In and around February, their are 2 Main Festivals at IIT Kharagpur. Cultural Festival called Spring Fest and Technology Festival called Kshitij. 100s of colleges from country participate in them, Apart from these their is also Inter IIT sports meet every year, which is like a mini National Games. Also their a Sports Festival Inside Campus. Apart from these are Inter Hostel Events through the year.

Placement at IIT are Quite Good. With 100% placement for those seeking, even if some are left in Campus Placements, due to factors like low Soft Skills, Very Poor CGPA, Low Company Turnaround for a Particular Course, they have good opportunities off campus. Only key is decent Confidence and Basics are Clear. Even for below average students in class I will put minimum at 6-7 lacs per annum.

Job opportunities and placement is quite good in BBDIT. As per placement is concerned very first every individual student has to score atleast 75-90% total aggregate in FINAL year of their course. After getting these minimum eligibility criteria, student can sit in any company interview. Placement is quite good (package is little low) but atleast getting placement is must and college try their best.

Every year there is annual event in the College for the development of interpersonal skills in the students. Student meet different students of different colleges this increase their technical skills etc. Event generally consists of technical competition between students for knowledge sharing etc.

Since Bachelor of Mass Media is a media based course, and at present is one of the sought after media program. It provides the students with a perfect platform to showcase their projects, presentations and performances and simultaneously develop their talents. It gives us a chance to apply our analytical skills as well along with the theory part. We study, History, Economics, Media studies, Management and what not.

I did not appear for any kind of entrance examination, as I already knew that I want to enroll in this course.I already had this subject called "Mass Media" in my school so it was quite clear in my mind that I have to continue with this stream only. The only entrance exam I appeared for was of the St. Xavier's College, Mumbai and for that I guess I scored around 68-69% out of 100%.

JEE-2013, Actually i scored 72 marks in JEE out of 360 and cut off of my category (OBC)was of 70 that year and that means i cracked the JEE mains and qualified for JEE advanced but i failed to succeed in that exam.Then,i knew this college in newspapers ,ads and most my friend told me about this college,so i took admission here.

Yes, Placement is very good. 84%placement guaranteed. I will share my experience in last week 13 days 13 Companies and 145 Placement was there. Every month this kind of placement done and students too selected in MNCs. You will get a placement in every branch like Volvo, HCL, Lenovo, Bosch, Mitsubishi, Bhel, BSNL, Tata etc.

Technical Event called : Vision almost 10,000 students participate in the event its national level technical event. Cultural event : Every year gathering is organised by college and students. Also Ganpati ustav , dandiya night and many more. Apart from this we have clubs in college each club is having separate events organised in college.

Placement is quite good in college. Average package is about 4,00,000 per year. Companies Symantec 9 lakh, Thought Works 7 lakh, AgroStar 8 lakh, idyllic software 6 lakh, Pubmatics 5 lakh, IBM 4 lakh, TCS 4 lakh, Accenture 4 lakh, Wipro 4 lakh, EMC 8 lakh, seagate 8 lakh, veritas 9 lakh sokrati 8 lakh.

Course Structure is very interesting since its Electronics Syllabus. Electives include Both Coding and VLSI Design.I always opt for coding subjects since I completed Computer Science in My Pre University College in Kerala.Here I had a interesting subjects like VLSI,VHDL,Embedded Systems which are always good for Research.

Campus life can be rated as very good.Campus is small compared to other college but has got a good natural beauty.Boys are more than girls. Workshops are conducted Department wise like Robotics, Game Development, Coding,Web Development etc. Debates are conducted when BIT carnival programmes are held.

Course structure was as per Mumbai University. As we moved on the fifth semester, the focus was more on practical aspects of electronics and communication. Considerable focus on practicals in well-equipped labs.

Fee is feasible. As on 2010, it was 40,000 per year which was one of the lowest in Navi Mumbai.

Vishveshwarya Institute of Engineering & Technology, under Shrinath Trust was established in the year 2000 to impart quality higher education. The institute runs under Vishveshwarya group of institutions. Approved by AICTE, UGC and PCI, the group has a sprawling campus of over 65 acres offering world class modern facilities and dedicated experienced faculty. It is affiliated to UPTU, Lucknow.

Faculty was good but most of them were new specially for computer and IT courses. They have various departments. Department of Civil engineering, Department of Information Technology, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Department of Electronics & Telecommunication, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Well qualified, perfect faculty members. All faculties are experts in their fields. They have a separate phone number given by the college management, which the students can call and ask doubt at any point of time. Faculties give their best to help students and make them understand tough concepts and problems very easily.

Many companies used to come every year, this year- Campus interview has just begun, wipro has come almost 50-60 students from each dept took part. As the campus interview is conducted between 3 colleges, very few get placed. Companies like wipro, tcs, tech mahindra, infosys used to come every year regularly .

Faculty and the staaf was well educated and was supportive. All the faculties in the college were highly educated and experienced. Teachers and others staff was very supportive and helpful to all the students. There was proper guidance of the teachers in the practical and research works.

It was good. The course curriculum includes the theoritical subjects and practicals and projects were also carried out frequently. The research papers were also a part of the curriculum structure. Overall the course curriculum was very good. Research work was also carried out.

So many events like spring fest with so many events in singing ,dancong snd a lot more events in spring fest which makes it asia best event.apart from this kshitij event carries a lot more fun .The department event prakriti is too good and student have large gathering and participation in these events which helps in overall growth of student.

Good but a very hectic schedule even in one day two exam falls sometimes. So many exams like midterm, class test,and surprise tests in class and end term exam.syllabus of exam is according to teaching whatever taught in class is asked but the course content is so much that it is mote than enough for exam point of view.

It's very good. Each of faculty member do deal with every short topic even one is not getting it in the first time. No one had to leave the class with any types of topic been taught. There are a lot of books available in the library to ensure the deep knowledge of every student for any particular subject & topic. Overall it was awesome to be with such wonderful colleges.

When it comes to gender ration than number of boys were grater than that of girls a bit.it has wonderful things as extracurricular as sports,music etc. They are organised social activity on various human sources. There is nothing like discrimination.if there is any occasion then they provide like seminars,debates,quiz,social activities.

In conducting exams I am very happy to say that it conducts in university level where it has standards.It has highly equipped labs where our ECE Dept has National Instruments Lab ,Cadence Lab of VLSI, MAT Lab,HFSS Lab. The labs which are mentioned above are very much useful in doing projects and also we have certification courses for each and every lab.

Our college is having 90% placements .Many companies like Flipkart,Amazon,Mu sigma,samsung ,godrej, IBM,Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and so on nearly 86 companies visited our college and packages are from 3.3 lakhs to 27lakhs. Our college is having special training centre for placements which is known as PLACEMENT AND TRAINING CENTRE.

Our criteria for exams has been changed as previous pattern was that all the students from first to fourth have to give practicals and theoretical exams but now the criteria is that first to third year students have to give theory exams and a submission which includes our art works of every week of whole semester.And fourth year students have to give practicals and theoretical exams together .

There was an aptitude test which was occurred for the selection criteria. Includes drawing skills and art history. I opt this course as I'm having a keen interest in this field since 2009. And I'm crazily want this college from my school time as my teacher wanted me to go to delhi and opt this college because of its reputation .

Total college fees per year cost 100000 . 85000 rs tuition fees ,1500 rs exam fees 5000 for student enhancement programs,9000 for book bank. Best this hostel charges per year is 85000 which also includes mesh charges in it. School fees is not affordable on daily income of parents but through scholarship by u.p govt. And loans from bank managed to pay the fees.

Faculty are good in completing course but not have depth knowledge of subject. Many of the faculty are those who are doing the m.tech in same college and also teaching. Some good faculty are there which teach well but same faculty has to teach 3-4 courses in a sem so he remain unprepaired for lectures.

Placements are the best compared to any vtu colleges. The basic package is 3 lakhs with the max as high as 14 LPA. Its easy to get placed if u opted CS IS EC, other branches struggle quite a bit. Fortunately I got placed in Robert Bosch which is one of the four core companies that come for mech. Others are Toyota Kirloskar, Mahindra Aerospace and L&T.

The syllabus is pretty outdated, and its not the fault of BIT but of VTU. The teaching is considerably good with much focus given to scoring good marks rather than securing knowledge. Although there are various clubs like stratos , Kratos , tedx which are really working to bring latest tech infront of students.

Faculty members are good. Most of them are master in Engineering or Technology. They have good knowledge about subject but only teach syllabus. I mean they will not tell a single word rather than syllabus at least in period. But they're trained in such manner that they can help students in reducing stress about tests and exams.

Placements and job opportunities are good but only few members got selected due to bad communication(students were unable to speak in well manner with interviewer) Companies that visit our college TCS, L&T, Infosys, Microsoft and many more small local companies. I've mentioned only IT companies because I'm a CSE student.

Exam structure is best and less hectic they are conducting each standard exams at different hours of day so it doesn't looks like any tension and goes on smoothly. They are not giving holidays in between but the teaching of faculties are very good that we have our all the concepts clear before our exams get started.

I am in a BMS department so I have that much info. That the recruiters takes the aptitudes then after Group Discussion and in final Personal Interview if anybody wants job by college he has to go from this three steps. The company I remember was Axis bank selected 5 person at ₹15,000 per month salary package.

If you are willing to put efforts in research, faculty and curriculum is definitely going to help. Also, unlike other colleges making only 2 projects, you have to make overall minimum of 5 projects related to technology. Every semester will have a minimum of 1 programming language, focus on that and you will definitely grab a good offer. At the end, programming or management you will be judged on these 2 traits.

In 2015, roughly 170 companies visited my campus. Almost, everybody eligible was placed with many having multiple offers. If you are above average, you might grab a good offer otherwise mass recruiter are always there. The list of few would be Amazon - 21 lacs, Browserstack - 14 lacs Deloitte - 4.5 lacs, Paytm - 8 lacs.

College provide campussing for both engineering and management students. Companies like IBM, TCS, Wipro etc. Some are pooled by JIS and some are independent of college. Package range : 2-5 lkpa.

Gender ratio is Male : Female 55:45. Racism, Religion, Sexual Orientation was not allowed, even ragging is a offence here. Its quite safe and friendly, feels like home.
