Mechanical engineering is taught well. Course structure is arranged in a way to make the students understand and score well in exams. Lab practicals are arranged to carry on practical activities and gain practical knowledge. Various tests are taken to make the students well versed and prepared for the university exam.
Placement was average till 2013.Mechanical engineering had only 3-4 companies for placement.Average package was 4L. Core companies had come. Also 1-2 IT companies hired mechanical engineers. Criterias are strict so need to fit in appropriately.Placement rate till 2012 was 30-40%.

Exams and Labs are not hectic .You get ample amount of time to focus on your extracurricular activities.Generally, there are two exams in one semester, first is mid-sem exam which is for 20 marks and other is end semester exam which is for 70 marks and remaining 10 marks is teacher's assessment which is based on the performance and attendance of the student as assessed by the teacher.
Overall placements in our college are good .50 percent gets placed every year in core companies and non-core companies are not invited till now but from this year onwards non-core companies like TCS and some banks will also be called. The Exam Structure is same as that of Andhra University and it was really chilled out and Easy to clear .The laboratory exam are really good with Conceptual questions. Those Conceptual questions are being prepared by College faculty itself. Typically Exam structure makes every student to read entire syllabus unlike JNTU.
The curriculum is really good if we compare with other Universities. It is prepared with strong intention that student must gain knowledge over what he is studying. If we see the curriculum we can easily say that it is prepared with the intention of teaching the practical knowledge along with theoretical.

As per my knowledge, we have two centralised test through out the semester .We have also lab test before the semester/final lab exam .It always helps to improve our performance in the final exam. We have 5 or 6 theory paper and 4 or 5 lab exam through out the semester.
As per my knowledge , students assess their faculty as per the doings and behaviors of the faculty but in spite of this nature if we are going to judge faculties of my college they are good , co-operative ,highly qualified ,guiding and many more .

I love AU and never really wanna go back home, all my friends are here and its a blast. Also Athletic Training is the best and being a major in it is equally rewarding. The 2016 Best Colleges ranking calculates millions of statistics and student reviews into one overall college ranking.

The college followed the curriculum of JNTU Hyderabad. It was good enough with a focus on research. The labs were designed to support the research. The college supported each and every student who showed interest in the extra learning activities apart from the regular course. So I would say the course structure is excellent with focus on research.
As promised it provided us with the placements. The offers ranges between 100000 to 300000 for being freshers. During the years 1997 to 2001 IT was not that good and the opportunities for interns was nil. Even in those years this college could offer placements and that is something that needs to be appreciated.

In my college, faculty must have the degree of M.Tech ,but probability 20% of faculty can teach in right way so that student can able to understand, rest of them just come to earn money they dont show must interest in teaching even some faculty dont ecen know how to teach or how to manage class.

One the best things about our campus is that it provides with 2 internships. One after the 4th semester which is a summer internship of 2 1/2 months which has no stipend. This is just to expose the students to work culture. The 2nd is a 6 month internship which can be in 7th or 8th semester based on students choice. The stipend depends on the company and overall average would be 25k.
Most of the faculty are experienced. It is enough if you attend the classes of the lectures that you are in no need to study that hard to take your examinations. The faculty is so co-operative that you can approach any one of them on any given day. The faculty always encourages the students and always makes sure that students understand everything they teach.

Faculty members of college are quite supportive. They give their complete timings to the students if he/she is intrested in the subject. Some faculty members have done there masters in different degrees and have much experience in teaching. Few faculty members are new to teaching however they are giving there best.

The fees structure is very less as compared to other colleges and provides top level facilities in the college. The MBA fees structure is 27000 rs per year. The college also provides lower fees structure to students from backward class and handicapped in nature. There is a special fees of 5000 Rs per year for the college facilities.
The faculty of the College is highly qualified and well versed with the syllabus of the courses. The faculty always helps the students in the doubts and issues. My MBA faculty helped me learn fast and thoroughly. As per my opinion the statistics subjects is more focus as its an hard subject in the courses.

The placement scenario is largely imbalanced. The branches of Computer Science, IT see the most mouth-watering placements with the likes of Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, Samsung, HP, Oracle etc. visiting the campus. The package soars in range of 15-30 Lakhs per annum (LPA) depending on the job-profile one gets chosen for.
Being a Government-funded institute, funded by the AICTE, fees are on the lower side as compared to the private peers. However, fees have been increasing year -after-year. Currently, the fees stand at about Rs. 90,000 per semester as tuition+accommodation fees (including exam fees, library fees, laundry etc).
In first year they are much experience but as i am in fourth year very few of them remain there most of the, were leaved from there as that college very old college.

12th ISC (Delhi Board) to get into NM college. I scored 84%. Narsee Monjee's reputation precedes itself. It is considered as one of the premier institutes of India for commerce. The college is very strict when it comes to discipline and attendance. BFM as a course is perfect for anyone who has an interest in the financial markets of the world.
The faculty is majoritively good. Narsee Monjee hand picks its professors and most of them are qualified in their respective field. Even the visiting faculty has the relevant experience needed. The only downside being that once teachers get in, they get comfortable and end up staying for years because they know their seniority is valued.
Semester 6 was hectic and semester 8 was chilled out. Overall civil department was fairly chilled out when compared to the other departments. We have 4 years in a year and then there were internals. Don't really remember the exact structure now as it was 2 years back.
It's alright I suppose. Everything was in Tamil in the college and being from Mumbai I could hardly comprehend what they would talk about. So i never participated in any placement events. But i am sure it wasn't half as bad as some people expected.

Faculty is very good at Symbiosis Institute Of Business Management Pune. Bother internal and external faculties are very competent to the current market trends. Both the faculties are capable of delivering practical aspect of each course. External faculty will bring you their practical experiences; but internal are very good in telling you ground rules and provide you direction to move forward.

No. Till my time there were no scope for internship. College never tried for it, We had to look for it outside by ourselves. If we get one outside then e were not allowed to extend our semester off for it , as internships were normally for 2-3 months minimum, but we used to get a break of max 1.5 months. Stipend rarely.
In 2014, it was like there was no placement at all. In 2015 , the T&P cell worked a bit better in calling companies to our college for placements. Comparatively, a good number of students got placed at that time. Unfortunately i wasn't got placed, as there were high eligibility criteria .

The curriculum covers almost all the discipline. The course structure also covers in such a way that the students study as much as possible. Also the examinations structure make people fear and study as much as possible. Also the practicals, sessional etc carry sufficient weightage, leading to get sufficient significance.
