Faculties relationship with students is very much good and they are approachable. I think every faculty is best in there own domain , one i liked the most is our Hod - she is a brilliant teacher and her way of teaching is very much relatable and one can easily understand.
Faculty are very polite if you have 0 beef with them other wise theu are rather disrepectful I liked Debajyoti Chaterjee he is my mentor and one of the coolest and chillest teacher out there. Only faculty I genuinly hate is G uma devi she has too much problem with girls and boys. Even if they are just discussing anything about studying she wont tolerate it according to her boys shall sit seperate and dont talk yo girls her tone is very bad and she is mean for 0 reason and unapproachable. Exams are medium difficulty many atudent fail exams because of low attendence and not writing the paper
The curriculum is really up to date and good but the timing of college is too much from 9 to 5 we have to rot in that one hot as hell classroom Real life problems are also disscused by few of the faculty not all They have 0 idea which exams should get more no. Of holidays to prepare for you would have esp paper they will give 10 days of gap to study but then you would have dsa paper with a single day gap.
The college priovides best faculty like they have best at their subjects . They have phd in their subjects . They arte quite good as they like to intract with every students to make them to finish at their full potential in studies . college provide numerous ttutors for a subject , such that if we dont like a subjkect or the way iof teacher teaching then we can go for a best option to change the tutor to make a new to appear fo the next section. we are awarded with best tutors as compared to another colleges . I dont like some of tutors because they give lots of works as well as theyare too strict in their subjects . moreover the college icontains tutors based on skills and a i like a them all.i like my computer network subject sir he is having a phd and quite he was been perviously working at IIT kanpur . he was quite good at interaction to students . he was like to give advises to make up every students full potential . hea was good at teaching because he provide simplest and essential to score good marks .

My experience with campus life here has been vibrant and full of energy. Every department brings its own flavor to the calendar, creating a well-rounded experience. We have the Annual Day and Annual Sports Day, which are regular features for us, alongside other events like ‘Caculo’s Got Talent’ (September) and ‘Fun Week’ (January). The departmental fests are also a big part of the culture: the BCA department hosts ‘IT Maestro’, the BBA department organizes ‘Synergy’, and the B.Com department hosts ‘Phoenix’. These events, along with the ‘IT Fun Fest’, really keep the excitement and community spirit alive throughout the year. The library is a central part of our daily routine; it’s well-stocked with a wide range of textbooks and competitive exam materials, and the open-access system makes it very easy to find what you need. It’s a quiet, productive space that I find great for study sessions. Regarding infrastructure, the classrooms are equipped with the necessary tools to support our learning, and the labs are functional for our technical coursework. Outside of academics, the sports department is active, often organizing competitive meets at the Peddem Sports Complex. Socially, life here is what you make of it—the student council and various cells like the NSS and Green Club provide plenty of opportunities to get involved. Whether it's organizing events or participating in social initiatives, there’s always something happening. For me, the best part has been the informal network I’ve built with my friends, which makes the college experience feel much more personal and supportive.
I opted for the BCA program because I wanted a solid foundation in software development and computing, and this course does a good job of covering the basics through the new NEP framework. The syllabus is structured, but honestly, it can feel a bit 'bookish' at times. This is why I think the real learning happens in how the faculty approaches it—they don't just lecture; they push us to reason and actually apply logic during the intense exam sessions, which are fair but challenging. If I could suggest one area for improvement, it’s that the formal university curriculum could be updated faster to match what’s trending in tech today. That said, the college does a great job of 'filling the gaps.' I’ve really valued the short-term courses they offer in things like AI/ML, Python, and Cybersecurity, which make the learning feel much more relevant. Plus, the MoU with the Goa Technology Association (GTA) is a huge advantage; it feels like the college is genuinely trying to move beyond textbooks and help us get comfortable with real-world industry requirements. Overall, the course gives you the degree, but the college's extra initiatives are what actually give you the confidence to apply for tech roles.
