I am from mechanical engineering so there is some companies come of Branch. But companies related to electronic engineering and information technology comes and there is about 100% placement of them. Their package starts from 1.5 lakh to 3.5 lakh.some of companies are mahindra,JCB,Genpact etc.

Fee structure is so expensive. We have to give about 1 lakh rupees per year. But we didn't get 1 lakh like facilities. Each semester fee is about 35000 rupees. Besides it there is examination fees NBA fees University development fees etc.

Yes a good expirence from my college is that in my last year a company named wipro had a campus visit 80 To 100 students attended the campus but unfortunately only 8 students got to the next level.

As I am not a reserve category student so I don't have got any stipend but my friends (sc st students ) were getting the same benefit from the college thats all.

Last year one has to clear the specialization like automobile or power plant etc. The electives will be given 2 chances only to clear one has to prepare the visit report , journals consulted etc.

Tata,SAIL,TCS,Infosys,HEC etc. Stipend to the tune of 5000 to 10000 were offered. One can get himself an opportunity of doing internship by his own also. College helps in sending recommendation.

In line with its objective of being a learning organisation, the company has continuously focused on training and development of its human resource.

Scholarships are available for students beginning their first year at the college. Which are awarded on the basis of their performance in subjects. Another award is given to two final year students on the basis of merit, sponsoring their tuition for the purpose of pursuing MBA at the Raj Soin College of Business, Wright State University.

I was in the evening college and I understand faculty in the day college which was funded by the Govt had better staff. Staff funded by management was average and some of them were literally reading from the books. Only few of them were practical and these days faculty should start teaching what is not there in the book as any one can read the text book and understand especially the theoretical ones.

Course curriculum was aligned to Madras University and it was average it did not match to any of the professional course like CA, CWA. It was bit basic and one could easily clear it fi they are average. This is the reason people opt for more professional courses in addition to Graduation, as these days just graduating does offer you any scope for getting a job.

The course which i have choosen is very good not easy but understood. It is an interesting course. Enjoying it the i am doing it. Feeling very happy about my course selection.

Impression is the big event celebrated after every two years not by their own will but are forced by students. Diwali vacations are celebrted for a month.

Well just like every other college we have numerous events celebrated in our college during our semester. Some of them are listed below with details:-CULTURAL1)MANIFEST- This fest is organised every year by the senior cadets for the freshers so that they get to know each other. This function includes dance program, plays, stand up comedy, singing, fashion show etc. It's like our annual function of college held in February every year. 2) GANESH CHATURTHI - This is one the auspicious festival celebrated in our college as our college is in Maharashtra and here ganesh chaturthi is celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm. During the festival a lot of games are organised like tug and war, box cricket etc. Also djnight is also done at the end of the festival. 3) DURGAPOOJA- This festival is also celebrated in our college during the 9 days of navratra. Pooja happens each morning and evening. A couple of games are organised for the cadets and also dandiya night is also there. 4) TEACHERS DAY- This day is celebrated with joy and happiness just like any other days in our college. All cadets organise various programs for the teachers and make various gifts for them. TECHNICAL 1) GLOBAL SHIPPING SEMINAR- This is technical seminar help every year during March month. A lot of delegates from various shipping companies attends this seminar. A no of experienced and educated Chief engineers and Captain give lectures and presentation about the latest merchant environment and the latest advancement in our field. Various cadets for different colleges also attend this seminar. SPORTS 1) NATIONAL INTER MARITIME SPORTS MEET - This sport meet held ever year in our college where different marine colleges from all over India comes to compete. It is a national competition and our cadets are exposed to national exposure and they can show their talent in various field of the competition like swimming, cricket, basketball, Rowing, boxing, volleyball etc. 2)SUMMIT - This is also one of the recognized sports event organised by our MIT Campus for all the engineering college all over INDIA. Students from different colleges take part in this under various events like basketball, cricket, volleyball, boxing, Rowing,etc. THERE ARE OTHER EVENTS HELD IN OUT COLLEGE1) REPUBLIC DAY AND INDEPENDENCE DAY. - These days are also celebrated in our college with lot of enthusiasm. Chief guest arrives and hoist the National flag. Guard of honor gives him a Salute and parade is also held for the chief guest. Dance and singing events are held during this celebration.

The campus life in our campus is very pleasant. In our campus we have 4 colleges (MIT ID, MIT ISBJ, MIT FT, MANET) and one international SCHOOL( MIT GURUKUL). Our campus has a ratio of 2:1 in gender. 2 of male and 1 of female. Students from all around the country takes admission in our college. Majority of them are from Bihar, Maharashtra, North India. But their is no discrimination among us. As because of our course structure all students needs each other help every now and then so people starts knowing each other well and their is no place for hatred or racial discrimination whatsoever. Our campus celebrates all kinds of festivals and every students takes part in those festivals all the time,no matter what religion they follow when it comes to celebration everyone dances and enjoy with happiness. Their are no political issues in our campus. We don't have president or vice president for student committee in our colleges so there are no political imbalance or issues whatsoever. Ragging is treated as a punishable offence and is taken very seriously in our campus. The students who are caught or filed complained against are dealt severely and are restricated from the college and campus. In our Campus all colleges come together and celebrate every festival and national al holiday as a family. There is no discrimination between anyone.

I currently passed out in 2015 and after my three year stay at the gndec campus has really improved me as a person in general. Course curriculum for civil engg is well organized and focus on basic understanding of subjects. This college follow curriculum guidelines set by punjab technical university jalandhar currently having revised syllabus for civil batch 2011 onwards.

College provide industrial training as well as software training for seventh / eighth semester. For software training there is a separate institute situated within campus as step which provides basic civil as well mechanical software knowledge to students at very reasonable rates. Eg stad pro, primavera etc.

If talk about the campus life really it was awesome because college not only concentrate on studies also in other activities like sports day annual function and labs are good with all the latest machines which are being used in industries these days.

The senior students which i met was well mannered and belongs to good family exam structure was comfortable, students can give they exams them selves , strict gaurds stands always their so that no one can cheat and only fair things happen.

On campus placement most of the companies has come and select the students i had got job through off campus placement in MNC.

College management is good but fee structure for some courses is very costly security is best security in university campus.

Senior students tells me, that the college is very disciplined. They also told me about different competitions held in the college, they also give me information about the teachers that are from many other states and countries and moreover many teachers are also gold medalist in physics, chemistry and other subjects also.

Fee structure is feasible, its yearly fees is about 80, 000 and other fees like practicals and dresses and books are different. Fees was about 30, 000 and other fee like uniform, books, hostel, food is different, but not so much costly. It is affordable fee that is about 50, 000 per month.

First I enjoyed my feeders party in the college which was awesome and after there were 3 more big events which were ales very entertaining and good. College also supports for the international events which is big thing.

The admission was given on the basis of the basis of our 12th class marks. I genuinely opt for this college because I heard so many good qualities,that college really have like education is very good and so more.

During my internship i took a good architectural office in Delhi, In which i worked on some major projects in Delhi, Up east and punjab. Which were tricky as well as lengthy. I got 12k per months during my internship and i tell you it was the best package.

It was a ling 5 year graduation which was not so easier. I had to took myself on the highest level of my tolerance. Along with it i travelled many places for my observation and interest, which was one of the best thing of my college life.

The gender imbalance can be seen quite prominently in this college on an average, 15-17% of the student crowd is feminine, rest are males campus life is quite chilled out even though the infrastructure is inadequate students staying in the hostel have a lot of fun, there are not many restrictions in the hostel the academics aspect need some improvement. The is barely any impetus from the college for pursuing extracurriculars most of the clubs are dormant the college is entirely free of any political activities.

The fees is quite affordable, compared to engineering degree colleges in other regions the college is bound to follow the fee structure prescribed by the University, so there was not much disparity in the fees compared to other Engineering colleges in the region tuition fees and other academic fees would be around 28 to 30 thousand per semester, although in recent times it has doubled to around 50 thousand hostel and mess charges were around 3400 per month.

No . Not any kind of scholarship are given by tha college and not any kind of help given by the collage but you can take education loan by any bank so college not gave you any kind of help to pay ur education fee.

Facilities are good campus are very good .WifI and other facilities are good no sexual orientation .Collage in co- education .Every person are polite here and good so collage are good in this fild.

It was very good. Starting there were lot of activities to make us feel comfortable. And sports and cultural days. There is gender discrimination and no politics no ragging very peaceful college there used to b lot of extra curricular activities.

Feasible. The fees what they are charging here is low when compared to most of the other colleges here. And returns is worth. They have different university and there is fee difference and it will be around 3-5 lakhs for two years.

Campus life is cool here at SKIT. Specially the hostel life.there are hostels for both boys and girls in the campus and full security is there. Every year techno-cultural fest ie named PRAVAH is organized at SKIT. Many types of technical & nontechnical event are organized. Every year a special guest come in college.Labs are okay okay some devices are not operatable.But computer labs are quite good and a large no of computer there.In the technofest many colleges participate with us both boys and girls are given equally importance.

There are 2 internals and 1 external in every sem apart from labs. In the internals exam are taken quite strict manner like original exam hall and less chance of copying because their are 2 teachers in everyroomIn labs exam teachers may cooperate and also send avg good marks to all.Internal are of 90 mins and labs are 2-3 hrs then you can continue the classroom study.

I applied for 3 colleges since i opted for arts there were no entrance exams Ethiraj was the first college i got admitted into the reason i opted for this college is mainly for the reason that I got selected purely on merit unlike other colleges I applied for where first preference was given to catholics in one of the colleges and FC's in other they did not pick me on caste basis or on recommendations no capitation fee just the normal fees no discrimination.

The curriculum was carefully and meticulously picked out every subject including the optional ones were crafted in such a way to the point were nothing was unnecessary the course also covered all the related subjects like economics my main subject was bank management so they included cost accounting and management accounting banking law along with mercantile law, economics, business management, computer application foreign exchange, etc.

The exams were good if you study well otherwise hectic, exam time portions will not be covered you to attend the extra classes and internals lab and to study also. These makes you fell little bit down if you study well it is easy otherwise difficult.

I am from middle class family for me its too much expensive to bear the college fee and hostel fee is too much. I have taken the Educational loan but after my degree i dint get placed in any company on that time i felt very bad.

There were a variety of companies from Microsoft, Amazon to Accolite, Zoho and many more. The stipend ranged from 10,000 to 50,000 per month. The college encouraged 2 month internships. Internships were very helpful for the final placements. The company also gave us a great exposure.

Around 100+ companies came for placements to our college and we aimed to get a 100% placement result. The packages were great ranging from 3.5 lpa for the bulk placement companies and 6.5+ for the dream companies. There were also core companies for the other mechanical courses.
