Faculty was very helpful their teachings are so easy that we are able to understand the topic easily if we are having any problem, they are always ready to help and guide us any time professors are highly qualified and experienced. there is also opportunity to M.Pharma students to get in teaching line sometimes they took our classes if professors are not there they are also good.

Fee structure was very good and manageable as it was under delhi university a poor child can also manage to study in our college and can fulfill their dreams of becoming a druggist i have paid 7500 annually for 1 year there is exam fees of rps 200 each subject there is 3 semesters total in one year so each semester costs 2500 fees you can pay one time or in installments.

At our time I paid 1.35 lacs per annum including everything which is tution fee, library fee, Mess fee, hostel fee.we used to feel it expensive but then we never regretted out decision to study there with a college built in such a beautiful place with nature all over the places alongside river Teesta its a all together a different life you live there which worth spending such money and you come out from there with precious engg degree in your hand!at the end the decision is yours if you can afford you should try and study there if you aspire to be an Engineer you should be good at Maths what I can say is you will not regret the decision of studying at Sikkim Manipal Institute of technology.

There is very good course structure. they designed the syllabus in the manner like core department studied some software paper because if student not getting placed in core sector then they are easily go in the software sector. In my department some software paper such as C programming, DBMS,JAVA are in syllabus . and some other paper like EVS, organizational behaviour are in the syllabus, which helps students to getting good marks in examination.

Everday labs of different subject occurs every week surprise test and every month mid Sam test occurs lab frequency is very high every day 2 lab will occur in this college lab and exam and attendance takes very much importance I think this is unique features which made this university excellent.

As I said earlier placement is good many companies come in this university about 425 companies came last year 5000 total placement occurs which I think this is a record average package is around about 4 lacks in each and every steam it has unique joint placement program which is very helpful.

Its a very good course and there is a lot of opportunities with this course as one can go to the judicial as well as in corporate sector also. This subject offers you the exposure of the society and the things which are prevailing in the society. The college gives the task to write and share our view in very thing which is going throughout the society. Recently the ban on currency our college has said us to write our views and it should be both the positive as well as the negative of the ban on the currency.

Yes, if we talk about our seniors they are very helpful in nature. Its not only the studies in which they are helpful but they are also helpful in the matter of internship. Seniors provide us the correct information about the question which are important and which have the maximum probability to come in the examination. In this college all professor are highly educated and all professor are qualified NET and GATE exam the college is higher specialist subject teacher in the field biotechnology, biochemistry, cell biology, bioprocess engineering, enzymology, tissue culture, animal biotechnology, recombinant DNA technology, immunology, microbiology etc.

The exam structure is a semester wise in this semester the three exam in one subject first exam mid term, second exam is a practical exam,and third is a final exam the final exam is a external exam and first and second exam is a internal exam the first exam is 20 number, practical 30 number and final 50 number.

The mideterm examinations are conducted in the middle of each semester so that students can understand whether they have learned enough or not. It becomes very easy for teachers to assess the progress of the students and according the remedial actions are initiated. The final semester examination is conducted according to a predefined calender of events which is published at the beginning of every academic year. The results are declared earliest possible and the failed students are given with the second opportunity for improvement. As far as these all examinations are concerned, the fee structure is feasible and worth of what we get from the institute.

The MoU with many research organizations and industries in and outside the country are allowing us to apply for the internship. Many of our student friends have completed their internships at IITs and a few are pursuing their research work at foreign universities like UTP Malaysia. The students of SGGS are supported with the stipend according their admissions under the programs such as QIP, TEQIP and Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme etc. The stipend is given as per the norms of funding agency of Govt. of India. Campus life is ultimate and memorable till end of my life gender ratio was little bit. Ok diversity is there not a problem other extra curricular activities are very well placed boys used to celebrate each one's birthday as a festival and play night cricket tournaments in hostel. College represents all the sports under university level.

Lab should be improve a bit. Student unaware of how things happen in computer systems. If something happen, They will have a fear. So clearly students don't want to go out and explore new things. In my opinion, They should go beyond syllabus. They should get access to use Google and provide them some tips to tackle things properly.

IIT Kharagpur has festivals like Spring Fest, Kshitij. Spring Fest, the annual socio-cultural fest of IIT Kharagpur is the largest student managed socio-cultural fest of Asia. It is held in January. IIT Kharagpur organises a techno-management festival known as Kshitij. It is the biggest techno-management festival of Asia with a total budget of more than 15 million and a total prize money worth Rs 5 million. An annual techno-management festival organised in January or February, it receives participation from foreign universities as well. Events include technical workshops, seminars, and competitions.

Course curriculum of Biotech is very good. it starts with basic biology like microbiology, cell biology and biochemistry. We also have some syllabus of maths like differential calculus , probability and statistics. Overall, curriculum is quite good and interesting. Scope of biotechnology in Research field is too much. People who are interested in this branch can do lot good.

Our classes commences from 9 in the morning and ends at 4p.m. We have 6 classes daily. If we have to talk about activities we are always engaged with many activities like poster presentation, debates, quiz etc our class tests of each subject will be after every module completion and we will be having three internal assessment before external examination and assignments will be given on regular basis.

I had written COMED-K examination in which my rank was about 16742 i had attended the first round of counselling in which i had to choose college name and branch in the form there were three columns containing college name and branches respectively, so i chose acharya institute of technology as my first priority and in this college i chose electronics and communication.

Till now I have had the experience in this college. Gender ratio is 3:2 and students are from cast and communities. Although being a Gujarati minority college it is not empowered by the Gujaratis. Students from all economy class can be seen in this college but there is no diversification based on economic status. The labs are well furnished,spacious and always up to date with latest equipments. There are many committees conducting various types of competition like quizzes like Harry potter quiz etc., debates, e-cell lectures for budding entrepreneurs and football competitions. The e-cell lectures were not only good for those who want to be entrepreneur but for every student.

Trinity is the fest that is celebrated by Dwarjadas J. Sanghavi College and is one of the best technical fest of the colleges that comes under Mumbai University. Students from various colleges comes to attend and take part in the evsnts. The fest is organised and managed mainly by students of the college. Members of different committees of the college organize competitions and events in this fests and prize is also given to the winner of the event. It becomes possible to organise such fests because of the active participation of students and faculty.

Placements is very poor in our school, the reason behind this is poor management of corporate relationship by the placement team. The recruitment head acted more like a broker, if somebody would get placed he would ask for costly liquor. There was a company named Orchid Pharma which was to come for placements, which was offering a good package and good profile. The company did not turn up and there was no justification on the reason. I was aiming for that company which would fetch me Rs 6 lakh per annum. However i had to get placed on my own and i started at a salary of Rs 1.8 lakh per annum.

In classroom you will never feel you are in old govt college with same old boring teaching methodology. Faculties are highly qualified and very much interactive. They always observe discipline in their conduct and impart the same to the atmosphere of classroom and campus. They encourage student to be innovative in their field. Research is main focus for faculties and some of them have published hundreds of international papers. Institute also provide consultancy service which help faculty to have on field real time problems exposure and can provide their expertise to mega projects.

Exam structure is quite hectic. You will have at least one set of exam every month, with two minors, mid exam and Finals in span of 4 month of semester. Minors consist of 10% each. with 30% marks for mid exam and 50% for finals. Its a deemed university so your faculty will only prepare your exam paper, decides dates for minors and you can see your evaluated answer sheet providing transparent system for examination. It has grading system, so your CGPA/SGPA will depend on relative performane with normal distribution.

Our cultural society was very strong and very active. We had various societies like Drama Society , Music Societies, Fashion Societies, Dance societies, sports societies and Individual department societies. I was a part of our History Department Society , Fashion Society and Dance society. We organised various in-house cultural event and inter - college as well. Our Principal and Professors were enthusiastic participants as well and always encouraged various cultural and sport events.
