I admission in the electrical engineering i choose this stream according my interest. And in the college electrical department is good. There are good faculty in electrical engineering department. There is good practical library. And lecturer are very helpful for the student. A cool environment of study is available here.

In the college many festivals and cultural program performed in the year and there are many techno event organized for the student to clear the students there is cultural program are- sakshma that performed and it is 5 day program in which games technical event, sports and cultural program organized.

Fee structure at our time was 660000 that was little expensive because they showed that the business suit they provided with of 20000 but it was not worth of rs 3000 also they provided with laptoos sony vaio which were discontinued so i found it on my end if you will compare it with placements if you get nice package it is justified and if you don't then it is not.

Placement and job opportunities are good but their are no companies that come for marketing mostly comes for sales and finance. Philips, dabur, amazon big companies do come to our college and they have to maintain their pay level so they pay good but what i found wrong was 420 was the strength of our batch so more of rubbish companies came with very low packages.

With reference of teacher and on my polytechnic score. The teacher of this college help me to get admission in this college. They are very help full for me .and very sweet nature of them.

The faculty of college its best for student. And they are friendly in nature. The faculty is very qualified . The teaching method of the lecturers are very good.

course curriculum is good, exams are conducted almost every 15 days and average marks all the conducted exams will be your internal marks, strict internal marks. Efficient staff are there in the college and they are punctual and students are forced to maintain 80% of attendance, else they will be asked for the reason of attendance shortage, parents are called.

Annual days are conducted and IT Fests are conducted and as the college has good ground , we have sports events every quarter and It fests are conducted with the help of placement cell. Alumni happens once in a year. There are many instances where people from different popular IT companies will come and give the guidance in order to succeed in placements.

Gender ratio for mechanical is like hardly 2 or 4 girls in class, there's is no student council in college, since it is a Muslim college majority of the students are Muslim, but there is no such things like ragging or anything in college , u will not face any kind of harassment by faculty or any other student in the college.

College festival is very good it goes by the name jashn E Theem it is a inter college event but , since college is far away from Mumbai nly few college participate in these event however it is fun , 5 days of college are most fun in the entire year events like robowar , robotics and such other events including LAN gaming.

Courses are same in the strating of the engg measns in 1st year there is single course which cover by all engg branches students so there is nothing specific in 1st year for any individual but after 1st year i found my subjects which is 90% related to mechanical subjects and remain 10% is cover my math and management subject so all in all its a good structure to move forward without any more pressure cause in 3rd semester there is 4 subject related to my branch and 2 are math and mgt subject so i feel its a good to go with this structure and this is remains till the 4th year just in 3rd year subject is replaced by internship presentation and all and in 4th year its a subject which name is project which is very crucial for all student so its a good structure of subject.

Firstly when i prepare for my 12th board exams then i found a notification by UPSEE for the engg entrances for which i wait alot and at the time i take a form fill that and post that after that i give exam and then i cleared that and through councilling process in 1st round i lock lots of name but mait is locked 3rd and i get it so then i take admission by pay all the fees of that year and alot a hostel also.

I am a student of department of mechanical engineering and this is a core course. As this college is an autonomous college, everything is set up and done here itself. If I have to say about the faculty and department the are really good and helping. This department provides you with all the facilities that you should get as a mechanical student. The exam patterns are also good and help you to improve.

Events celebrated in my college- Udbhav(yearly fest which is held in every even semester of an year in which a lot of activities and events happen and competitions between different colleges) Entrepreneurship development week(this event happens every year so as to provide information and motivate people about entrepreneurship) Several department fests and seminars sports day.

Gender Ratio is very healthy, it differs from department to department. for instance the Biotech depart will have a higher number of girls and so it is for boys in case of Mechanical engineering. There are lots of parties that goes around the year. There are two important University fest, Technical fest named, DAKSH and cultural fest named KURUKSASTRA that is well attended my colleges all over the country. We have lots of people coming from all parts of the country, from Andhra, Telangana, a great number of North Indians students as well throng the campus. Needles to say there are great number of students from all over Tamil Nadu. There is no problem with tolerance of any kind... everyone are really good natured we have people from all ethnicity, political and religion status. Almost everyone are straight. Economic status, the University caters mainly for merit and so a great number of students from the Middle class background come here. With respect to labs we have some of the World class labs and facilities to explore all the skills for the students.

The regular lab would be a part of the weekly schedule, which is considered to normal the university follows Semester pattern with 3 internal exams out of which two of the best scores are considered for internal marks and final semester exam generally each semester there would be around 6 subjects so the internal exams would last for 3 days with two exams a day. this would be a exam for 90 minutes final semester exams are generally well spaced with study leaves in between, which would be for 3 hours.

Faculty was very helpful their teachings are so easy that we are able to understand the topic easily if we are having any problem, they are always ready to help and guide us any time professors are highly qualified and experienced. there is also opportunity to M.Pharma students to get in teaching line sometimes they took our classes if professors are not there they are also good.

Fee structure was very good and manageable as it was under delhi university a poor child can also manage to study in our college and can fulfill their dreams of becoming a druggist i have paid 7500 annually for 1 year there is exam fees of rps 200 each subject there is 3 semesters total in one year so each semester costs 2500 fees you can pay one time or in installments.

At our time I paid 1.35 lacs per annum including everything which is tution fee, library fee, Mess fee, hostel fee.we used to feel it expensive but then we never regretted out decision to study there with a college built in such a beautiful place with nature all over the places alongside river Teesta its a all together a different life you live there which worth spending such money and you come out from there with precious engg degree in your hand!at the end the decision is yours if you can afford you should try and study there if you aspire to be an Engineer you should be good at Maths what I can say is you will not regret the decision of studying at Sikkim Manipal Institute of technology.

Its very tough, Practicals, projects, Seminars are very well taken care of SMIT will make you realize studying Engineering is not any cake walk however you will definatly feel proud by the end of 4 years! Engineering is all about research practicals doing live demo and this is exactly what Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology does they really focus on the stuff as much as they focus on theories the core structure is very systematically arranged which is semester passing by hold on your subject keeps getting stronger becoming semester is linked with previous semester course structure is managed in Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology.

You can enjoy the college life as far as you don't mess up with management. There are controversial thoughts on rules. Guys, in a cosmopolitan campus like NSEC, it is hard to balance the rules between Bengali and Bihari. If you compare campus life with other private colleges, then NSEC is gonna be a very good. Yeah, there are controversies' on gender discrimination. But, it's all for our security. After all, parents feel safe to send their daughter to NSEC. No more views on this topic.Management seems to be tough. Especially for every damn singe thing to be done, you have shed your weight. We are indians, and this might be training to live as indians. Though there might be tough time in dealing with all the tests(quizes, cats and tee), you will enjoy for sure through events by many clubs and chapters. How come my answer gets complete without mentioning about clubs and chapters? Yeah, there are many clubs and chapters, which varies from rocket science to dancing, artificial intelligence to cooking. Be a part of it, and get most out of it.

There is very good course structure. they designed the syllabus in the manner like core department studied some software paper because if student not getting placed in core sector then they are easily go in the software sector. In my department some software paper such as C programming, DBMS,JAVA are in syllabus . and some other paper like EVS, organizational behaviour are in the syllabus, which helps students to getting good marks in examination.

Everday labs of different subject occurs every week surprise test and every month mid Sam test occurs lab frequency is very high every day 2 lab will occur in this college lab and exam and attendance takes very much importance I think this is unique features which made this university excellent.

As I said earlier placement is good many companies come in this university about 425 companies came last year 5000 total placement occurs which I think this is a record average package is around about 4 lacks in each and every steam it has unique joint placement program which is very helpful.

First of all i came here with my rank card and then we know that our branch name and then i got provisional letter from college and then i have payed 600000 rupee to get admition in this college now i am in mechanical engineering ist year and we are doing very well

I got 8342 rank in wbjee 2016 and then i got addmition in this college this very nice collge but there no campus for playing cricket and footballs

Its a very good course and there is a lot of opportunities with this course as one can go to the judicial as well as in corporate sector also. This subject offers you the exposure of the society and the things which are prevailing in the society. The college gives the task to write and share our view in very thing which is going throughout the society. Recently the ban on currency our college has said us to write our views and it should be both the positive as well as the negative of the ban on the currency.

Yes, if we talk about our seniors they are very helpful in nature. Its not only the studies in which they are helpful but they are also helpful in the matter of internship. Seniors provide us the correct information about the question which are important and which have the maximum probability to come in the examination. The senior are also helpful in providing the internship, like you have not applied for any internship they use to ask under whom they are doing their internship and places us.

Gender ratio will be equal. Big ground is there. Students can get amenities from the sports room and play whenever free. Many competitions such as ccricket, football, Mehendi, Rangoli, singing, dancing will be held and prizes will be distributed on Cultural Day. Debates and Essay competitions were not so popular however few workshops on Robotics were conducted. For 6th/7th sem students special workshops will be conducted to prepare students for campus recruitment.

Through CET counselling. Karnataka Education Board conducts state level PU examination. After that a common entrance examination will be conducted. Your PCM(physics+chemistry+mathematics) marks in PU exam and PCM marks obtained in CET exam will be clubbed and a ranking will be announced. Depending upon your ranking u'll be allowed to choose the colleges and the suitable one will be allotted to you.

Hella India Automotive Pvt Limited selected 4 students from EXTC department with a average package of 3.5 lpa. Also Johnson Controls took nearly 4 students with average package of 3.5 lpa. Recently Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) took 189 students from our campus placement drive and they offered approx 3.33 lakhs per annum to every student. Our college provides Central Sector Scholarship for students having more than 80% marks. Students applying for this Scholarship get benifit of Rs.10000 per year. This scholarship provides financial support for students. who are really in need of it due to poor financial conditions.

In this college all professor are highly educated and all professor are qualified NET and GATE exam the college is higher specialist subject teacher in the field biotechnology, biochemistry, cell biology, bioprocess engineering, enzymology, tissue culture, animal biotechnology, recombinant DNA technology, immunology, microbiology etc.

The exam structure is a semester wise in this semester the three exam in one subject first exam mid term, second exam is a practical exam,and third is a final exam the final exam is a external exam and first and second exam is a internal exam the first exam is 20 number, practical 30 number and final 50 number.

The mideterm examinations are conducted in the middle of each semester so that students can understand whether they have learned enough or not. It becomes very easy for teachers to assess the progress of the students and according the remedial actions are initiated. The final semester examination is conducted according to a predefined calender of events which is published at the beginning of every academic year. The results are declared earliest possible and the failed students are given with the second opportunity for improvement. As far as these all examinations are concerned, the fee structure is feasible and worth of what we get from the institute.

The MoU with many research organizations and industries in and outside the country are allowing us to apply for the internship. Many of our student friends have completed their internships at IITs and a few are pursuing their research work at foreign universities like UTP Malaysia. The students of SGGS are supported with the stipend according their admissions under the programs such as QIP, TEQIP and Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme etc. The stipend is given as per the norms of funding agency of Govt. of India. Overall, all the students are happy about the research facilties, expert guidance and encouraging research environment and culture of the institute.

The campus life and the gender ratio is quite usual here and nothing special. There are several kinds of labs here and experimentation's are done in details to help students understand better. Apart from that, there are several workshops help for robotics, debates, even theatre and all to help the students grow further.

This fee is common for all category candidates. No tuition fee is charged from SC/ST candidates. They have to pay University fee and Development fee only.
