The college is overall good. But one bad remark of the college that I can say is that it does not conduct elections properly.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure will be available on the website of du #www.du.ac.in. The zoology honors degree course consists of six semesters. There will be exams every semester. Marks are calculated on the basis of CGP. Maximum marks one can obtain is 10 cgpa. This course has 2 core subjects, AECC and a GE in the first semester.
Placement Experience
The placement in DRC is excellent. Placements are most common in the Commerce Department. Also, the placement cell is very active here
College Events
There are many events celebrated in this college. Starting from freshers day to farewell day. Also, all the events are celebrated very well. freshers day, departmental fests, college fests, fests of societies, fests of cells and farewells. There will be many events organized by the cells and societies like workshops etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is really cheap when compared to other colleges. Fee Payment is done yearly. My fee for the first year is 17500 rupees for a zoology honors degree. This is exclusive of other expenses. Other expenses include only for events like freshers, farewell, teachers day, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not availed any scholarships. But there are many scholarships for OBC and Economically weaker sections.
Campus Life
The campus life is really good. As this is a women's college, we can explore the college to its full extent. The canteen area, Nescafe area is so perfect place to be with friends. other than academic studies, it also provides us a platform to showcase our talent.
Alumni/Alumna
I'm not well known about the alumni. But I can assure you one thing that the senior students are so so lovely and supportive.
Admission
I got admitted to DRC by normal cut off procedures. The first cut off of DU was released on 28th of June. The cut off for zoology in DRC was 92 percentage. The admission procedure is so simple. Print outs of DU admission form and also the college admission form is necessary along with 10th mark sheet,12th mark sheet, caste certificate, and other necessary documents.
Faculty
The college faculty is really very nice. All the faculty members are really extraordinary with good skills. They are really supportive and lively. The faculty of the zoology department is excellent. I can say this because I'm a zoology student. The faculties are well known.
