The course is very vast .As by guiness book of records , architecture is the toughest course .And I agree with that .The course structure is good but compared to other states , not so satisfactory .We have many subjects like design ,construction and theory subjects as well ecology ,services which give us the overall learning exposure with practical as well as theoretical knowledge

Our college has an annual exhibition parishkriti .In which many architects are invited for their inputs and the whole yr work on the students us displayed in that exhibition .We have annual fest as well .And time to time seminars . As my college is a design college ,FD is also a course so time to time fashion shows also held

Notification was issued by institute immediately after the GATE results are announced. Sent filled-in admission for along with required certificates like proof of DoB, final degree obtained (provisional certificate) and GATE score. After scrutinizing the forms, institute called the short-listed candidates for written test at the institute. After conducting a written test, institute short-listed the top scoring candidates for admission into M.Tech program.

There were basically two events at the college. One is technical and another is cultural. Students from across the north east colleges attend these two events. Technical event involves some class room teachings, hacks and hands-on experiments such as robotics. While the culture festival involves dance, music etc.

First year is common course for all students, covering basics of Engineering viz, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Workshop studies, basic electrical knowledge, basic Programming knowledge, engineering drawings and much more. From second year It's different for all branches. For Information Technology, They teach logical building for coding, database, automata theory, digital electronics, cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence, Computer networks and much more.

First year faculty of Atharva is good and if you attend all lectures you will have enough knowledge of that subjects. But from 2nd year faculty for only IT is good, some of them are MSc or PhD, and they are ready to solve your doubts, help you. Moreover you will be having one mentor from your 2nd year and they will help you with your personal and educational problems.

Gender ratio is quite good and there is complete equality I would say.Girls do feel safe during day time and was little of a worry during night time considering the adjoining areas to the college. People from varied background come in college and gel up quite well without any discrimination. Students are tolerant and adjusting with regards to cast, religion and political differences or scenes.Parties are a rare scene except the fresher party. There should a culture of an organised fresher party which is lacking currently. Also the same for the farewell party. Cultural activities do take place and a group for the same is present and anyone can be a part of it. Campus life could be more better with improved infrastructure like hangout places in campus where students can catch up and plan out cultural/informational activities. Overall an average to good experience.

Course was good but should be more practical oriented with latest technology in line with industry trends. Students should get more exposed to coding practice and not just copy code from the internet. Practicals should be made more interesting. More focus should be given on logic development with the help of practical assignments. Electives in final year were cloud computing, software architecture,etc which were relevant with industry standards.

Campus life is very good and it will be way better since the start of the college you will be in a position to have a good frnds since each and every persons try to seek a frnd like you and there will not be any gender ratio anywhere and labs are excellent and you can participate in various extra curricullar activities and various curricullar activites lectureres are always within you in this context

Tbe course structure is well planned as it is planned before the starting of the semester they are well organized in a definite pattern that even students and lecturers are happy with that and have class woth better understatnding and good ability of teaching and giving assignments and proving internal marks is a crucial part of it

Highly recommended on this part to our institution bcoz in all aspects I give good thumbs up. I learned so many within given provisional records of there knowledge on these issues going around us nowadays. Have got enough knowledge and manageable and make to understand others

Till now there is no such things happend. Politics and economic status is there. Voting happened every year conducted by election committee for college presidents. Work culture is great. Things happen usually very fast no delay in anything which is requested by the students

Through government seat allotment. Government provides seats for college. Management quota is also there for students not alloted through governmnet seat allotment. Nothing is done by college. Xomplete process of getting admission is on the hands of government. After getting alloted going to college and complete admission process. College will give their form of about 1000 rps to fulfil through computer. Bank is also in college. Fees is directly given to the bank.

Events are celbrated in our college in between january and february. So i am not experienced about the event held by college. Dj night is also celebrated in the month between september and october. College students also provide picnoc for students. Events completes in 1 day. Big event takes place about 1 week. Food stalls are also placed. Nawab juice, graduate vadapao, etc stalls are placed. Students enjoy that day.

Formal semester based written tests along with oral Viva and practical tests for the major courses, i.e F&b, kitchen, housekeeping and front office. EXmas are not that difficult if classes are followed dilligently. There are some non major subjects too like hotel engineering, account's and food nutrition etc which are mostly theory based which means long essay type answers during exams. The practical tests are fun and stressful at the same time..almost like the masterchef kitchen! Not only you have to get everything perfect while working alone or in groups of 4, you have to have the top grooming standards, get your equipment right and be dressed in uniform.

The admission advertisements are published in major newspapers around mid year..and forms are available online on IHM website or through state & national banks. You have to fill up the form, submit it along with a Demand Draft of around 1200 INR. Please do some research on the nature of work/viability of professional career choices before taking the jump..as though outwardly glamorous, it is one of the most hard working and long working hours kind of sector. The college administration is quite smooth functioning, though a bit too formal & rigid( like most government sector enterprises).

I applied for online counselling conducted by ptu by merit i got admission in the first counselling and then i took my documents on the appointed date and filled the registration form and fees i was registered in the college after the verification of documents.govement college hav more oppotunties than private colleges and hav well furnihed labs

Exam is setup the ptu jalandhar the level off exam is low infact poor graded but the faculty is active with the monthly tests and practicals.engineering is not every bodies cup of tea there are some standard time planned for everywork those are quick learner always find the standard time more than sufficient and feel hectic and bored afterwards

On days you dont feel like attending classes you can always go to the main campus where you can find a great crowd and a cafe to chill you out. There is no interference of faculty members in students life outside class. The crowd is widely diverse as about 30 to 40 percent of students are from foreign countries. The girls to boys ratio is almost equal. There is a facility for gym within the campus and also a room for playing table tennins which can be accessed from 9 to 5. There is a lack of sports and related activities within the campus but they do have a ground near the campus where students can go for playing sports. The university is free from any political interference of any kind. There is high intolerance for any kind of inequality or sexual abuse. There is a community within the campus consisting of university faculty that looks after any inequality or abuse. The hostel doesnt allow any dorm parties but the students can always throw some parties every once in a while by letting the warden know so and assuring no mess will be made. No workshops for business students.

The notification was being telecasted on the local news channel and also a pamphlet was delivered everyday with the newspaper. And thats where i got the wind of the university. It was infancy when i took admission so not a lot of people knew about it.I called on the number that had been provided and asked about the fee structure, they were reluctant to tell anything on phone and asked me to visit the university. So i wnet to the university. At the reception they made me fill a form in which there were a few questions asking 10th and 12th marks, school name, stream i wanna opt, how i got to know about the university and had i visited any other universities before going there. There was a guy who explained me the entire admission process and the fee structure. Prior to admission he gave me a complete tour of the university. He showed me the campus, the classrooms, mess, hostel , cafe, gym, etc.

There were a lot of technical, cultural and sports festival to keep us entertained throughout the year. These are discussed below The Annual Sports & Athletics Meet: It was the annual sports event of the year. The students were able to perform throughout various events such as Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Hockey, Table-tennis, Athletics, Chess and so on. Ojass: This is the mail technical event of the college. It is the biggest technical event held in North India among the collages. Among the several events the notable events were Circuit house, Silicon vally etc Culfest: The annual cultural fest of NIT Jamshedpur. This is the most festive and exciting festival as the students are engaged in various custural events. Annual Alumni Meet: This is the event where pass-out and current students are gathered to interact between pass outs and current students.

On late July I received my offer letter of a full-free scholarship by ICCR to study B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering in National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur. After my acceptance of the offer the Indian high commission gave me a visa to peruse my studies. After my departure from Bangladesh i directly reported to ICCR Kolkata branch and they ensured my admission letter to my college. I had also received a three month scholarship allowance in order to be settled in my college. Then i arrived at NIT Jamshedpur and the college authority took care of my admission and my hostel residence.

By filling the form, Application sent to head office at chandigarh. It is quite nice facility that if anybody desires about status of application, one can call admission office referring application form. then I was called for councelling on the basis of passing marks, then after interview, In interview it was quite friendely interview. Student who was interviewd first time, but no hesitation in replying any query. I was called for taking admisstion.

Campus life is attractive. Instutute had given equal facilities. extra sports and debate extra robotics and publication of best lectures and innovations. it can be categorized as above average. Gender ratio is 40:60 g:b. Overall discipline is good, Administration may be put in strict to administrate students. Parents are kept in regular touch with the help of CHALKPAD and communication.

entrance exam form was released in the month of march on the official website of AMU. entrance exam was held in the last week of April. after getting shortlisted for the admission i got a call letter for the counselling. which took place in the month of JUNE. it was a 2 day procedure on first day you just have to report. and on the second faculty no. enrolment will be alloted and document verification took place. and the entire procedure ends with the allotment of the hostel.

In AMU you will get every thing you want in your 4 year term of engineering course. campus itself is too large to roam. different sports clubs are present like cricket club football club skating swimming etc. and if you are intrested in singing or writting or public speaking or acting then AMU also have a space for this activities like AMU drama club litrary club, hindustani or classical music club etc

We have different cultural societies like western and indian dance society. We also have dramatic societies . We have a fair amount of student diversity and students from all around the country and the globe comprise of the student strength. There are no bias against the ethinicity ,race,religion and sexual orientation,politics or economic status of any student ,staff etc. There is a zero tolerance for ragging in the college and such acts are punishable. Extra curricular activities are also plenty. We have our debating, quiz societies.we also have gandhi and vivekanand society. There is western and classical singing societies too . There is many workshops organised by these societies throughout the year. The college also has an army all girls ncc wing. We also have basketball and tennis ground as well as well equipped gym. We also have several martial arts training too. Yoga camps are organised on daily basis. The sports room is well equipped. Every department(science) has its own lab with attendants and is well equipped with needed appratus . We also have a three story building solely created as a library with well stocked books. The washrooms are also kept neat and clean and we have green environment with laws and flowers. Our gardens and lawns are one of the most beautiful in north campus. We also have a recycling plant which makes recycled paper. Variety of trees can be found around the campus. The college building is an heritage building and is well maintained by the college authorities. Our principal makes sure that our college has an interactive and healthy environment for students.

I checked online on du website for different cutoffs of colleges and found that i was eligible for my college. The forms were given in a window outside the main building for which volunteers were there for help. After it we were asked to go to a certain room Assigned for my course where my required certificates like mark sheets, migration cert. etc were checked and % were calculated by teachers. We were then asked to go to out computer room to fill out online college forms after which our form was printed and sent to be signed by the principle. After this we were asked to go to the auditorium for rechecking of our originals with their photocopies. After this we were again sent to a room to submit our originals and the main application form with our personal details in it . After this, we were asked to submit our fees for the year and we were given our fee receipt. After this our digital photos and signatures were taken and our identity card was given to us. The process was lengthy.

I took the exam after a notification was released by WNS Global servuves pvt limited.The exam consituted of two papers . Paper 1 was of mathematics of graduate level and Paper 2 was of aptitude. Two hours of exam for both the papers. Both were objective in nature. After qualifying the exam we were called for interview where we sent through two steps - group discussion and personal interview. Interview board consisted of three persons who were subject matter experts. After all this procedure a final merit list was made. The merit consisted of 47 people. Then we had our joining on 22nd of July 2016 where the rest of the registration process was done

College has various events conducted ranging from movie week to quizes on a speciak topic. On each festival our college is decorated with the cultural symbols. We have ethnic dress days where we have to show up in ethnic dresses. We have frequent trips to Delhi whenever there is something important happening which is of student interest like the book fair at pragati maidan. We have an event called TALF where asian countries get together to discuss issues pertaining to ASIA

well when i stepped out of my school life i looked for so many colleges in north india because my family wanted me join the college in the north india only.so i came delhi and one of my fathers friend told me about this university. then i searched a lot of stuff like fees structure , scholarship , university placement portals. and finally joined in 2013. i basically gave no specific examination ..at our time they just took those students who have a score more than 70% in 12th. after that they interviewed me and asked me a lot of questions about my course which is mechanical engineering.i took ME because i always have a keen interest in cars and automobiles ..i am very curious to learn about engines, suspension systems, transmission systems so that was the motivating factor for me .

there is no gender inequality in this university. campus life is awesome ..there is no doubt about that . its a huge universities with different people around the country with great diversity. its a range of different people from every corner of the country. i joined so many clubs like robotics club, sports clubs, debate clubs which always engaged me in extra curricular activities. sports competition is held by sports clubs in the respective department. sangathan is also there in which various universities participate.

Okay okay faculty Faculty belives in tit for tat Specially during viva and submissions Never a student friendly faculty You will always be having fights with 1-2 faculty Even the lab incharges are too dramatic here More scenarios created by them only You can say "chai se jyada ketki garam hai" Faculty behaves kiddish If you are of their same caste then its lottery for you!! And kutchi gujaratis its a nightmare for them

Exams are every 6 months held by university i.e semester pattern You have vivas term work practicals and writing papers Term work and writing papers comprises of 100 marks in total 80 for writing papers and 20 for termwork Writing papers go on for month long Vivas are week long And practicals are 2-3 subjects per semester You have two unit tests as well.

Management wont admit their mistake at any cost. They would do anything and accuse you for any wrong that has happened. Management is not co operative. If you can stay in a stressful emvironment then you can join this college.

I wrote EAMCET exam and i got 78 marks. I opted for this particular college because it used to have good faculty and placents for mechanical branch along with ece,cse,it.it also has good infrastructure.
