Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Curriculum includes best faculty for history as I am interested in history which forces me to take this course also i got ample ammount of time to orepare for upsc. Curriculum prepares me well for further studies as it provides me best knowledge and faculty for my subjects history and political science Course curriculum is good but some faculty members are little boring so this i a improvement which is needed Exams are overall easy and cometely based on previous year 6 semester examination will held

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees in each college of delhi university varies according to college i completed my Ba programme from shaheed bhagat singh college where i am paying approx 10000 in first year 12000 in second year 14000 in third year. Its a tution fees. Second you have to pay admission fees during admission time which is approx 3000. At last you have to pay exam fees for each semester exam. If you have practical subject like geography then your exam fees would be approx 700-800 but if you do not have practical subject then you have to oay only 500-550 as a exam fees. So mainly 3 fees you have to pay admission fees , tution fees, exam fees. If you are taking computer as your subject then you have to pay lab fees which is minimal approx 2000

Campus Life

5

Fest seasons are literally cool in delhi university but in sbse there is strictness hence less fests occur They are held in march-april month. Library is literally good in sbse where air cinditioner is available overall book required are available but if you need some another book which is nit available there js option you will give name of that book and after 2-3 days it will be available in library Smart classes are bailable where teacher uses beat methods to teach Ground is very good . Sbse provides beat training in cricket also daily basis sports activites are hled in college college level tournaments also geld coach is also very good for different sports Yes numerous societies and clubs ate available and its imapct was also very good like i was in debating society which make me confident for public skepaking also social clubs etc. available

Admission

I also apply fot mtoilal nehrru Atma ram sanatan dharam and also BHUbut i choose this because this college is good as compared to these. Reasons- Good infrastructure Regular class Best faculty Principal is strict hence no indiscipline occurs in campus NO , I did not face rejection even i cleared entrance of BHU but i choose this college due to above mentioned reasons Admission is simple you have to apply form online then you have to give a exam name cuet according to your score in cuet you will get college for example in sbse 682 cutoff was for history hons Admission prcess is easy but you have to clear cuet examination

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is overall good sbse(DU) . Proper classes are held everyday. Faculty to student ratio is approx 1 teacher has to manage approx 40-50 student in a class. Teachers are friendly. Shamseed sir for history is a good teacher shalu mam for hindi is also good saurabh sir for polity also good all they are cooperative and best teachers There is bo faculty member whom i not liked Ba programme is a 3 year structured course with 6 semester examination exam is easy to moderate and totally based on previous year there is a minimal chance you will fail. Periodic tests ( class test) are also very easy. Course curriculum is relevant and best option if you want to prepare for upsc

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
