Initially i was not sure to take admission in bangalore but my COMEDK score was good enough. My rank was around 4000 in which my chance was good to get admission in one of the top 10 college. Therefore I took admission un rnsit computer science branch.

Intercollege fest is pantheon which held every alternate year offcourse because of shortage of funds. But fest is too good and full of enjoyment. Then there is one intracollege fest parichay which also very good. MBA fest is also organised gesteon. Some other branch organised fest are there.

There was no such enternship programme. It was only study & then degree awarded after qualifing the exames in written & practicals. The college was having only graduation programmes. And no postgraduate or enternship programme on stipend basis.
Talking about the placement opportunities, there is a big number of companies that visit our college which are increasing every year. Yes, being a private college these companies do not offer a very huge CTCs but yes we have companies ranging from as low as 3.25 lpa (cognizant, infosys, aricent etc) to 22 lpa (Amazon).
No , our college does not provide any sort of internship facility and hence no stipend as well. This is one thing that our college lags as we are not provided with such facilities.

MCA course under VTU Belaguam is having all updated syllabus for all technical subjects and this University is one of the best and quality education providing institutions. This course is having 6 semesters for 3 years. This course will provide great knowledge on IT profession.
Since our batch was pioneer batch for MCA in our college, we had new faculties, it was great learning expereice for us and our faculties were always supportive for us and our college was the top MCA college for Belgaum region for VTU.
Placements are not too good in Jodhpur national university, very few companies came for placements, the companies are also small ones, not any MNC's. All the students have to get placed through Off campus. This is the major drawback of the college. Some E.C.E companies came, but too for RF engineer.
In engineering it is summer training, I have done my summer training from ISRO (Indian space research organization), Jodhpur. It was the duration of 45 days, we have learned about satellite system, GPS etc. in our training.
The college is helpful, I mean awesome, you see teachers are cool, and awesome. The location of the college is awesome, so beautiful, tress, parks, places for hideout, lil Orthodox though.
Acer, Bank of Baroda, Intel. Other then that I have never been selected in any, still thanks to college, they are awesome. And the companies are probably good.

I scored 67.75 percentile in MAT. There was a GD and PI thereafter. I opted for this college because of it's fame. It is one of the most renowned B-Schools in the NCR. I pursued PGDM in Marketing & Finance from this Institution. This Program was approved by AICTE and also was considered equivalent to MBA by AIU.
Lot of companies came for the Summer Internship like JK, Lintas Media. Stipend was not offered to the Students. We got a lot of exposure and there was lot of learning opportunities. We gotta link between academics & industry.

Yes stipend is offered also offering earn and learn scheme per semester one can avail for internship. They take review of internship on first day of semester every student is being involved in this process.
Cultural events are organized along with technical events in collaboration with iete , ieee etc. Batu has organized avishkar also university drama is the main interaction in batu karandak.
Campus life is good and enjoyable NITIE is surrounded by lakes and trees it is a different place compared to other parts of mumbai gender ratio is skewed as NITIE takes only engineers hostel parties are limited and depends on your personal group.
There is a single festival in NITIE now called Avtran earlier, NITIE used to have more than one Fest managed by PGDIM and PGDIE batches. In Avtran, the fest spans across Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance competitions and conclaves.
Being one of the old institutions, this college has quite a good record of placement. Eligible students are offered placements at some of the best companies like TCS,Essar, Polaris, HCL, LG, Sahara. This year many students got placed around 70%. Salaries offered is quite decent. Some got a package of around 2.5Lakhs while some even got 5Lakh package. Average salary offered is 3-3.5Lakh. If you are a bright student be sure about your bright future. If you are not and have no idea about engineering and unfortunately if you don't get placed by any company, don't blame the college for it.
Its never chilled out when you are doing engineering, from assignments to exams hectic as hell. Internal exams are taken seriously well it has to be because it adds up to your final score. Hell lot of assignments are given with no use, students copy it from one another. Submissions are a big deal you've to keep everything ready. If you get in final defaulters list then its gonna be a nightmare for you, the torture defaulters face during submissions is something you would never want to experience.
Fine arts, Sports day and farewell parties were the best keys to mingle well with the seniors and we never missed those opportunities. We were one as a department and there was no discretion as Ist, IInd or IIIrd years students. Till date, alumni meetings are going on, but I personally feel guilty for not being able to attend them.
We have many celebrations in our college and to name them, Fine arts, Independence day, Sports day, Christmas day, Mission Sales, Pongal and College day. Fine arts is the most scintillating event that is a competitive event between all the departments and is conducted for three colorful days.

There were lots of engaging activities in our campus across which was fun filled starts with freshers for juniors which is full of culturals, music & welcome party for juniors. Every auspicious function is celebrated crazily (Onam, pongal,Holi,Diwali,Christmas ,etc) also we can a Inter college symposium & cultural fest called chrysallis which is filled with events & culturals also we conduct business conference like Insight, HR conclave etc where veterans from various fields participate. Late Mr Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was the cheif guest for Insight 2011 and every week had guest lectures also.
Placements for my & senior batch was 100 %Was part of the placement cub for my seniors placement week.In both batches around 70% students got placed during placement week itself. YES bank offered the highest CTC (12L/annum) in 2011 batch and for our batch Religare(13L/annum) & ICICI (11-12/annum for laterals) were the highest paying companies. Other companies include CTS, Infosys, Photon, Asian paints, Vedanta, CBRE, JLL, Virtusa, CRISIL, Federal, Tata motors, etc.
The internship is the first opportunity to know what it is like to work in an office, to learn how to dress and perform in a professional manner, and to apply professional skills and talents. Here, It is a chance to develop communication and interpersonal skills, to build your knowledge base about a specific field, and to practice a higher level of responsibility and confidence.
Garden city college have been providing Proficient Recruitment Consultancy in all professional fields. The Placement Cell has been successful in bringing the best of organizations to the campus head hunting and is a matter of pride that GCC Alumni can be found working for the best corporates in the country and outside.

Major companies is Infosys, else most of the bpo companies comes for the placement. If any core came for placement then hardly you work for them 6 months after that they fire you, or you were forced to resigned for mechanical & other trade except CSE/IT sorry for you guys a very less companies came for placement, they hire 1-2 students hardly. Most of time you have to go off campus for the placement so for the placement try yourself & work hard.
Course structure was good but it could be better lack of knowledge of subjects of their staff as they recurit M.Tech students to tech students. Research wise it was worse experience i ever have if you want to do something, then have to do in your own way.
