Not so good, placement activities were clubbed with another college in there campus, college does not have there own reputation even though Honorable ex-minister sharad pawar was one of important (head) body member. And other members were opponent of him and doing politics instead of development.
No college was not providing any internship, nor was taking any efforts to do so. Training and placement department was formed in last year when i was there and that is due to student demand. And activities of TPO was almost nothing, but i will not blame him as he is also governed by management.
Course curriculum was very poor as nothing which is being taught can be directly applied in the field and there were hardly 2-3 teachers with any previous job experience. Most of the teachers are recent students of either same college or some other college without any actual field expertise. Absolutely no focus on research.
There were no campus placements for CSE and ECE branches. In 2011 these students went for only two companies Cognizant and Infosys that too in pool campus at other colleges. Packages ranged from 2.5-3 LPA. Mechanical branch had some local companies coming for on campus placements and one odd company for pharmacy too.
Once you go for On the Job training in 3rd semester, where generally all known companies from travel trade visits campus and offers attractive remuneration for candidate based on his skill set. These Companies Hire candidates on attractive compensation. Ranging from 20000 to 30000 as a starting compensation for freshers.
College offers various scholarships for students who are from SC/ST/OBC categories in form of full fee waiver, Also those candidates who will hold first 3 positions will be rewarded with certain amount of cash reward in respect of fee paid. As topper will get full refund of fee he/she paid in that semester.
We have Written IIT and i have scored 78% and i got good opportunity in PG college. The holiday collection launched before Christmas would be in collaboration.
We have Enjoyed a lot at our college life. We have participate in all the extracurricular activities and labs and sports also, robotics and debates etc.
B.tech course structure is more or less related to the fundamentals of Electronics, for research purpose, one has to have at least an M.tech degree and select the elective courses accordingly to their interest. Whereas, if a student is interested he can contact any of the faculty members to discuss his/her idea or project. The faculty member is were cooperative and supportive.
The gender ratio is very poor, there were 2 girls over 100 boys. In terms of diversity, one can find students from all around the country. There are various extracurricular like gardening, photography, robotics, drama, entrepreneur club, etc. Most of the clubs are pro-active and keep on organizing workshops and events for the student.
UAJET was the examination name at that time. After clearing the written round, shortlisted people will get call and GBPEC is one of the premier institute in uttarakhand so students first priority is always GBPEC.
In my knowledge college doesn't provide any internship, yes they encourage people to deliver projects which is part of there syllabus and help them to achieve it within there limit.

The campus life is great but quite hectic too. My batch has a good mix of boys and girls and the college has a good diaspora with students from different parts of the country coming to the college. The gender ratio is 1:1. Student workshops are arranged every semester. And the college is strict with regards to any gender bias or race or religion based bias.
We have the best faculty at our college. The faculty are highly experienced and all are well qualified. We have faculties who have at least 10 years of industry experience, since the college highly believes in the aspect of experiential learning we get to learn a lot from the personal experiences of our faculties which cannot be found in any text books.
Techofezz - Technical event , Programming events, Paper presentation, Project presentation. Kalaicharal - Cultural event all sorts of cultural. Quest- A cultural event for school students, There is no entry fee to the students. Over 100 schools take part in the event.
Marks will not be a barrier for On campus placements , Mostly every one gets placed with ease. Some companies prefer students with more GPA , College does not impose any. Over 50 companies come every year and most of the bright students end up having 2 placements .
We will have 3 tests in a semester called Continuous Assessment Test-1 & 2 and Model Exam. For CAT-1 & 2 total marks for 50 with duration 90 minutes and for model total marks for 100 with duration 180 minutes. Build a strong relationship with a teacher, employer or reputable person in the community, and ask them well in advance for a letter of recommendation.
Generally faculties are highly qualified. We had a Teaching Learning Process with more interactions like Edusat, NPTEL Video session. Really this makes more effective to the course.International collaborations for student and faculty exchange programs. Faculty-student ratio of 1:7 and faculty consisting of Ph.D. holders
Good placements, I got selected in a company through Campus placement. Approx 65% candidates of my batch were placed through campus only. Companies like Pearl Pet, Telleborg, Polyplastics, Premier plastics, Moserbayer etc. have participated. Package was relatively less but OK as per the point of time.
The exam structure was good but hectic. There were exams of 2 subjects in the same day which makes it very hectic. There are some days when we chilled out too. Overall it was a compact capsule course which includes everything good memories, bad days & some really exhausted days.

Every single event is celebrated in our college. In feb we celebrate valentine week. In march Holi and Technology Fest. In Aug Friendship day, Independence day and Janmasthami. In sep Ganesh Chaturthi. In October Navratri. Diwali and Rakhi at Home. Rest all are celebrated in between exams. Generally Christmas and Sankranti is celebrated in between Exams.
Fee structure is very high in our college. So we also protest against it and some how manage to reduce our increased fees. Well I think they are following a policy which is generally used by our Indian government. Firstly rise prices so high then after arising of some issues somehow reduced but ultimate resultant is increased.
If you scored in good mark in HSC, you can get a change to join this college in the counseling. This is one of the top 10 college in tamilnadu. So this is worth college .
Yes, they tied up with some companies and if you want you can join tied up company as a intern and you can get the change to do the project when you studying.

Its full time engineering course, very good infra structure that's include Lap and training as well as. 95% Campus placement at that time, I got placed in PSL Limited.
We had 60-40 scale . 60 marks for academic exam and other 40% for internal. Internal included attendance , class test, mid term exam aggregate final exam was conducted for 100 marks and brought down to 60 marks to match the 60%. 40% - 5% for attendance , 15% for class and midterm exam and 10% for assignment and 10 % for project works.
Placement and Job Opportunities are good. 20% of the population got place for companies like Goldman Sachs, EY, TCS, Ocwen and package was offered as per market standards. Also company placement team provides reference for many others companies across Bangalore.
Placement at out time was good. I myself was placed I two of the companies. Indian Army and Infosys. Almost all of the students who have no backlogs or are in compliance with the basic minimum criteria of placements in the IT companies were placed somewhere On or Off campus that depends. College was always encouraging towards placements initiatives.
We have celebrated many events, the list is as follows: Sports Day- with various athletic event n competitions for almost 2 days every year. engineering day 15th sept- comprising various departmental level technical competitions. Science Fair- A two day fair to showcase your projects and achievements in technical areas to the students of schools.

The placement and job opportunities provided by the college is really good. They call a lot of big companies for the placements. The placement cell is also very good and maximum students are placed with one or the other companies. The companies that come up provide a good package to the students.
The exam structure of all the college is according to the rules prescribed by the university. They have 2 internal exams after a gap of say a month and an external exam conducted by the university at the end of every semester. They also alott marks on the basis of class behaviour and attendance.

Course structure revised in every third year so student was always aware about current study material. When i was in this university found that our course is very advanced compare to other university. For an example C++ was our first semester subject and in other university it was part of 4 or 5th semester and I am talking about in the year of 2001.
Fee structure was i say best part. We need to pay 9k a year or 4.5k for one semester. Hostel just 300 rupee a month and for mess 700 in 2001-2004. And jalgon is not expensive city so it was less expensive. Other then that we have discount on rail fair twice in a year. Hence this heaven for those who came from poor background.

Cultural events were held every 4 years. Its basically a Fest called Aadrita. Student's from around the state gather for this thing. Around 3k people participated in this event in 2012. Technical events are held by IEEE coordinators every year for the IT people and it helps in knowing every individuals capabilities.
The faculty in our college are great. They very well know what a student actually required and helped us out during the hard times. Coming to my branch, I have handful favorite lecturers who motivated me to bring our the best out of me. This helped us out in rediscovering ourselves and knowing our potential.
I took MAT entrance exam -60%. I chose this college because of its peaceful environment and best placement records. We can have interactive sessions and the staffs will be so friendly. They will be ready to clear your doubts at any time. Good hostel and food facilities are available within the campus.
The course curriculum was so good. We get to learn international languages also as a part of the curriculum.
