Remarks

I can suggest for every colleges there will be good and bad. Coming to this college there will be fee structure will makes us bad sense. Poor people can not affort this college. I can suggest to the college if there will be less in fee structure chances will be there to take more admissions.

Course Curriculum Overview

Coming to course matter i have taken BBA(Bachelors of Business Administration). This completely deals with Business environment. The faculty is very good in teaching in practical manner. By seeing that environment we will never feel to go out and college infrastructure is very hygiene and clean.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, but my college will provide time for internship. In that period we have to search for internship and we have to do. Even i have done internship nearby my college the stipend was providing 6000 PM. Even my friends were they use to get 10000 PM but theirs was long distance.

Placement Experience

Placements is good, but for PG many chances will be there. But coming to UG i dont think so it will be much better. Placements are good but the packages are very less. Even we have got Microland, Wipro, Infosys etc. The faculty of placement dept is very helpful.

College Events

REVAMP is one of the most knowing event which is celebrated in the REVA. The whole universities will be participating in this event. This event will be celebrating 3 days. Other than this Gangsters day, Mask Day, Ethnic day, Quiz day etc. This all be be attracting of REVAs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Coming fee structure is Very High. And also for every year they are increasing a lot. When i was joined in REVA for BBA it was 45000rs Per annum as a college fee. But it drastically increased for 90000rs for annum. Even it may increase in future also.

Fees and Financial Aid

Campus Life

Campus life is excellent. If you pay crores also you wont get that life returns. I have enjoyed a lot in college life. I was much interested in extracurricular activities. I use to participate in sports like NSS, NCC and March-past. Even exhibitions will be conducting for which department has done successful things like robotics, cars, mechanical etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very good and hygienic. Even mess food also very nice. There will be two categories south mess and North Mess. Which ever you wanna you can opt for that. Hostel facilities are very good i use be in 5th floor. The whole university we can see and also to that cool climate we use to sleep in corridors only.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, There will be celebrating alumni day for meeting old students and taking their feedback in there life like about there jobs and their successful life. In 2019 we have celebrated alumni day on Jan 26th. Where my all friends met and enjoyed a lot.

Exam Structure

Exam Pattern will be two methods. Offline and Online Method. Which will increase our knowledge. Even seminars and assignments will be more which will be increasing our communication skills. Even we use to go Global Meetings for giving seminars and quiz.

Admission

I went through Management quota and cousins made me to take admission. The whole process my cousin has done its easy process only. The management is very helpful in admission process. Even we can get a chance by writing karnataka entrance exam also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For jobs, it prepares you very well. You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. If your goal is a PhD or pure research, though, it leans a bit too practical and corporate rather than deeply academic.

They have highly qualified and experienced teachers.
For a sports enthusiast like me, having a ground is great in college is great.
There are various types of events conducted very often which provides us exposure academically, culturally, socially and it also helps our social networking and connections.

Dislikes

I think infrastructure can be improved and maintained well, than it is now.
Placement services should be improved too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom because I was a commerce student in my PUC, and I wanted to master in the same field. This course has shaped my knowledge on accounts and finance which has been some sort of a passion for me. Accounts, tally, finance, are the studies that are to be applied by anyone who's working with numbers, finances or in banks, account sectors etc which I'm doing currently, and it has really helped me a lot. The only improvement in this course that I seek is practical applications and workshops that would definitely help students enhance their skills.

There are a lot of aspects that i really appreciate about the college it's the peaceful professional environment and the quality of teaching,the teachers in this campus are really professional and the methods of teaching are very effective
The infrastructure is at an absolute best with the campus having hostel for both girls and the boys there is a canteen that serves quality and nutritious food for the hostelers and quality sporting amenities where everyone can showcase their talent
Relevance of rigor of the course curriculum to personal and professional development it all depends on the individual on what they would want to pursue besides this campus is a management based school which teaches every management course the best wa

The placements and employability of this college is at the top most quality The number of students that do not get placements after the completion of the course is at an all time low Many graduates end up working for a company of choice through campus placements ISME also has a placement team who are excellent at their jobs and have a success rate of getting a job for the students who finish the course at a 98 percent success rate The students who pass out of their respective courses are highly qualified thanks to the effective teachings by the professors in the college

Roof top cafeteria i loved it and made memories over there
Amphitheatre I loved it and where we rarely do jaming

We have B.com with Acca , BBA , and bca , in all the sem we will be having 2 internals and 1 pre final of Bangalore University and it consists of 80 marks and in internals we have score more than 16 or we have to rewrite the exam util we get more than 16

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Likes

The College Atmosphere, The Students are mostly good and unproblematic.

Dislikes

The teaching staff they're arrogant and unskilled.
Teaching is below the mark for even average as the bar.
Lab facilities are very poor and the condition ia not sterile for experiments

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

ABBS is cut over rest!!

ABBS means Professionalism and therefore students have to follow the strict uniform code as assigned by our college.
No entry without icard and it has to be around our collar whole we are in college.
Cameras are everywhere and therefore no blind spot and this ensures complete security.

Dislikes

Uniform colour is very poor as it looks like colour of postman uniform.

Placement Experience:

Oracle, Genpact, Amazon and you can name any name which you know in technology and they were at ABBS. Junior software developer roles were the primary roles offered to BCA students and placements worth 4-6 lakhs were offered to us.

Campus is good and mainly located near Whitefield.
too good supportive professor. Staff are too chill. Some staff are like our bestfriend's.
Lab equipment are good . You are not facing any issue with pc.. it's good

Dislikes

There is only few events in a year. I think only 3 events.
Hostel building is too bad. And hostel food is too bad.
There is no field to play games like cricket, football.

Placement Experience:

After 8 sems we are eligible for placements. TCS ,Dell and many companies visited mvj. Highest package of mvj was 22lakhs per annum. Basically some companies ask CGPA at above 8. My plan is a developer after my engineering in python language or Else I will continue my dad business

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

Students become eligible for placements 6th semester, a lot of companies visit college including Amazon, Anz , Accenture currently highest package is 46.56 lpa from AWS offered to 3 students placement. Last year placement percentage was 97% average package is 8.97 lpa my plan is to sit for placements

Remarks:

I did a two year Master of Divinity course from the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies. The college is a top spot for studying God and for the mental and spiritual growth of a being. The college is pretty much affordable and the quality of teaching is also good. On top of that, the faculty was vell qualified.
