Fees structure of my college is not so high so student does not required to take loan. And we also have to paid fees in half yearly basis so burden of payment of fees is spread. If a student is from poor family he can get donation for his study.

There two exam during the year. First is near diwali and second is in the month of March- April. First exam called half yearly exam and second exam called final exam once we clear we move on second year.

The college is quite small and only 4 different branches are there. It's one of the disadvantage because all other colleges are build on acres of land. Even though the college is small the facilities are of high standards. We have a ground for football and another for basketball and volleyball. Teachers support us for extra curricular activities. They are supportive and helpful. A few teachers are strict but overall they are supportive. The canteen us also small and the food is just ok.

I took KEAM (kerala entrance exam) entrance to get into model engineering college. My rank was 3505 and this made me eligible to join model engineering college. I already planned to chose computer science because I loved everything about computers. We use computers for almost everything now a days and the scope and job opportunities for computer science is very high. Model engineering college is very famous for its placement records and facilities hence I opted for this college.

Cultural activities were good but the college infrastructure were not upto the mark considering the reputation of the college. Gender ratios,Hostel Parties,workshops,cultural societies and tolerance with regards to gender,ethnicity,race,religion,sexual orientation,politics and economic status were all good.

Very good placements are offered. Many companies like deloitte,microsoft,nvidia,tcs ,infosys,mindtree,adp,musigma,GE,cordys,nokia siemens,zynga,broadcom etc pays visit every year and has above 90% placement statistics for all branches.

I had a very bitter experience in my college as I committed a serious mistake during an internal exam which was done unknowingly. All my friends supported me a lot during that situation but our professors did not pay heed to my words and I was punished.

Course curriculum was good but the design of the curriculum and it's assessment process was not good. The examinations were conducted twice a year and question pattern is mostly subjective.

Over the years the buildings in the campus the strength of the student all have increased due to better education quality in and around the city. The present vs works in progressing the campus and has included a lot number of new courses built and expanded the research.

The university hosts number of competitions giving exposure to the students. Such competitions includes tech fest,cultural competitions,debate and other competitions every year that involve students from different campuses that falls under the university.

Placement facilities were very poor in a college only one student got placed through placement in Indiabulls power sector. He got package of 3 lac. Hardly 3 companies came for the placement. They selected some students and then disappeared.

I took IIT JEE,AIEEE,MHCET exams to get admission for Engineering. I got selected in this college on the basis of AIEEE my score was 63. I wanted to be Mechanical engineer from school days due to fascinations about machines and physics.

Kani a Cultural Gathering is the intercollegiate arts festival of the English Association Talaash Arthanomics is the annual flagship festival of the Economics Association of Jai Hind College haveing achieved tremendous unprecedented success in the first year of its inception in 2014 the team of 2015 surely lived up and in some cases even surpassed the benchmark set by their predecessors.

The primary objectives of the Association are to promote and maintain contact among all Jai hind-ites by creating opportunities which would enable alumni to streng then their bonds with their alma mater. Moreovers to help the college with matters concerning its promotion,development and welfare.

The entrance examination i had for my engineering studies is CET. One of the best entrance exams conducted in the India. Oxford college of Engineering was my first choice because of Good Placement options and easy accessibility. CET is known for it's transparency in the seat selection process the seat matrix was displayed on big screens and we were able to track the number of seats available under each domain and the college. This system also gave us the chance of selecting the best available option.

It was VTU curriculam but i think VTU have to really rework on the same as it really does not meet the industry standards and requirements many students going out of college will not be ready to meet the standards required by the industry.

It has a good scope for placements. Many companies like wipro,Tech Mahindra etc came for campus selections and selected many canditates. Also they have sister concerned engineering college (RVR & JC) which is one of the top engineering colleges in that regiaon.

This is one area of lacking. College is not maintaining any alumni contacts with old students. This is one recomondation that I can suggest. Please maintain a alumni register and keep in touch with old students.

It was well planed and progressive activities, Teaching was good, students take interest all the time, attendance were more then 85%. Subject were made simple and well explained by all the professors. Some time professor take extra pain to take extra clas

The professors were highly qualified, Have very good knowledge of the subjects. They always come prepare with their subjects and give best out put to students. Create interest in subjects. So all students get maximum gain and knowledge of the subject. Eve

Excellent curriculum. Curriculum cover all the important aspect required for the course. Curriculum are industry oriented and relevent. There is continous changes that are made for the curriculum to be more relevent.

After completing my HSC with 64% i opted for FYBCOM in kv pendharkar college because i dont like travelling wasting a time it was near to my home was the reason and rather the admission process was also tedious in this college because i had low marks however i made it. There wasnt any entrance exam for my college) the reason behind learnig plain B.Com was some home financial problem inspite i also opted this because i want to opted for IPCC(professional) in future.

That what the point i always want to comment on it. If I`ve been the HRD MINISTER of india i have removed all that reservations from the effect as far as education is concern and will make cheaper my college used to keep higher fees with non qouta students and 2% fees of our to reservation cateogory now what is this system all about i dont understand.

It is very easy to study and learn more about mechanical there are different subject each are very from different section and problems and drawing is more compare to theory. Which easy to understand and we can improve our knowledge in this field of studys.

Infosys company came to our college to taking the career programme and they give free offer to student who are all studying this career program and it was giving more experince to our college student got well knowledge in the program.

College seniors are good they help to conduct notes they help in all activities. College is fully anti ragging. There are a rule when admission is done that time anti ragging form is should be submitted by student.

State bank of India,icici,kirloskar,sgiI did intership in kirloskar company for 60 days that is upon consumer satisfaction topic. The project is done upon the intership.

The fees structure is too expensive for the usual student (Direct admission as my knowledge ) and after that I realize its worthy for the infrastructure and maintenance and the coaching also good as well as. If anyone could not the fees on the time they will allow to exam. Its very good habit from the office of my colleg.

Oh it has been great about the function and events experience in my college. Unfortunately they did conduct only hostel day for hostel students only and few seminars and Aluminas and Cornucopia and the each department functions and each faculties have good responsibility on those events.

The first year curriculam is pretty general with basics of engineering with other departments subjects as well. From second year onwards a full dive into your streams with labs theories and seminars. You'll get to choose from various options from 5th semesters.

In a nut shell it is a good college to study your engineering. Though its not an IIT or NIT its a good college which hold its own. Good hostel and a welcoming students is what you would ve expecting in this college.

The best part of our college is campus life. There is one or other activity every day baring the exam season. Fests are organised by each branch and also there are college level fests. Interbranch competitions and intercollege university competitions. All of them are followed by parties. These competitions were on sports debates paper presentations singing dancing skits and ever other thing on the planet you can think of as far as the tolerance politics and gender biasing is concerned there os nothing as such at least in our college.

There are lot of events regularly consducted. Previously each branch conducted its own fest inviting all colleges in the state. Later on the fests were substituted with a mega techfest called as ojas. The fest has all kinds of technical cultural and sports events also the college conducts interbranch sports and various other competitions. The annual fest ojas has more than 5000 participants from the state. Participations often have to be cancelled due to laws which do not allow more than 5000 people at the place.

Witchar' is a technical event in which has national level events as Paper Presentation,Project Presentation,Robo Race,Poster Presentation etc.'Utsav' is a cultural event haveing Dance,Drama,Singing ets.' Strokes' is a sports event haveing Cricket,Volleyball,football,Basketball,Carom,Chess ets. All these events are very big and almost each student participate in them.

The life in this college is awesome no one can forget these 4 years. There are many competitions arranged every year as Paper Presentation,Robotics,Debates,Project Presentation and all these are National Level. There is a big sports event 'Strokes' 4 days every year.

We are total 20 student. We placed in all companies. 7 student placed in Reliance industries with package around 10 lakh. 3 student placed in Crain india with package of 11 lakh around. I and other 2 student placed in ONGC goverment psu with 12 lakh package. 1 student placed in GSPC and 2 student placed in anil ambani Reliance company and 2 student placed in HOEC company with around 10 lakh package. Remaining student placed in MUD logging companies like OFI wetherford.

Our practical conducted in labs. We have one big computer labs where we used internet to browse course material and studies material. College have big play ground. Where we played vollyball daily. So awesome our campus life. We visit near sea shore area and beech around viskaptatan. We watched saterday or sunday movies in market.

Enjoyed and students are still enjoying a lot during college life Industrial Visits are arranged,Technical session like Workshops,Semianrs,Conferences and Extracurricular activities are arranged,SPARSH organizes programmes regarding Sexual Orientation programmes,Ethical Programmes are also conducted. Awareness Programmes are conducted in Near by villages.

Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship around 7 Crores are provided to the students toppers from each state are waved with Full Tuition and Hostel Fee 25% to 100% scholarship is given to top students. IF Students Parents expires during the course duration,Tuition fee is waved.
