to the upper level.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni networks of this college are quite weak. The senior students are just limited to themselves and their classes.

Exam Structure

The labs are held twice in a week of 4 hours each time and it makes our days hectic. The exams are held two times in a year consisting of odd and even semester in Nov-Dec and May-June. Practical exams are also held before the exams and it carries much weight in the total marks.

Admission

My actual preference was to opt for economics honors but I couldn't get it so I opted for maths hons. I got admission here in maths hons. in the first cut off that was 94%.the date was 19 June and It took 5 hours to get admission procedure complete. Then, I was said to pay the fee of the first year within 24 hours.

Faculty

3

The faculty of the college is quite good. Teachers are fully dedicated to their duty. The faculty is fully qualified and interested in pure mathematics. Teachers are filled with unending love with mathematics. It's fun to be around with such amazing personalities.

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Students are eligible for paid internships early in their college tenure, with placements following later. Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
