What Students Say

Likes

Campus is beautiful, lush green, it's clean as well
Teachers are great! Helpful too. You don't feel like you're being missed out upon
Practicality is great as well. It's like you're in an IIT.

Dislikes

Fee structure obviously for once because it's very expensive
Placements are limited for NON CSE branches.
Extra curricular infrastructure is a little bad

Course Curriculum Overview

course curriculum is free, you don't feel like you're under pressure, lectures are recorded you're free to choose, attendance has no issues either. Teachers provide a test analysis after results or exam days as well.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 2000000 per year

Placement Experience

BITS provides internships in Birla, that's really great, a lot of students get placed but only from CSE. Other branches don't have good placements in our college. CSE is preffered, 30 LPA is average and the packages tops 60 LPA every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

tuition fee is around 2L approx, per year, and along with that they take like development fee, caution fee, etc. so 4 lakhs of expenditure every year. Not very affordable but can't help it. SC/ST have a 10-20% deduction in fees based on their marks. Yes scholarships also provided to toppers as well as loan assistance.

Campus Life

We have lots of amenities like tennis, photography, movie making club, I am a part of these clubs. I also was a part of this drone club in which we made drones and attached cameras to it as well. I also play basketball a lot. Student life is great

Hostel Facilities

We have good meals, 4 times a day. No one realy goes to eat the snacks in the evening, Food Menu changes everyday, it's all healthy food, It does seem hygienic but it's just like the condition of all the colleges in our country.

Hostel Fee: INR 61300 per year

Admission

I gave JEE, i was getting CSE in NIT Trichy but then decided to take BITS because of the crowd, college life, I also gave IIIT exams called UGEEE and VIT, MIT, SRM, and other private engg college examinations. I got accepted everywhere. For BITS, you need to give BITSAT exam.

Faculty

Teachers are amazing, they take our doubts clearly, I love our maths teacher as well. They have such an expanded knowledge base, its the best thing about the uni. Exams are pretty moderate. About 10% students struggle in a few subjects but you can retake the exam.

My Happy Place!

Likes

There are all kinds of clubs possible for extracurricular.
The teachers and staff are supportive at all times.
Canteen food is both tasty and hygienic.

Dislikes

No one apart from sports students are allowed to use the sports equipment. We have to carry and bring our own balls and everything in that case.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always had interest in Chemistry and the science behind the bonds. It has always fascinated me. The curriculum is very much similar to what we prepare for the competitive exams like NET or GATE, just the exam pattern is different. We mostly study for subjective university exam. The frequency and timing of exams is perfect, just how it should be. The difficulty level is moderate too.

The Best College

Placement Experience:

The college provides placement opportunities through campus recruitment drives, where students can apply for jobs in different companies. Placement opportunities depend on students' skills, academic performance, and the requirements of employers. The college also helps students develop their communication skills and prepare for interviews. After completing the course, students can explore job opportunities, pursue higher studies, or prepare for competitive examinations.

Every time l injoy my college life

Likes

I like my college because it has a friendly environment and helpful teachers. The classrooms are clean, and the library is useful for studying. I enjoy spending time with my friends. My college provides good education and encourages students to part

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as very good. It covers important topics and provides useful theoretical and practical knowledge. The syllabus is relevant to our field of study and helps develop our skills. However, including more practical sessions and industry-related topics would make the curriculum even better.

Remarks:

College management Director was corrupted person he was the one who charged extra examination fees from student. Mark sheet of school and other important document has been kept by them till final year so that even if student wants to change the college they cannot.

BITS Pilani delivers ; provided the fees fits your budget

The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . From 2023 there have been 2 attemtps of the same ,earlier there used to be only one .However one thing to keep in mind is the BITSAT exams occur right alongside the JEE Advanced examinations as well the results .I personally gave my bitsat the day my advanced results were announced...Read More

I got admission into IIT Dhanbad through JEE Advance exam but chose to go to Bits Pilani because i believe that it has a better brand value and prestige. For getting admission in bits, you need to clear the Bitsat exam, where you are tested on your knowledge of high school level physics, chemistry, maths. And it also includes english and logical resoning questions....Read More

Honest BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) Review

I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy. The cutoff for top branches is usually 340+. The entire process is smooth and conducted online....Read More

BITS Pilani- It's Magic!!!

I had applied for BIT Mesra, Ranchi, CS through JOSSA. As BITS Pilani provides much more opportunities than it and also the peer group is competitive and better, so I decided to join BITS Pilani, CS. There is no quota for admission, all admissions are taken only through BITSAT. Cutoff for CS on that year ie. 2019 was around 383. During counseling, a general interview was taken and an overview was given about the stream....Read More
