To get Admission, one needs to clear the Aptitude test and the Personal Interview which hold a weight age of 60-40 respectively. The Aptitude test this year consisted mainly of maths and a bit of Mental ability as well. Probability was given importance in the test. There were many fundamental concepts also which were tested out in the exam.

The course is a bit expensive it costs more than 30Lakhs for 5 years when all expenses are factored in. However the return on investment is very high with respect to fields like engineering. Fess has to be paid in installments every year. The first 3 years cost around 13 Lakhs and the last two years is standard PGP costs.

The best college ever in i have ever studied. The faculties are really very supportive and the staff all are really appreciable with the efforts that they take to make the student understand some certain topics and specially i loved the GUSTO festival. If you ever get invited go and visit the college. I really miss my college days and specially MR SHIVENDU BHUSHAN sir he was really very commendable with the work and the efforts handling the staff. Hats of for the efforts sir.

As i mentioned above, the course structure was really very good as they used to teach us with the help of projector if required and also there were seminars once in a week. And all the staff used to get behind each student whether he understood or not. So in short the coaching staff were really commendable with the efforts to make the student understand the course.

I try to focus in my collage lecture , then i re-read at my home and i go in tuition classes it's name is synopsis. this classes is very best. so i go in this classes . they teach at morning so i first go tuition and then i go for a collage .and last at home i revised all study which i study in that day.

First during half of semester take mst(mid semester test) which in mst have 30 marks 20 +10 in which 20 mark for exam and 10 marks for ppt. when u take 12 above mark then u pass either take other exam then after the semester gtu take exam for 70 marks in this exam pass for 23 marks.

I apply for degree in pvkn i got sheet based on my inter exam marks and also i got sheet in B.Sc maths admission s is based on merit of applied students in various groups it is done by principal along with hods of different subjects and many of student got sheet only on their academic marks only also some students got based on their extra curriculum activities.

It is as government norms also some sheets r give as management sheets also we are all pay 25000 per anuam also we have additional exam fee and books fee practical fee and internship fee also we pay bus fee also examination fee in exam also fee will increase year by year according to govt norms also we pay fee with indate.

The campus life was good. the gender diversity was good. with extracurricular activities debates and robotics were all present in the fest period.

Yes the Exams and lab was hectic as it was semester pattern and they had to finish the portion and lab in stipulated time..

From my point of view it is quite good as compared to other college, because faculties and examines are quite stick as compared to other to other college and exam patterns are quite good but if i talk about labs and practicals then faculties are not serious about practicals and lab practicals submitted by students are not even checked its very bad for a good students.

To get the admission in this institute, i worked very hard. I have scored good marks in 12th to get the admission after applying for the admission in this college i use to visit regularly to check the shortlist of the student who have selected for the admission. one day i was not able to visit college so, i told my friend to check whether my name is listed o not.

We enjoy all other time in our college except the weeks in which exams are held and we seriously do. Staying away from guardians does provide a lot of freedom. Hanging out with friends in the campus, sleeping in class, giving proxies, mass bunks, taking computer games seriously, in fact very seriously, watching movies throughout the day, waking up at noon, we even started watching soap operas, life here is completely different here we proudly say that we have not taken a bath for 7 or 10 days and the best part is students who have led a disciplined life throughout now begin feeling ashamed. I don’t know what we are doing is right or not but we are loving it.

Examination structure was good and we had internals every month and labs were conducted during study holidays. Visvesvaraya Technological University accomplished its primary task of setting a common syllabus across the state in 1998. The university revises the syllabus every four years keeping in view the technology upgrades around the world. The syllabus was revised in 2002, 2006 and 2010. In 2012, VTU announced that it would launch a 'first-of-its-kind' elective targeting railway stand metro technology as part of the civil, electrical and mechanical engineering courses.

It was comprehensive the curriculum is a mix of useful theory based and practical subjects. First year is about all basic subjects. They teach you basics of civil, electrical, electronic, computer, etc. You can expect good support from seniors and colleagues. Attendance is an important factor in getting you high overall marks. As you final result is based on both your performance in the written exams and practicals throughout the year. Make sure you are a regular student to get good sessional marks as this majorly affects your overall percentage for the year and eventually, your GPA.

They leave no tables unturned when it comes to both preparing you for placements and providing you a pool of companies to try to get into. TCS is the mass recruiter, so can be Syntel. But most companies that come in for this would be offering software jobs. So, you have to be very active to find about local placement events that have focussed placement for electrical, etc. Packages can vary from 3 lacs to 7 but can vary.

I passed 12th science with biology as major subject in march 2012.then i applied for GUJARAT COMMON ENTRANCE TEST and which includes physics ,chemistry and biology for 40 marks each .i secured 91% marks overall in HSC and then 90 out of 120 in GUJCET . then i filled form of centralized committee for professional medical courses and then i stood 872th in all over gujarat then i selected gmers medical vadodara as preferred as my native city college and also affillited The M.S. university of baroda ,vadodara.

Our culture has one of the state of art infrastructure offers very often hosting of so many medical conferences, CME, medical workshops, as well as medical seminars our college also takes part in government medical and health awareness programme and activity we actively participate in such activity we celebrate cultural festivals such as called UDAAN that is our yearly cultural programme we also celbrates all festivals like holi, ganesh utsav, navratri, diwali, christmas we hold student union election too.

I think that our college is the best to conduct events because we are celebrating many events . we celebrate all religious function as we have students studying from all over the state and religious, All the students even participate in all the events,we celebrate onam, diwali, christmas, holi, pongal, and also other functions and events like sand sculpting many more.

The Campus life is really good, there will not be any gender diversity all the boys and girls will be friendly, Thats the important thing as we are very friendly we will be helping each others, there will be many extracurricular activities conducted, there will gaming events, animation events and many more.

The procedure was very simple after the PGCET Examination, ranks were announced. Counselling based on PGCET Ranking which gave me an option to opt for the best college from the list of colleges. I had the option to select among TOP 10 colleges due to good ranking. I also got the prospectus from the college, visited the departments and gathered information regarding syllabus, scope for students and placement records. I was very happy to know about the opportunities galore for students in the campus, which included, student clubs, Student development programs, Scholarships, involvement of students in Research works along with faculties etc. I was also mesmerized with the huge Campus, Sports complex, Gymnasium, Canteens, state of the art Labs and classrooms and a very huge library.

Learners had galore of opportunities at PES. Student clubs involved in Cultural activities, most popular "Atmatrisha" and annual cultural event. A club for Student magazine, Sports, depatmental fests and competitions. We had organized an Inter-collegiate State-level IT fest "IT-Vedanta", the most wonderful experience on campus. We worked day and night for preparations, designing banners, brochures, inviting guests, framing events, planning schedule, getting sponsors (though college also sponsored the maximum chunk) etc.

The gender ratio in my class is a total mismatch. We have a ratio of 52:9 where the are 52 girls and 9 boys. Whereas overall the college has a pretty good gender ratio. Almost equal no. Of girls and boys. Though the college is full of South Indians we find North Indians as well but comparatively less in no. SIES is South Indian Education Society, so can't help with the majority. The campus is huge with and amazing canteen, cafeteria, parking space, spacious classrooms. There is no ragging in our college and the college authorities are pretty strict about this. The economic status of both the college and the students is good. We are not allowed to throw a Freshers party, though we do it unofficially anyway. Graduation day and fests are celebrated with full amusement.

The faculty is brilliant. They have a lot of knowledge to share. They don't teach you as teachers, they consider you your own kid and teach you so that you get good marks. They also take attendance very seriously. They encourage you to take part in extra cost curricular activities, but if your site's get affected by it then they might be the biggest hurdle of your life. They will hunt you down and you will have no option left other than to sit for lectures. They keep constant check on you. Though it might seem a little annoying but it is really important otherwise it actually becomes impossible to catch up with the portion.

Course curriculum is good for students point of view. in 1st year we have to study all the branch related subjects so that if i have to change my stream then i can do so easily provided i get 8.5 cgpa in first 2 semesters practicals and theory are well maintained In the first 2 years theories are more concentrated and in the last 2 years practicals are given more attention. The whole practical process including manuals, reading, analysis, and manual working is very good that gives us the written knowledge as well as necessary practical knowledge which is important. there is more emphasis on the practicals the chapters and lessons are somewhat useful or can say satisfactory because some chapters are those which i personally cant understand why it is included there is also a good thing that assignments are being given for major practice purposes(if not given in difficult situations).

Process is that i filled the WBJEE counselling form giving every necessary details and get a chalan of rs 500 from any bank.then college of my choice is filled according to the merit of the colleges in west bengal. which college i would get depend on the performance of mine in WBJEE exam i got 9961 rank and thus got nsec in mechanical(my choice).i got a provisional allotment first of DR BC ROY,DURGAPUR then i had to submit a application to WBUT (now MAKAUT)to upgrade my allotment. In the 2nd allotment i got NETAJI SUBHASH ENGINEERING COLLEGE and finally in the last allotment i got this college again after the completion of allotment procedure i have to go to college and take part in admission process and fill up the form and to verify documents.

Amity is different. That's because Amity opens its gates to people from all walks.. literally! You'll find meritorious candidates, and dumb idiots straight from the gates of hell. You'll find Indians, Brits and Africans. You'll find people from all castes, regions and religions. So Amity is a university of many colors. But does that mean it's tough to survive or focus here? NONSENSE. The only effect that the people have is the additional ability they give you in tackling different kinds of people, managing yourself and your team. You can learn a lot here that you can't learn at any IIT or NIT. That's because of this difference. Finally as far as placements or value building is concerned, let me tell you an interesting fact american Universities never feature placements! They never conduct on-campus interviews or placement functions to provide students with jobs they simply allow their graduates to visit job fairs after graduation where they can apply and then the interview takes place on-site of the company.

Again, a very debatable topic. Half the people at Amity are not capable of earning a job, which is why they blame the college. Cowards they are! :) For a non-IITian institute, the campus offers decent placements. Companies offer anything between 2 - 11 l.p.a. That is decent. If you are smart, you get a good package; otherwise, it’s your funeral. The CRC gives you about 8 months to appear in different companies (provided you have a six pointer and above, you are eligible to appear). I repeat, it is not necessary that the college offers opportunities for every branch. CS/IT and other engineering branches have it easier. But I can guarantee that the University gives you all the resources and qualities to develop yourself and earn yourself a job, even if it is off-campus. Engineers from CS/IT, ECE/EEE, Biotechnology have decent opportunities on campus also, though.

Placements for CSE and IT branches in NIT Raipur is very good, this year average package till now is above 6.20 LPA .Highest being above 17lpa and more companies coming with a package above 20lpa. Last year we had a average above 5.30 LPA, with highest package offered to be 22 LPA. This is much higher than many NITs 2 students of NIT Raipur also bagged off campus package of 75 LPA placement for IT and CSE is 100% from last 2 years and some student also had more than 1 job offers(Dream Jobs) with them.Average package is rising every year, with more (quantity) and better(quality) companies coming for campus hiring every year Internship opportunities for prefinal year students is also increasing rapidly every year we also have a very good record of foreign internships among NITs,last year students got intern in Germany,USA,Australia and Singapore. NIT Raipur is among top 10 NITs in terms of placement.

I am reading mechanical engineering in NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY RAIPUR. It is one of the excellent college in india. The course is well designed it starts from basic level and also have advance topics.The syllabus mainly includes Engineering mathematics , basics of physics chemistry electronics electrical computer engineering , basic and advance thermodynamics, strength of material, kinematics of machine industrial engineering ,operation research machine design robotics and power plant engineering the lab facilities and nice i along with 24 member made a off road vehicle.

Some or the other event will be happening everyday in our college. Our annual techno fest is called AATMATRISHA, it's pretty famous in Bangalore. It's well organised and promoted . Well renowned people are called for the fest for entertainment. People like sunidhi chauhan etc have come. There is SAMARPANA which felicitates soldiers etc. Independence day and republic day are celebrated. There are various clubs from each branch which organise events etc .There is AMATUEUR SCIENTIST for school students across the country. Students from every state turn up with their science projects for exhibition. There are many other competitions, events organised.

It's a good place to grow, showcase your talent. Lot of opportunities and encouragement is given.There are equal number of boys and girls in each Branch, except mechanical and civil.There is a lot of encouragement for sports and other extra curricular activities. They send students for different competitions in and around the state. There are competitions based on science , robotics etc.There is a debating society called MUN.Every one in the campus are treated equally. There is 0% ragging. No discrimination based on sex,color , religion, language etc. Lot of encouragement is given to cultural activities. There are many dance clubs as well.

Fee structure is ok compared to other private colleges since we had government seats i had paid 22000 every year and examination fees was not included in this about was split fee structure is not too high so it is worthy to pay amount but SC st scholarship was there. I didn't get it since I was GM.

I got admitted by paying government fixed amount and we didn't get scholarship since it was only for SC ST. We paid fees which was not refundable. Admission formalities was very good. Our college is very good at admin department. Admin is stable and our principal was very friendly and good person.

In college many events took place through out the academic year technical ever was named as DELTA it was a great event where students can exibit there technical knowledge and learn new things through playing in the events conducted by respective branch's the cultural event was named as MALIKA this was a platform for the students to exibit there talent in cultural events like dance ,drama, and many other theis events are prity big all the students from other colleges around the city attender to these events.

Campus life was awesome they have well built infrastructure, lawns, sitting areas, and canteen for students we can enjoy our free timings hanging out with friends around the campus they have good feild for sports a football court, basketball court, voly ball court, cricket pitch and many more Indoor stadium consists of shuttle badminton court and table tennis allong with carrom board,chess,and snooker table etc there were events like robo wars, robo races and robo soccer etc.

Gender ratio is equal my department of architecture has equal number of girls and boys and debate, robotics etc are organised in AAVARTAN eclectika etc they were really of considerable standard.recently a debate was organised after a group discussion and it was worthwhile to listen to the points of students in topics such as universal design, how to accomodate growing population, as an architect how to conserve heritage etc.

Qualified and helping some faculties are Ph.D and most have done masters in various architecture related subjects our HOD is phD. from IIT he has done masters there are qualified visiting faculties also who come time to time to provide knowledge there are different people to teach planning, design, arts, building construction , structural analysis and all those are qualified in their respective fields.

I would say it is expensive compared to other jntu affiliated colleges but they have a good placement record so if you re willing to shell a few more bucks it is a safe bet 6 years back the fees was 5 lakhs for 4 years excluding transport the transport fees is around 50k per year which is slights exorbitant you have an option of staying at hostel which is a better option.

The sports events are not that famous but the technical and cultural fest pramana is very famous.Many film stars come as guests and also they invite many famous music rock bands authors and other well known personalities from the industries all the students have a gala time during the fest there are many food stalls and other activities that kee going in parallely.
