The gender ratio is may be 7:3 of boys to girls. Most of the students here are of native Uttar Pradesh, but there are few students from other states of india also, like from Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, and also from northeast states of Nagaland and from my state Meghalaya. Most of the students are Hindus, and some are Muslims, and the students from northeast are almost all Christians.

I would say it's average from my point of view, although the university is undergoing renovation at the moment with a new department already opened last semester. Electives are good and helpful to students in order to focus on the studies and to remind them about other things to learn other than the course that they opt.

Kerala University Provided a large list of electives for each branch of students, like for Mechanical Electrical, Civil , about 50 or over elective subjects during the four year curriculum. But , the college did not have that much of options and limited to two each electives of the final two semesters.

As I was a diploma student, I just needed to attend the LATERAL ENTRANCE exams. I was Ranked 1080 of the total of 2500 ranks. I chose this college Namely, College of Engineering and management punnapra because the college was situated Nearest of my Residence.

Annual day is celebrated in the month of february every year. All the achievers are honoured during a grand ceremony held on this day. Another event which every students looks forward to is talent evening. On this evening all the students showcase their variety of talents in extra-curricular activites. The college also organizes a national seminar every year for inculcating the scientific temper in students.

The course structure is great. It teaches basics in the first year. In the second and third year biotechnology related papers are taught. Choice based credit system is currently prevailing. Students have options of taking electives of their choice. Each paper has a set of practicals based on the theory taught in the class. There are three theory classes each day and a practical.

We celebrate Pongal Festival, Diwali Festival, College day Festival, Sports day Festival, Department Function, Annual day Festival, Pooja Festival, Tamil new year, Inaugration of every clubs. All functions are compiled with dance, singing, Drama, speech, Debate and small events.

I got admission through counselling which was held by anna university chennai, there is no other option to get this college without anna university counselling. The counselling was very simple and it gives allotement order based on our marks scored in TANCET.

Faculty of my college is absolutely great and I think it can't be any better than this. They are perfect in what they do and I am quite satisfied that I am enrolling in chitkara university because in here I can see my future bright and clear. Faculty is to awesome and quite qualified.

Placement, well I do not think i have to tell more about this because its already touched it peak. Our college provide the greatest and the best placement in north . They tie up with the greatest companies all around in the globe.

The course structure is good. You have all the computer science(IT) subjects that are essential for the industry, but only catch is don't expect to learn from the faculty, you have to manage everything on your own, in other terms attending the lecture or not is one and the same thing as far as learning is considered. But they have marks for attendance as well, so you might have to attend the classes if you need to score good grades.

Placements are real BAD here. It was the first IIIT that got established, but doesn't stand anywhere in terms of placements to IIIT-A and IIIT-H. Only a few good companies, companies of the lights of Flipkart, Amazon etc visit(At my time even Flipkart didn't come). Placement officer is of no use. Mostly students themselves have to try and get as many companies as possible. Hence, placements are a real problem here.

Very good placement of this college . Placement in maruti , honda , hcl, suzuki, hmt, abb, robotic india and etc. This is all I can say for my department. Students belonging to other courses can provide better reviews for their own departments. The exposure it provides is unparalleled and it provides you immense opportunities in what ever ares/field you are passionate about.

However, from what I've heard from my friends, who've been generous enough to narrate their experiences to me, the lack of proper equipment isn't a problem that's restricted to Video Film Design.

Course was very good and curriculum and syllabus was also update. Course was upto date that for the students it was easy to get new jobs and to go for higher courses and exams. College provided special attention to all students especially in computer education and accounting skills.

College conducted examinations in very good way. But some times there will be not that much time for the improvement and study. As the college had good number of faculty it was done in a good way. Lab exams was a,so done perfectly. As the lab is equipped with modern instruments.

Various star nights, cultural events, public speaking seminars and technical fests are conducted from time to time. An annual college fest named AAGHAZ is conducted across 2 days with healthy participation and performances. Other colleges from the universities and regions are invited to participate and thus creating an interaction platform for the students.

Standard exams practices are conducted in the college with term and university exams. Mst's are conducted every month in a semester and frequent tests are held to keep in check the performance of students. A viva and labs exams are conducted along with. The stress on the student is not extreme but moderate to ease in excelling in the field chosen.

As this is new college so this year our first batch got passed out. Approx everyone got placed. The companies were like Tata and Mahindra. Salary was not that good but its ok what you expect from a new university and its first batch.salary that they get is around 15k to 25k.

Approx all the festival are celebrated in campus itself. Management provide good infrastructure for that and they spent a good amount on that. There is annual fest also in which they call some famous celebrities, last year Raftaar performed in our college.

It enables the students to handle live and recorded news situations.The program control gallery is equipped with state-of-the-art special effects vision mixer, sound booth for voice recording, audio console, high-end digital video recorder for live audio-video inserts and online monitoring facilities.The floor area also has an installed news presentation and interviewing facility with four Sony cameras on dolly mounts to ensure a variety of camera positions. Advanced microphones with optional directionality have also been installed.

Induction in media and allied industries are based on portfolios and merit. Campus placements in both print and visual media have gained momentum, thanks to the proliferation of new channels, dailies and magazines seen in the recent years and career opportunities in new and upcoming streams like marketing communications, web communications and animation.The School works with advertising agencies, newspaper publishing houses, the animation and graphic design industries, PR agencies, television news / entertainment channels, TV program production houses, corporate and visual communications departments for campus placements. there is 100 percent placement .

Placements in our college were excellent. We had companies like Delloid, Amdocs, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Sony Ericsson etc coming for Campus Placements. Each company first gave a presentation of placement process and then there interview rounds. In MNC's like Accenture for which I was selected there were a total of 102 students placed and they offered a package of 3 lakh per annum.

We had to fill a separate form for each college and also a Cap round form. I got selected for this college in the first round itself. Then we had to fill a separate admission form for the college you are selected in and pay the fees which I did. Since I was a diploma holder, I was directly admitted to second year. The admission process was smooth and there were no hiccups.

The department offers B.Tech program in Mechanical Engineering. At present the department intake capacity is 180 students per year in the B.Tech level. The department has competent and committed faculty members drawn from industry, practicing professionals and academicians to enhance the delivery of academic programs.The department has evolved a comprehensive student-centric learning approach, designed to add significant value to the learner's understanding in an integrated manner through workshops, lab sessions, assignments, training, seminars, projects and independent study. The hands-on training offered our CAD/CAM training in latest design software brings in a formal method of familiarizing with the industrial practices helps the students to apply their class room knowledge to live industrial situations.

Placements at Amrita have always been excellent.students who are eligible and opt for placements have more than one job offer, on an average. Exercising their dream option, some of them have upto three job offers.The average salary across all campuses is INR 4.0 lakhs per annum. Number of offers per student is 2.20 (i.e., 3668 placements offers for 1754 students placed). The highest salary package paid is INR 17.00 lakhs per annum by Roadrunnr.

Secured admission through CAP rounds that were held for admissions to the course. Firstly we had filled the forms online and opted for colleges, later list of colleges were assigned to us where we are eligible for admissions.

Our college did not provide any internship while my academics. We had done GATE assistantship as a part of Gate Scholarship. Based on the work, performance and assessments we were given AICTE approved GATE stipend.

I have taken JEE Mains . I got a rank of 5255 air, I want to join IIT but due to some reasons i could not make it so i thought of giving another attempt to IIT but my mains rank was good so i thought if i could get good college through mains rank i would like to join that college.

The admission is done by CSAB (central seat allocation board) it takes our JEE main rank and conducts online choice filling. After that we get college and branch as per our choice order. Then we have to report to the nearest verification centre for the certificate verification.

Banking recruitment got 70% score and did not attend interview and did LL.B. Now practising in vishakhapatnam.

My two year stint with ASB was a very enriching experience. The management programme is broad-based and specialized in business education, which helped me to counter the conflicting situations in the business environment with elan and confidence. It has helped me to develop the basics of business methodology with integrity wherein I am able to apply the same in the day to day transactions and thereby leading an effective and qualitative performance. ASB has led the foundation of the ethics in management that has helped me build blocks of practical experiences which continues till date. Am grateful to the entire team of ASB for providing me such a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the first batch of ASB, Coimbatore.

Though MCA is trendy course but as per my perspective , they have to change the subject pattern and make it compatible with today market demand. As we know only basics but that is not enough to get good placement , for this either you join any institute or online classes. My view is modify course and bring s those things which are talk of town.

Well , i am greatly thankful to IGNOU . Though it is open university but all faculties are sincere and good mentor. I have many friends of other streams like B.tech and mca of other university but in terms of knowledge , i find myself a unique attitude that are credited goes to IGNOU members.

Most of the faculty in UIET is quite qualified and helpful. I've always got a high level of guidance from the teacher when it comes to creating my projects. On the other hand, there are very few inexperienced teachers too. Learning from these teachers is very challenging. But I really appreciate the effort they made to give their best to share the knowledge they have.

In the first round of admission, online applications were accepted. In this round, I wasn't able to secure a seat in UIET. During the final round, Chandigarh level admission process was conducted in Punjab Engineering College, in which I was able to get a seat in IT department of the college.

I had accompanied with my parents ,and there was a small personal interview and after that i followed the instructions of filling the form payment of the term fees etc and my seat was confirmed. The process was not complicated like many other colleges where lot of processes take place before one moves forward.

The course curriculum was good as all the faculty related to the course did their part well and were quite mature and taught well i personally felt that it was good and it was taught more on practical side hence was quite effective,if one had to look on the point of research then also i would say it good.
