Course Curriculum Overview

4

i would rate it 3.5/5. Since python and csa are practical subjects and appearing for the exams for practical subjects as as python in which you are required to write the code manually often increses the chances of mistakes and there is no use of it in professional life because you're always required to code on computer rather than writing it doen on paper. i would suggest to focus on the subjects more practically rather than theory exams.

Internships Opportunities

3

Alot of internships are offered by the college. they also have an internship cell which makes sure that the opportunity of internships are provided to the students on regular basis. some of the companies which have offered internship salescode.ai, MICCIA, Deccan AI, study smart etc. The average stipend offered by the companies is 10000-15000. These internships are both remote and full time. NOC is provided by the college to the student if the internship is full time to compensate the attendance issues.

Placement Experience

4

students start getting placements from 5th semester. Few of the companies that visited for campuplacement are deloitte, EY pwc offering various roles such as business consultant, auditing intern, research anaylst, junior associate, auditing intern etc. the highest package is abt 25 lakh and average package is 7-8 lakh. about 40 -50% students get the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

i have paid Rs.59965 as my first year fees. In which tuition fee was Rs.1800, admission fee was rs.5, developments fee was Rs.1500, lab fee was Rs.500, college lab maintainence fee was Rs.5000, icard fee was Rs.250, University enrollement fee was 200, establishment fee was Rs20000, portal and network charges were 10000. Many other charges also constitue the total fees such as canteen improvement fee, student inusrance fee, electricity fee etc. fees of foreign students is rs 2,82,172, and for sc /st it is abt 27000-30,000. scholarships available - merit cum need(2000/-, selected through interviews) hrc freeships to students(50%or100%fee concession on inteview basis) dell aspire scholarship etc etc. i have not availed any kind of scholarship.

Campus Life

5

Considering all the hygiene and safety issues, infrasture of the campus is great. Study material can be easy accessed through the library. it consist almost every book. classrooms are equiped with high technology equipment such as smartboard, computers, projectors etc which facilitate learning and enhance teaching. Sports and extracurricular activities are highly encouraged by the faculty of the college. Both indoor and outdoor sports can be easily accessed with professional teachers providing the training. Socities and clubs of the college are very active organing event on regular basis which helps to inculcate qualities such as leadership, confidence, initiative etc among the students. the annual fest of the college is also organised on a high scale where the renowned artists are invited.

Admission

i applied for indraprastha university(new delhi), university of delhi and IIM Rohtak(ipmat). i couldn't appear for ipmat due to some personal reasons. i got into indraprastha university- main campus but didn't opt for it because i got into hansraj college which is more reputated and has better placement facilities. and i fele like i could find like minded people since university of delhi, north campus often has diverse regional crowd and students are more academically validated

Faculty

4

each student is alloted a mentor in the college to whom they can approach and talk regarding the problems they are facing in the colleges which makes the faculty more approachable- faculty of computer science department is very good - Mrs. Sunita Chand, Mr. Muniraj Gupta There are 3 DSE exams, VAC, SEC, AEC and GE. i feel AEC(hindi) is not relvent to any of the courses in the college considering that in present world english communication is priortised and no one uses the hindi communications ways such as letters, emails etc etc

Night Life

5

Mitti cafe in our college which is a project of enactus is one of the best spot in the college. It offers great food and environment to spend your leisure time in the college. There are alot of cafes and roadside places to visit around the campus. some of my favourites places are teapine, wafflicks, tacobell etc. Since all the colleges are very near in the North Campus, it provides a great opportuninty to connect with like minded students of other colleges such kmc, st. stephens, hindu college etc. Kamla Nagar market is highly accesible from Hansraj College. The whole Campus area is very lively offering vrious gyms, cafes, parks etc. Since there are many pgs and hostels in the campus area, the most of the people residing in that area are students which makes it dafe to roam around the campus are even at the night.

Reviewed on Mar 2, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
