Likes

Beauty of college is good and provides a suitable environment
Natural environment makes me feel more relaxed
We can study in ground and there are many lawns too

Dislikes

Fee structure is a bit high as compared to other colleges of DU
Lack of options in AEC sndSEC (optional subjects)
Compulsion for BAP students to study hindi in their GEC and AEC as well, even for foreigners

Course Curriculum Overview

Its good, I'll say that coursrs are a bit pricy but worth it...but if you can afford so you can go for it...????college is noce and infrastructure is too good you'll see a heritage building and new buildings as well..

Internships Opportunities

Till now I haven't got any internship opportunities as i am in a forst semester now so cant tell about this...its important for you to make yourself ipen and socialise as more as you can with teachers and students too...it will help you throughout your college life..participate in competition and functions as volunteer and participants too

Fees and Financial Aid

College is nice, beautiful amd the teaching staff is also very nice to students...there is a mantained discipline and 75 percent criteria to be maintained by students that's a good thing tooo. I find a difference after coming into this college. INDRAPRASTHA COLLEGE FOR WOMEN. As we get more chances and have a wider scope for our future after coming into DU. So go for it...

Campus Life

My campus life is very nice till now as you will make friends and will get used to it then you'll call your friends for studying in ground in winters , in library in aummers and all there is a lot of space in college and it provides a good environment for a student to atudy.. you'll see a lit of upsc aspirants there studing in library..

Admission

I chose this college over others because first of all because of cuet the options were very limited but i got knew that the college is good studies and all the things are good here so that's why.and this is a women college and its safe in all conditions there is nothing at all like so the girls are safe and can wear anything they want..no issues

Faculty

The faculty's relation with students is cooperative and good and no one feels shy in front pf faculties to show up their problem..I liked the faculty pf geography as i am student of geography an rhe principal also have the. Background from geography.

Night Life

I am not a hosteller so i cannot tell about the night life but i saw the college in evening and it looks very pretty and aesthetuc..yes one more thing that for genz it is a very aesthetic kind of college like its hwritage buldings made by britishers and all..

Likes

Personally I like my college's environment. It's so friendly and cooperative.
It's an all girls college so it's so comfortable as it is away from male gaze.
I highly do recommend this college for study and personal growth.

Dislikes

I somewhat dislike it's canteen. The food is not as good as our expectations.
The prices in canteen is very high with low quality food.
I dislike the thing that a few professors favour some fix students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yeah the curriculum here is so strong, it's student friendly and ability enhancement. The courses offer here are relevant and can be applicable in our day to day lives. It gives us insight into ourselves.

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Infrastructure of the college is very up-to-date.
College crowd is very active and diverse, giving opportunity to learn and explore.
Teachers are very well educated and friendly towards the students.

Dislikes

Sports facilities at the college need to be improved.
Few teachers methods of teaching are traditional and outdated.
There is strict criteria for attendance, to maintain 66.7 percent

Placement Experience:

Final your students are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are HDFC Bank, Zomato, Swiggy, mahindra,EY, Deloitte and others. Highest package was around 30 lacs per annum and the average package is around 4 lakhs. Job profiles were mostly business analyst, research and development, PR and others. I will prepare for civil services examinations after clearing my graduation.

Our placement services is efficient and effective which always comes up with quality companies in terms of employment and package.
We have solid infrastructure which includes medical rooms, basketball ground, main ground, fest ground etc.
Our faculties expert in their teaching of respective subject where the teaching method is technology based and mentorship quality is demand based

Dislikes

Our course curriculum is relevant but sometimes it lacks little practical learning.

Placement Experience:

Student set in the placement from 5th semester where where is companies visited college for the campus placement such as KPMG, Zomato Deloitte, etc and number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college and highest package was 25 lakhs and average package was 4 lakhs and profile offered were finance, marketing, etc around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Honest review of ddu

Likes

The teaching faculty is really nice and polite. They usually help students even when u contact them after college hours.
The engagements and the quality of the social interactions in this college is also very good and very uplifting.
The quality of the infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in du, considering its very new.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the thought of learning about the literature of the older times was pretty exciting to me while I was choosing the course. The curriculum however does prepares you if you want to continue ur academic journey in the English field.

Ramjas the heaven on earth

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
