The curriculum was vast and required lot of offline reading. The curriculum covered the history, communication, social interaction, parts of print media, online journalism, TV journalism, Editing, story telling , short films. Course focussed on incolving students to take proactive approach to explore new ideas and creating stories as part of curriculum.

There was entrance exam conducted by the institution followed by interview. The entrace was based on current affairs and general understanding of media , publishing and journalism. Interview was more about being you and your motivation for pursuing this course.

There are many companies like blue frog, facebook and many other companies came. 80% of the college students got placement. The faculty will also train the students at the time placements like mock interviews and mock exams the is the reason for 80 % of the students selected in placements.

Fees of the college are reasonable. MBA management seat around 60,000/-For the BTech around 1,00,000 per annum. One can pay the fees in fixed installments. The college also provides partime jobs in the software company with a stipend of 6000 to 7000 per month.

As far as placements are concerned people in B.tech get very beautiful offer from companies like TCS, Wipro Accenture in terms of technology students. And coming to sciences most of the student opted for phd than jobs but still companies like Shanta biotech Bharat biotech Reddy's lab and Thyrocare companies turn up. The best placements are given to students studying BBM and MBA.

There is always some or other going in the campus. Like coming to technical TEDX is one of the major event and they have workshops on robotics, IEEE and many seminars. Coming to life sciences we have science expo on the birthday of C V Raman sir every year and in month of december we have seminars where we can interact with them. Scientist from CCBM INSA turn up every year.

The campus life is simple. There is singly oriented hostels for male students and also for female students. There is no problems regarding Gender ratios, Hostel Parties, workshops, cultural societies and tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

The Course is on mechanical Engineering and is entirely focused on the same. The study is focused on stresses in bodies , force distribution etc. The study Included: Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Machine designing, Manufacturing Science and processes.

Kerala Engineering And Medical exam commonly known as KEAM is the eligibility test. You should have scored above 10 in this test to be in the ranklist. 60 students are alloted to each course my score in KEAM was 158/960 and my rank was 22,064. I chose this college because it was near to my grandparents house in calicut. After getting into this college i came to know that there is poor academics and activities. And also students who failed KEAM exam was illegaly alloted with use of money and power. The management here is a fraud and against students.

Now there is 60 students in each course. Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Applied science, Computer science, IT are the courses. Course duration was 4 years. which is divided into 8 semesters this college is under A.P.J Abdul kalam Technological University.

Actually I was contained in those who never want to be placed from this collage because their are two reasons not to be placed 1.companies are in a small count and all are not the leading 2. companies which best like WIPRO INFOSIS TCS HCL MICROSOFT and many of them came for the campus selection but didn't offer enough package maximun wa 3.8 lack per year .

Very fantastic actuaaly so good environment of the collage from study point of view and very good facilities in the collage labs were also maintained but some problems also occurred during the complete course but overall curriculum not bad and not so good also.

I had an interest to take up EEE and I got a seat through CET. EEE branch is unique in this college and all the staff are really taking care of curriculum needs of students. Better hostel and mess facilities are provided. People from different part of the country study here proving unity in diversity. Admission process is very simple and can be found in the college broucher as well as website.

First year of your course lot of ephasise would also be given to improve your soft skills,communication with your academics. Next three years with academics lot of co curricular activities,sports will b conducted tonkeep us lively. Being bookish is not the concept here . Knowledge will be fed from all sources. College is equipped with a good library.

I took the MH-CET exam for applying to the institute. I had an option to choose between COEP (Electrical branch) and VIT(Electronics branch) and chose this institute as the college is known for Electronics and Mechanical branches. Moreover it was getting autonomous and that helps us in grading and choosing the courses we want to take up.

It has a good ratio of girls and boys and believe in equality. The college gave us a platform to showcase our talents and explore them more. Culturally very rich and suits all kinds of students from various economic statuses. Our college participated in many Inter-college drama competitions in Pune and have won many awards.

For admission in this college in BCA there is centralized counseling held by Chandigarh department and the selection of the applicant is done on the basis of merit list and the merit list of the applicants is prepared by the scores that the applicants have scored in their higher secondary examination. I scored 73.2% in my 12th standard. I opt this college because it is one of the best college of our region.

Our college offer free stationary and fee waiver scholarship for those students who scores more than 60% and don't have any re-appear in previous examinations. BCA students are not eligible for fee waiver and for free stationary,students whose family earnings don't exceed 200000 are eligible and i haven't availed any scholarship yet.

It is a best course curriculum in commerce side we can learn about hot to business i we can learn how to be a smart guy because comparison with any other commerce students is very best in business and we can make lots of money and we can learn about economy of our country this is very best to do any profession and be a businessmen.

No i never took any entrance examination i did only this course because i wanna be a best in a commerce course i m giving only ssc exam for do any government job i m very good in a commerce side i wanna be a best business man i wanna make some money. I never wanna gave any exam of IIT JEE bitsat cat.

About 95% placement takes place every year average package is 3,50,000 mostly major it giants like infosys, tcs, wipro, cognizant come for placements. Also musigma, morgan stanley are some of the a grade companies offering package above 15 lakhs.

The college provides internship after 7th semester in various core electronic companies. Companies like broadcom, qualcom, zebra, free scale semiconductors, st mictoelectroincs etc give internship. stipend is about 22,000 per month.

Fee structure is same like others if you get admission on free sit then you have to pay around Rs.6000 per semester otherwise rs,45000 per semester now a days both are same we have to pay Rs.60000 per semester which is too expensive for common man.

College management was good i like my college building the most well equipped with green trees and gardens and fountains one bad thing is in rainy season we have to enter in college by water only otherwise nice.

I had listen that this college has too huge one network with companies. Many companies had come last year and they offer good salary package to our college students.

Its good but they have to improve little for more feedback from students side.College management is good.I had never felt any problems.

Annually we have fest, fest was initally funded by college later on they never supported to do event, so no event after that. So we cant compare with other college. There was no event after that.

No, it was not available small group not much facility. Loan was also not available to poor people, mostly people come from management seat by paying donation, so most of outside student.

Campus life was awesome as campus is located in foot hills of mussorie as number of students during my tenure were very less we had very good bond with our seniors and juniors. Gender ratio was around 70-30. Students were from almost each and every corner of country hostel parties were not allowed in campus hostel, so students had to come out to party.

College management is very strong in terms of administration with many army retired and ex-civil service guys in the team. Management had few issues with students but they were resolved aftet discussion between management and students placemnet committee is also very aggresive in their role.

CUSAT, entrance test which is scheduled every year in April month. Examination paper is divided in three group that is physics, chemistry and math. To qualify the entrance, you should clear the cutoff in all three subjects.

A lot company has been registered to come every year for compus. I got 3lac stipend in 2008, Total 4 yrs course.

We had annual function every year apart from that rose day, saree day, etc was celebrated later on we started an Inter college festival named INTEGRITY which was 3 days long and I was one of the founder along with my classmate and I feel proud to say that Integrity is still organised by upcoming batches.

I had joined Vartak college for completing my post graduation (MSc-IT) no prior entrance examination is required for taking admission in this course its purely based on the percentage that you got in your final year of graduation.

College organizes many technical,cultural and social programs to create awareness among the students for what they are supposed to do for the future to inherit well accomplished enviroment for the welfare of humanity.

As the name of college describes it was not a bit similar all the strudents are not satisfiedwid the faculties becuase some are qualified wid only degree which makes them not comfortable to teach.

Extra curricular life was very interesting. We were enjoyed robotics competition as it was arranged by our team lot of guys & girls were participated from our college as well as from external colleges.

Fees structure was expensive if it is compared to common man but the government supported us by EBC (Economically Backward Class) scholarship. Hence we did not found lot of issues with the fees.
