Remarks

The faculties are highly experienced. Offering include teaching industry ready skill (especially from 2nd year) the CIC (center of industry collaboration) is very supportive of students participating in hackathons and going for research encalves and get there own reasearch published.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

There are many options of courses for student to opt from. They provide elective courses (thoughtout your btech, every semester) and specializations from 3rd year. These coureses range from Design and analysis of algorithm, Cloud computing, blockchain, Computer Architecture and organization, etc.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship opportunity comes with along side the placements in the fourth year first semester. Namely companies like- Thoucentric, Eucloid, Delloite, Ernst and Young, Big Basket, Thomson Reuters, and others come yearly. Not sure about when the firms pay visit because that decided by respective firms and recruiters.

Placement Experience

4

The placement starts from 4th year, first semester. As in every college this is a tough semester to manage. Although the faculties are very suppotive but the placement process is a long process due to the delays in firms coming for interview. And sometimes the requirement don't match the skills of the students or at times students have to switch there core subjects to prepare for interview. All in all its a very overwhelming semester but if you are determined and hopeful you will turn out well.

Fees and Financial Aid

NU offers industry exposure and serene campus for the students. Academics and faculties are good. Although the location is quite remote, but industry experience that the college provides compensates for the same.

Campus Life

5

NU offers good industry exposure and a beautifull and serene campus. The academics can be hectic from time to time. The location is quite remote. But the environment, the faculties, and other projects (r&d courses and capstones) will always give you a chance to reach the heights of you capabilities and rise higher and make most of that opportunity.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostels are decent, they don't have AC but have HVAC. There are 1-3 seater occupancy and 2 boys and girls hostel. Its a green campus so the absence is hardly felt. As hostels are compusory the registration process works simultaneously with your admissions and rooms changes every year. There's no option for renting spaces.

Faculty

5

The faculties are very suppotive, they understand the purpose of academics and co-curricular activities. They help you procuere indudtry-readiness and preapare you to heal with issues related to real life and professional ethics.

Interview Experience

5

Every course (even electives) have course credit. And the final score is calculated out of 100 in which there are mutiple paramerts. Like in a course DLC (Digital logic and cicuits) as part of a parameter of 20 marks the group of students had to make a project and all the projects were to be prepared for a college exhibit and the marking was done how innovative the final model was along with the traction it gets during the exhibit. In another course on Interview Skills (in 3rd or 4th year first sem) they prepare you for the Aptitude exams, Picture Comprehension, one-to-one practise interview with faculties, and Group Discussions.

Night Life

5

The college has one gym, 2 cafeterias, and the library hat has huge range of books related to most diciplines. The last I rember there was option to rent the book for 14 days and get them renewed after, the library opens at 9-10am and closes by 11-11:30pm night. The options for hostel is compusory for students and last I hear they have extended the out timings on weekends.
