campus life is quite good, there are some restrictions but its ok. as i mentioned earlier boys hostel is in the campus and girls hostel is outside of campus. Gender ratio is like 60:40 so you won't get bored in collage. In campus there are various activities to do like Football, Cricket, Basketball, Lawn tennis, Volleyball, etc.

I had passed CU Law entrance & got rank 62.At the time of interview i was preferred my nearest college & got gov. college. Procedure was so simple after counselling register your name & they give u particular date .on that date u just pay money & other relevant document which is told at the time of registration. that OK nothing will not be done
All faculty are so good.Nothing to say.they are doing proper teaching with their best.If any student can not understand then teacher are doing to repeat her/his lesson until the student understand .I any student have problem then he/she can go to faculty room for personally solve it with their lesson .

This is a point worth mentioning and emphasizing. TIFR boasts a hassle-free, liberal and apolitical environment, optimum for upbringing of rational and scientific temper. Gender ratio: Sadly, reflects the nationwide situation. Female participation in the research is encouraged, though. Student parties: TIFR has a small but close-knitted family, where everyone knows each other by first-name basis, and no hierarchy and abuse of position are encouraged (even among the students and professors). And parties are a regular must for such a close family. Not only are there numerous student parties, but there are also 'official' social get-together for student-teacher interactions. Sports: Cricket, Football, Lawn Tennis, Table tennis, Frisbee, Vollyball, Chess, Treasure hunt - and many more. A healthy mind needs a healthy body, after all! Cultural societies: dance and musical classes are hosted regularly, taught by great teachers (we even have a Padma Shri winner among us!) Student diversity: Any part of this country, and any social and religious background - you name it, we have them here! Tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation and economic status: Science doesn't care about these, nor does it show bias towards one and shun the other. And so do we. We are a family, boasting unity amidst diversity. Politics: TIFR remains unapologetically apolitical. Politics creates division, bias - which may cause more harm than good. Science is above all these - and so are we (even though we are well aware of whats happening everywhere, we don't let our ideologies interfere with our pursuit of academic and scientific excellence).
The curriculum at TIFR are on par with the Master's courses in different IIT's. Being a research institute, equal amount of emphasis is given to semester coursework and active research (through projects). A very good thing about the course structure is that it is very much modern, and the student's are updated about the ongoing research in the particular field. Apart from the compulsory master's level courses, we have an option to choose elective courses ( total 7 have to be taken, but one can take as many as he/she wants). Courses can be either credited or audited, and the compulsory courses have the option of drop test (whereby qualifying an additional exam for the topic one can receive the full credit without going through the course, a fairly tough one to crack though). The elective courses are very advanced, and are taught sometimes by some of the most well known researchers in the country (the likes of Ramakrishna Hosur and Shiraz Minhwala). One point of caution is that the coursework is heavily centered around theory, and there is very little scope (apart from the projects) to explore experimental works. Most of the research done here are experimental in nature, so that kind of makes up for it.

There was a formal discussion before the admission to evaluate the candidate for eligibility of the particular course. The principal asked about the prior education curriculum and about the projects I dealt during my bachelors degree. Since Christ college is the brand of good colleges in Bangalore, they also focused on the English communication.
This was not a regular course, in fact evening college. Therefore, the entrance examination was not required for this particular course. There was a formal interview before the admission to evaluate the candidate for eligibility. I secured 55% aggregate. This college and this particular course enabled and gave me the flexibility to work and study.

Yes, I searched many colleges names in google to know about. Then my relatives, cousins also given to me so many suggestions. Also I asked my teachers colleagues. After taking their suggestions, I also thought about my marks, and my self I calculated like, aah if this marks(79) can have a capacity to hold that good college selection. After that I came to know, MITS is suitable college for me and that time am very interested in doing or study of civil engineering. And finally I made my decision to select college like MITS and now am happy and be proud to be a student in this college.
Actually my college lecturers are nearly 90% Ph. D lecturers. They taughting us very well. Also they have lot of experience but, when we came to talk about civil department, there is lack of lecturers having subject knowledge. It has a special reason. In my college civil department is started in the year 2014 only. And my batch is the second batch, they trying to get more facility to my college.

I got admitted by management quota by Merit. I visited the college with my parents furnished my 10th and 12th Results and was welcomed to Join the college after which we paid the Fees for the first year which was the charges for Transport, Labs, Library and the Teaching itself. Having joined the management quota, myself and fellow students were given an additional "Bridge course" as an introduction and a settling in practice. The bridge course brushed up on subjects like Maths, computer science and English and also had activities to develop skills like improvisation and spoken English
The Course curriculum is based on the Regulation of Anna University and the college aims to follow these regulations as tightly as possible. Staff often recommend additional study material and simpler local author books for ease of learning . Regular tests are conducted to keep the subjects attention on the course material. Labs are each taken 2 hours per week at a minimum for each class and Lab batches are divided in half for a more suitable ratio of students and technicians. Symposiums, Annual functions for national holidays are arranged by each individual department

The admission process was two folded. We had to write the XAT exam. In 2010 XAT consisted of a section in Verbal and another section in Quant/DI. We also had to write a short 250 words essay on a given topic. XAT exams in 2010 was held during December. Post XAT, candidates were invited for the personal interview rounds based on percentile scores. For the Business Management course there was no Group Discussions. The personal interview normally had 3 panel members and we were judged based on previous experiences, motivation to do an MBA and general business awareness. Both the XAT scores and Personal interview scores are combined to come up with the final list of candidates to be offered admission
The gender ratio in XLRI is very good primarily because of the HR program. Male:Female will stand around 60:40 overall. In terms of diversity preference is given to people from different backgrounds. We had doctors, lawyers, engineers, natural science graduates, humanities graduates all in the same class. Diversity is also visible in the number of India states represented. All major Indian festivals are organized by the students. The institute is also very heavy on business competitions like b-plans, financial trading, etc.

A hostel is a shelter for the students who come from far off places. Students live there with each other and learn the value of discipline and co-operation. The atmosphere of a hostel is conducive to study.Generally, hostels are situated close to school or college. Thus the teachers have direct watch and supervision over the students in the hostels. Further, it saves time of the students for study. The hostel life is a disciplined life.Life in a hostel is helpful to the students. It teaches them a sense of responsibility in matters of taking care of books, clothes and health. Students do all the works with their own hands. Thus they become self-dependent. They try to manage themselves with the money from their father. They try to adjust themselves with all kinds of situations. The students in hostel feel that they are not alone. The superintendent of the hostel acts as the father of a family. The students adhere to a new routine life. They pay hostel dues and mess dues etc. in time. If the payment is delayed, they will be in trouble. Students have their study hour and meal hour in hostel. They do not get any scope to neglect their study. They are free from the worries of home. They devote themselves sincerely to their studies. A hostel is like a family of students with the superintendent as the head. Students develop a sense of friendship and fellow feeling. They read, play, dine and sit together. In hostel, students exchange their books. A student, thus, does not need to buy all the books. Further, reading in company is more helpful to them than reading alone. Sometimes, the hostel life does not suit some students. Homesick students neglect their study and dislike the hostel atmosphere. Some other types of students think that hostel life provides ample freedom to them. They misuse their freedom and indulge in rough activities. For their deterioration, the hostel life cannot be blamed.
After all they do for you, sometimes it is hard to find the right words to thank a teacher. Whether you are a parent, student, or fellow teacher, here are some good words to use and some things to think about.Teachers shape the minds of our children and our future. There really are no words to express gratitude for all they do. Many of them are role models and make a huge difference in the lives of children. When thinking about the best way to thank a teacher, think about what he or she did that was exceptional or above the call of duty. Also think about how he or she changed you personally; the way you thought about things, they way you saw yourself and the

The faculties were really good. Each faculty helps students explore well. Teaching was of excellent quality as teachers made sure that each student should learn basics and choose a good career path. Frequent Questionnaire will be held by faculties to help students to prepare for exploring the subject well. Staff also assures that projects are of standard and innovative for the final year. REcords of each student are maintained well and there will be a retest for students who did not do well in respective tests. For students who cannot attend the internals due to fever or emergency, the spare test will be conducted so that students do not lose marks in the final internals.
Exam structure held by the college is really good as it does not make students tense by conducting practical and theory exams with a gap of one or two days. The exam pattern was also good as students can attempt all questions. Very disciplined and cannot cheat in exam hall as only 30 students of different classes were allowed to sit in combination. The lab practicals were held in the afternoon which was an advantage as students will be tired in afternoon. The afternoon session of the lab practicals will help students to do well as there will more time for students. The labs were conducted only thrice in a week.

Event celebration is the best part of the college. The manual function of the college is called GUNJ and there are many events happen in this event each and everyone involve in this event. Student get chance to show their ability or hidden talent .The programa are like dance in which the categories are opportunity, duet, solo, group, folk dance, hiphop, singing like solo single for male and female then duet Drama like street drama, mime, film, on the spot event Debate, writing etc
College have a team that is dedicated for campus placement. They are taking care of each and every student who are going to complete the studies. Placement cell is really active to do their work. They helps to get best suitable company for each student as per their skills. I got placed from campus only and got 1.8 LPA in wipro technologies. And many of my case mates are settled in their place either in gov or it sector

It was damm hectic. Especially the labs which were there thrice a week and for 3 hours per day. Bad structure is that, we had learn the programs at home and write programs in the labs. The funny part is, if you have to learn on your own and come and write it in the lab every week, what is the use of college. And if you failed to write it, you would be thrown out.
Course structure needs an improvement for sure as it has less practical knowledge and more of theory. In this fast growing IT life, companies prefer people with more of practical knowledge. Also, your percentage doesn't matter much, but your skills does. They need encourage students to opt for Internship in the final semester rather doing a project in college.

Admission through BU PG councelling and admission process at Bangalore university was long process .notification was issued in June but the processes ended on 27th June.and a very long procedure to submit the documents and councelling was held of 7th August and there we were verified and then sent to auditorium and we were seated on ranking wise and when ranking is called we attend there and selected the college. But at Presidency it's fast and easy going and minimal.
The course structured is planned well and with all cultural and management fests and lots of industrial visits and planned accordingly with flip classes and presentation discussion and various other activities we have a library where lots of books are available for references and each class we have group activities along with group discussion and inputs case studies etc. Where each student is allowed to put in there own inputs and viewpoints.

yup my college faculty members are very good and very coperative professores they help us wherever we require they guide us especially the principle, he treat us as if we are his own child. its a fun to be with these kind of lecturers, they provide us chance not only to perform in acedemics but also in sports field
by getting very good marks in Comed-k I got addmission in this college. I got 18346 rank in all over India and get admitted in this college. I opted this college because it has a very good environment having good faculty members, and more important to that it has a very good placement record in Karnataka

fee structure is a very feasible for every student i completed my bachelor degree around Rs.60,000/- for all three academic year and the college also providing the scholarship program where the poor students who are financially backward had the better oppurtunity the studies.this is the only college in our district providing high quality education with very feasible fee sturcture.
After successful completion of my intermediate i want to join in a repudiated college. i had a desire to complete my bachelor degree in statistics. at that time aditya degree college is the only college which is offering the statistics in B.SC course. apart from all aditya is the only trusted & reputated college in my district.so, i choosen that college for my bachelor degree.

Alumni do visit us and senior students especially those in 2nd Year are really helpful and give us the guidance in all aspects of studies and exams. Since all the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activitees liekoutstation excursion trips carried out in tandem with senior and staff, we enjoy a healthy rapport despite minor hiccups which are eventually bound to happen. Nature camps locally with a visit to hills, rivers, bird sanctuary and KRS Dam Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Zoo (Second Best Zoo in India), writing and essay competitions (I really enjoy participating in Quizs and Essay Competitions. I have just recently send my essay to UN sponsored essay titled "The Greatest Enemy of Knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge"). Apart from this we have the regular stuff like Sports competitions, Debates, cultural activities, recently we celebrated Teacher's Day in a Big way.
The new Course Curriculum B. Ed is really very well thought and researched. It earlier was a 1 Year course. The authorities have improved the curriculum and brought in more sophistication to the course. The curriculum has been designed not just focusing on the teacher, but keep in mind the tripolar approach i.e. Student, Teacher and the curriculum. The course is really student centric and give a lot of importance and emphasis on not just student learning but also on activities and not mere concentrates on teaching. Rather than just conventional teaching, ti encourages the extensive use of teaching teaching aids like student involvement, role play, model making, ICT, Video, Audio aids, ICT (Information, Communication & Technology), Interactive White Board (IWB), Seminars, PowerPoint Presentation, Assignments, Tutorials, Co-curricular activities, Extra Curricular activities and a host of other activities.

The placements and job opportunities are extremely good at DCE/DTU with many companies paying a visit to the campus to hire students. I believe DCE benefits greatly from situated in Delhi/NCR region as it is convenient for the training and placement cell to organize company visits and generate interest. Of course, having a vast alumni network also helps. In my branch, 85-90% of the students got placed through campus placements. Many core civil engineering companies like Bechtel, L&T. Samsung E&C, GS E&C, Ramboll, Emaar etc. visited along with government companies. Apart from this, a lot of tech and consulting companies also hired civil engineers. In the case of core companies, packages offered were in the range of 4-6 LPA, as the students were hired into a graduate trainee program. Government salaries were higher with more perks. Among the other branches, the likes of Google, Facebook, Amazon etc. made offers of >50 LPA. Startups like Flipkart also hired with a decent salary of 11-14 LPA.
The campus comes to life during the annual technical and cultural festivals where students from all departments (and also from other colleges) come together. Apart from that, there are Model United Nations activities organized many times a year and other cultural societies focused on music and dance also hold regular meetups. There are also many sports teams which regularly visit other campuses for meets. (I was part of one such mission to IIT Kharagpur where the whole travel and stay was organized by the sports committee). In this respect, it totally depends on the individual and how proactive they want to be. The gender ratio is highly in favor of males, as is the case with most engineering colleges. However, in terms of participation in activities, the ratio is not so skewed. With regard to diversity on campus, DTU has also started taking in international students: so the campus is becoming more inclusive.

The course curriculum was helpful to the alround development of the student. It is not only confined to the classroom study,it also encouraged the practical knowledge by industrial visits. The college gave a lot of freedom to express and identify the abilities in the student.Apart from the studies it also organised social camps to increase the knowledge among the people in villages through NSS and other activities. It also conducts sports leagues to improve the sporting abilities in the students.
After qualifying for the EAMCET,I Went for counselling. There i found one of the college representatives at my counselling center. He guided me the procedure to join in the college and he asked me to visit the college.I visited the college and administration was encouraging the economically backward class students. As it was helpful to me i decided to join in the college and i followed the College representative.he guided me in the web counselling and finally,i got the seat in the college.
