Course Curriculum Overview

5

The reason I choose Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering with the specialisation of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning is that the scope of job opportunities and the increasing demand for this specific curse made me to choose this course and till now the curriculum that I am learning Shere is good because being in the first semester I actually felt good about the way they teach inside the campus in which I had the experience in several labs that even be not get chances to get in a normal college, the examination frequency are not bad because the whole semester will be around 5 to 6 months so in the per second month you will have your CIA 1 and CIA 2 on your 3rd month and have the end sem by the end of the month of the semester.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are several companies and organisations that provide internships to the students present inside the universities the first example is corrizo, who provided internships like in several courses not just specify to a single one you had a facility to choose two course plan 3 course plan or 5 force plan

Placement Experience

4

Christ University actually have a good placements and you will get a varieties of companies coming up to have the placements and it is ensured by Christ University that minimum 90% of the candidates who apply for placements get inside the placement and the average package is actually not bad so the lowest package paid is about 40000 per month and the maximum ranged up to 36 lakh per year and since for the year 2024 Christ University is near franking on engineering was better around 300 companies are ready to provide the placements to the students studying in Christ University, and my plan after getting the degree is first try the placements and if I am not getting please then I prefer to do masters in my course and then continue my carreer

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees you have to pay for btech-CSE( AI and ML ) is 245000 snd you have to pay 2000 rupees for the entrance examm( registration fees ) and like if you prefer for hostel you have to pay a fee of 55000 per year and 7000 for the laundry per year.

Campus Life

5

The best thing about Christ is obviously the events and the cultural experience you get inside the university you will have bundles of events happening throughout the year which keeps you engage in several activities and a stressbusters for the whole year an enjoy your hole University life and there are a lot and lot of organisations and clubs inside Christ University starting from the Student welfare organisation where there are different branches to enhance your skills in either media or language for examples the literature clubs we have and then you have Association of Christian Christites to promote your spiritual development and then you have Centre for social action to promote your social aspects of life through which you get opportunities to develop yourself socially and then you have a lot other club which are department specific so where you work for the department and then you have the student Council to improve your skills on leadership

Hostel Facilities

4

To tell about the hostel facilities for the boys we have to options either to stay inside the campus or outside the campus so inside the campus it is the Devadan hall, the fee structure for this hostel inside the campus is 55000 per year and 7000 for the laundry and to specify food facility is not included under this 55000 and for girls they have the hostel facility outside the campus under the surveillance of the sisters present in the Christ University name the benedics which is around 3 km away from the campus, to tell about the curfew of the hostel inside the campus for boys is night 9:30 p.m. and the last bus leaving from the campus to the hostel outside the campus is 8:30 p.m. and the bus facilities provided for the students who stay in the hostel that is outside the campus is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. To tell about the meal quality and the menu its actually diverse you get all type of foods releasing from South Indian to the north Indian so food is not actually an issue and the quality is quite good the thing is you have the option either to pay as whole for a month and take the food or you can just pay when you want to have a food in any canteen present inside the University

Admission

Christ University is the first college I applied for and I got selected because it had be criteria of 75% marks in Mathematics Physics and Chemistry in grade 12 and good aggregate marks in great 10 so under this category I was selected I was eligible to write the entrance exam then the process is like first you will write your entrance exam after which if you are selected you will be qualified for the next round in which you have to come to the campus where still assessment that is a topic will be given and how to write an short essay and the next round is your interview round so where they test your subject knowledge and stuffs and then in between the interview you will have your micro presentation that is on the spot you will be given a topic and you will be given a time limit of 30 seconds to prepare and you have to presence Mini presentation in about 120 seconds to test your language and your presence of mind

Faculty

5

The faculty is you get here are quite experience not only just working experience in Christ some times of your faculty is here I have experience event in IIT and also you can easily approach the faculty without any mastishk and they are still supportive sources in all aspects and to tell about the mid sem exams and the CIA are easy and the endsems is quite difficult and the examination system is like you have 3 CIA and 1 end sem. Cia one will be google form, Cia 2 is your mid sem where you have your first theory exam, cia 3 iz about presentations and projects and end sems is the whole syllabus test

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.
