campus life is better than other colleges. ragging free campus.boys and girls ratio like 7:4. yes robotics, debates, sports are held here. nice collage, teachers have their helping hand for us, study lineup is better than any other colleges.
Manav Rachna Is a college which is not gender biased at all. Almost equal no. of girls and boys came. As the University is International a lot of Foreign students also joined. As far as extracurricular activities are concerned there were all sorts of events that took place. For people interested in academic related activities there were seminars held and workshops organised. We even had a workshop of our own. Sports activities were also a major part. Teams went for National level competitions. Also Manav Rachna has their own invention legacy. They have developed prototype cars which can also be seen in the International Trade Fair held every year in India.
There were a number of Events that took place during those 4 years of my college life. There were cultural events which took place as well as technical festivals also. My Team was awarded 1st prize in the Technical Project Competition for the Final Year Project. Annual Fest was something which everyone looked forward to, as people from music industry would come and perform and it was very exciting to see them live.
I gave RPET i.e. Rajasthan pre engineering test. Its a state exam. Total marks of this exam is 300 and i got 240 marks. I choose this because of placement and study. At my time there was 30-35 companies visited for placement like infosys, ibm, tcs, accenture, tech mahindra etc. Environment of college is also good. Facilities are there very supportable. I am from Rajasthan and college rank is 1 in state. So that's why i choose this.
I gave RPET i.e. rajasthan pre engineering test in march 2010 and result got declared in may 2010. I went through the counselling and counselling result declared in starting of June. I got admission in July 1st week.I went in college and took the admission form from the administrator and filled up and submit. They asked fee of 52000 and 5000 caution money. I gave and got admitted.

The placements are ok. An average student will get a job easily. Generally the companies do not offer high packages but the number of jobs are sufficient. Getting program specific job is difficult as the programs are very specific. During my recruitment few companies were Decathalon, Beroe Research, Thermax, Infosys, Adani, Manikaran Power Ltd, etc. The average package was around 3 lpa.
Since the university has got multiple branches the overall gender ratio is balanced. Like in BBA and Law courses there is a good gender ratio but in B.Tech there are quite less femsle students. There are events happening something or the other through out the year and if students are able to convince the deans ir HODs college funds events outside capus aswell.
aving successfully placed batches of students in top companies, year after year, several renowned companies have recruited from our campus in huge numbers. Some of the many prominent companies on campus included IBM, DHL, Nicolas Piramal, KPMG, Wipro, HSBC, JM Morgan, i Gate, UBS Bank, Citi Financial, Gammon India, GESCO, Crisil, Zee TV, NDTV, Asian Paints, Big FM, Thomas Cook, Reliance Retail, Siemens, Emerson Group, ITC Group, UB Group, JK Industries and HCL Technologies. Students have even received international placement offers at the Jumbo Electronics Co. Ltd., VFS Pvt. Ltd. & Kotak Securities. State entrance exam score card is necessary. If you have any other all India score card then also you can get admission. I appeared in state engineering entrance exam and scored sufficient to get admission. then it is offline. Scores to be called used to publish in newspapers according students had to appear before allotment authority and based on availability of seats students would choose the college. That is how I took admission.
Faculties are keep on changing, some faculties were having good knowledge. Many faculties just wanted to teach because they wanted to appear for other exams. Though they were also studying in-depth knowledge was there. Teaching should be strictly as per University exam papers. If teacher goes on teaching as per topic, it is never going to end.it will not have any relevance in what We are taught and what is coming in exam paper.

In the 1st year of Engineering, everyone would have common subjects which are the blend of all branches.Polymer Science and Technology is an amazing subject which provides knowledge on Chemical, Mechanical and Technology.Every day you learn something amazing and the experiments you do in labs are very interesting.I had Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, Polymer chemistry, CAD, Polymer kinetics, Organic chemistry, Polymer physics, Rubber technology, Tyre technology, Product Design, Industrial management etc. Wow, they covered almost everything in just 3 years of time!
In my time, we had to counsel in Bangalore and choose college and course as per the ranking we get in CET examination. In that process, I chose SJCE college and Polymer Science and Technology as my course because I knew I will succeed in my life if I have studied in SJCE.Finally, I received the confirmation for admission. As it was Government aided college I had to pay less fee yearly compared to other colleges.I had to show the confirmation letter and fees paid in the college administration department and rest of the process will be guided by them.
The main key factor of a well successful university is its faculty.you hardly find a non Ph.D faculty in the premises and each and every person has such perfection in curriculum where every doubt a student arises is clarified in minutes by explaining it in detail and understandable manner this makes up to know about a lot of information and no faculty is ever tired of answering the questions.
Exams are never a problem or stress feeling thing at gitam university there is no worry about the exam paper and all as you are prepared well before the exams are commensing and the standard of the question paper is very good there are all the valid and truely deserving questions which improve the student to remember the subject in long term

VIT University being a deemed University has its own course. The 4-year course covers almost all aspects of computing knowledge needed in today's world. There are a lot of exams also, CAT1, CAT2 and Term End i.e three exams followed by 3 Quizez also. And if there is a lab associated with the subject, you will have extra 3 exams for the lab during CAT1, CAT2, and Term End.
The gender ratio during my time was like 6000 girls and 14000 boys I guess. Gender ration mostly depended on the branch also. In Mechanical there were only around 10 girls and 600+ boys while in CSE it looked like 50/50. Extracurriculars are good. Labs are well equipped. Sports I did think was that good but I heard that boxing had a good coach.

Campus life is very active and blissful. The campus itself is very beautiful and full of greenery. Girls to Boys ratio is around 1:10 for UG students and little higher for PG students. We have many recreational facilities like Gym, swimming pool, playgrounds, football field, basket ball courts(both indoor and outdoors), Tennis courts etc. Students also participate in inter hostel competitions, both cultural and technical like dance, drama, musicals, fine arts etc and Robotics, programming competitions, hackathons, quizzes, Maths puzzles etc., Chess tournaments, Computer game battles and all.
After results of IIT JEE. Selected students were allocated colleges according to their choices and their ranks in the JEE Counselling. And after final allotment of college and branch, students paid the admission fee online. And then directly reported to the respective colleges on the prescribed joining dates. After joining, students are guided through each and every process with the help of Students guides(senior students) appointed by Counselling service of IIT Kanpur. And college administration is very friendly and work acc to the students.

Mecca our yearly fest is an epithet for great event with lots of fun and frolic. Then there. Is medina our dramtics fest. Many other cultural events and departmental fests are worth visiting. Parliamentary debate is also something which is worth watching. One can see debates on various college issues. Politics at its zenith can be seen at the stage at that moment. Freshers and grad night are also excellent.
One word: supercool.students don't really leave our college but they remain a part of college forever. Parliamentary system of our college which one of the most unique systems in the country is something which is something worth commending. Gender ratio is quite good. People from all walks of life can be seen in the campus. We can actually see unity in diversity in the campus of the hindu college.

I had filled the online form for BBA program and get selected on the basis of 12 aggregate marks. College prepares merit list for all campus together and after getting selected you will informed by the college on their official website. If you are interested in taking admission you have to report the campus you are selected for with all the documents required.
campus life is peaceful and enjoyable. The gender ratio is almost equal. labs are conducted according to the class routine. Events like debate and group discussion done on the small level. People are friendly and helpful. It will good learning experience where you have a prefect balance of fun and education.

The exam structure is quite hectic . You have several internals , two minors and one major Talking about internals it includes lab submission , assignment etc. The 10 marks out of 40 marks of internals is based on this ( Attendance matters!) . Minors are of 30 marks each and hence hold a very important position or i can say it somehow decides whether you will be getting a back or not! If they are below 20 then you need to be worried . Majors are of 60 marks and they are set by faculty of dtu , nsit , iit or our by our faculty and from all these papers one is selected randomly and comes as our paper. So it's totally suprise for us! Sometimes the paper is out of syllabus as well! Sometimes!!
There are mainly two fests : technical and cultural Technical fest (INNERVE) takes place for 2 days and it happens to be a little low on crowd as not many people know though the geeky students land up to win exciting gifts which they surely can win by playing technical games . Cultural fest runs through 2 days and it is the best time of our life . If you are in the organising team then it will give you a liferime memories. Some bigshots of Bollywood happen to come .
Extremely diverse student population belonging to all states in India as well as people from other countries study and work here. Frequent debates, conferences and seminars are a norm. Has an active political atmosphere with elections and votings. However, most of the times the environment is peaceful and students may opt to stay out of politics and other affairs concentrating only on studies. It is advisable to non indulge in any drug abuse and other illegal activities.
Industry placements are offered for M.tech bioinformatics in companies like TCS Research, Strands life sciences and Dr. Reddys for biotech. However many students choose PhD as an option. The batch strength ranges from 15 to 30 out of which about 5 to 10 gets a good placement. Most other opt for higher research path in India or abroad. All students in previous batches are engaged either in Industry or academia.

It depends, I mean gender ratio is depends on rank and admission counselling. There is no particular policy in this. We have indoor stadium and outdoor stadium(Ground). Sports meet being conducted once in a year. Regarding labs i explained already. Debates and all being conducted before placements.
We had seen 60% placement during rescission period. Almost 10 to 12 companies came for on campus. And attended another 10 to 15 Off Campus placements. Our Staff guide us during project work, they help in selecting current useful projects. They give tips how to crack the placement interviews.
Most of the faculty are also scientist in different fields related to plant disease, insects infestation, agriculture economics and crop production etc. They are all PhD holders with 5-20 years of experience in teaching and research. The courses are regularly taught by teachers who are expert in specific field rather than general expertise based. Some personality development course also included where with different activities as debate, group discussion, team based performance checked and scored under test too.
Fees structure is mot that much because its government institute and the tution fees taken half yearly based. The approximate value in Rs. 5000-8000/-. Except this hostel facility available at rs. 300 monthly and no electric charges need to pay by students. Similarly if any student want to scrutiny any exam paper in given time slot can be checked by paying Rs. 100/- per paper based. As scholarship provided to merit students and low fee structure, the fees is not a actual barrier in study here.
Once you get a score in CAT, you fill a form for VGSoM. After that you wait for your call. If you get one, well and good and if you don't then your chance is over there. Once you get a call you have a GDPI round. First there is a GD and then you have to write the summary of the GD which they considered as WAT. Then there is personal interview which takes around 20-25 minutes per candidate. Based on all the factor they will give you a Rank. Then there will be counselling based on the ranks and that's how you get in.

The coarse structure is very interactive and professional. The coarse makes you concentrate on your personal growth as well as professional. We always emphasised on the lab and activities which were very friendly and adaptive. There were multiple sessions and seminars. Trips were organised to gain knowledge. GLC is one of those few places where you can get a lot of exposure to not only the prominent law firms and lawyers due to the close proximity to the Bombay High Court, but also the alumni who takes a keen interest and always available to help students secure internships. It is a pool of talent and it is on you to make the most of it. The college timings are very flexible and allow the students to intern all year round. Ultimately this is what helps students secure permanent full time positions at top law firms.
Campus life is ok, gender ratio is quite good. In fact we had more number of girls than boys in our batch (2009-2014). Loads of moot court competitions, cultural days, guest lecture series. It might not be as great as Xaviers when it comes to cultural events, but law related things are given a lot of importance to. Muns too. Plus it helps you meet other law students from top NLUs and you end up making a lot of valuable friends and connections throughout your 5 years.

The average salary is about 7 lac CTC per annum. Many factors like age, Location, pervious background, educational performance, relationship with faculties come in factor. Also the company looking for the kind to profile and matches is crucial, the campus hires are pride for any organization and also the college but external factors like market / Industry demand geopolitical situation is taken in consideration.
