Campus is really nice. Specially the location. It is located on hills so the.weather is nice. As it is an engineering college gender ratio is 1:4 means 75% are male. We do celebrate birthdays here. We get many workshop opportunities like Robotics etc. We have people from all states of India here and there are some foreigners too. We all live together and there is no gender discrimination. The economic status is good. All are from reputed families.

COM-IT is the technical event of Computer Science and IT department. MESA is the technical event of Mechanical Department. IEEE is the technical event of Electronics Department.REVERB is the cultural event celebrated in the month of February. Their is not participation in these events but these are really enjoyable and I get to learn a lot from the events.Around 50-60% is the participation. And we celebrate all the festivals here.

The competitions are limited to the college events. There are other college fests that can be visited if you're part of the contingency. Hostel parties are amazing. Every big festival is celebrated with loud music, dancing, bonfires, good food. There was even rain dance during holi. Viman Nagar is filled with students and as media college, the SCMC crowd is the most accepting. We have international students coming in as well. All sorts of discrimination is condemned.

After every semester, there is an internship. First three semesters are NGO internships while the next two are industry internships. The stipend depends on the hiring company, but the college takes 70% of your earnings during an internship.

It was good compared to other courses information technology was good for me and we gain good knowledge from that my betech classmete helped me to gain good knowledge in my course.

Yes compared to other colleges we got very good placements because we are having very good placement officer we got good company's like satyam,infoces,l&t etc so many got jobs.

Good experience over all students joining the college can expect good value addition in there skills and a decent start up package earlier in 2005 the collage ranked in top 10 in every survey but from last few years I am not seeing it featuring in the lis

Since it is not a governments college the amount of core companies very less sometimes none .But lot of IT companies are coming every year such as TCS, INFOSYS, L&T INFOTECH, WIPRO etc. Some core companies are HYUNDAI, NISSON. IT companies offering salary package of 30,000 per month. Core if they came they are offering 50,000 to 80000 per month.

Lots of technical symposiums ,international conferences and workshops are conducted every year by every departments. Cultural programs are conducted every year but its not much enjoyable compared to other colleges because of dress codes and certain other strict rules .

Scholarships : KVIT Trust Scholarships for outstanding students in every department. Then Tamil Nadu scholarship and FFE scholarship.

Culture and Facility in our College is good and rated high. Increase of seats in departments affects college standard and placement.

For B.Pharm you have to score in 12th standard having biology group i had merit of around 70% in 12th std and was lucky enough to get admission in ipnu admission in ipnu is by acpc(admission comittee for professional courses) you have to fill online form and apply to the ccolleges you wish for.

Extracurricular activities are excellent various events are organized in nirma campus by different institutes and you can participate in any of the event nirma sports week is good, debates and other are on stage competetions held during cultural as well as technical events.

Fee structure is good. It is low compared to other colleges and also the permanent faculty and the visiting faculty all have very good qualification from the top colleges around the globe. Having all these amazing teachers at low fees, is totally amazing. You get knowledge and values a 100 times more for what you pay.

Almost 25 companies visited our college as of now and still companies are4 coming for placements. A total of 60 or more companies are expected to visit in the coming months. As of now 11 got placed in Barakat, TCS, Idea, Philips, Jaro, RIMS hospital, Wrigleys etc

The institute has an active Career Guidance and Placement Cell. It focuses on overall development of students personality by organizing behavioral skill and human relationship Development Programs, Motivational Lectures, Group Discussions and Entrepreneurship Development Program and we have a dedicated placement cell at our college. last year in mining out of 50 strength 30 got placed in reputed companies most got a approximate package of 5-6 lakhs and three outstanding students got placed at vedanta mining group the package for them was around 24 lakhs per year.some even got job offered at indian cements,ramco package was around 4lakhs.

Mining Dept.Dr. T. Thimmaiah Institute of Technology, KGF participated in XPLODE 2015, a National Mining Technical Fest held at Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi, Goa on 27th and 28th March 2015. we had to travel to goa it was a wonderful experience and every year they celebrate gold rush its a biggest college fest and there will be lot of events like face painting,quiz,d j show,dance,food stalls and lot of fun filled activity they give equal oppurtunity for the students to participate. they hold technical seminar were people from other college participate and win cash price.

Campus is the best as the locality as we all know in dehradun is well known. So it was all fun with time for extracurricular activities like we have tournaments every year for football and cricket also we get a chance to participate in iit roorkee fest and we have the well equipped labs with proper utilization of the things and we keep on arranging the competitions for different schools like doon, welhem's etc and also we have the separate team of robotics that keeps on arranging the seminars.

It is one of the best placement that we have in my time and it keeps on increasing year on year for the top companies like ashok leyland, accenture, wipro, samsung, infosys etc companies came to recuit us and they have taken in plenty. the job profiles that they offered is the best that we can get from a esteemed college like geu.

The college focuses very strongly on placement opportunities for students. The rough figures suggest that almost 90% of the post graduates and 100% of under graduates are placed. The companies that visit our campus are Infosys Cts Bosch national instruments cusco zoho continental etc. An average undergraduate is offered at least 3.5lac p.a while the figure is roughly same for post graduates too.

There is continuous exams and labs to ensure that the students don't slack out. There are constant quizzes throughout the semester which are taken into consideration for the finals. Apart from that the labs are designed in such a way that it tests the students knowledge. The final exams are also designed by the college which again tests the students understanding of the subject.

Placement & job opportunities were there in lower grade and specially in sales like BANK, INTERNET SALES. They had very low placement & job opportunities in high salary packages. Infact that were really very low salaries offered by company that were coming for placement.

I got internship in SAMS FOOD in DELHI. It was good as it gave real road side sales experience & also gave knowledge how business functions in real life at lower end which is sales. They havent provided any stipends.

I was campus life was that life which we miss till the end of our life we live like a child and enjoy with the friends, gender ratio was around 30:70 ,30 % girls and 70% boys in our college the extracurricular was very good they give us opportunities to go to other colleges to participate in National and State level programs and support us to win in those competitions in every event like sports and cultural programs in every every our college organise a techincal meet and event in that program technical project like robotics, programming and other models present in the program and our college invites other colleges to participate in that program to inhance the quality of the projects.

I took UPTU entrance exam in 2003 and passed out with the rank about 7000 (not remember exactly) and my best friends brother told me about this collage and facilities so i decided to get admission in this college for B.tech, Electronic & Communication branch.

Curriculum was very good and properly made to get the job in industry as well as research work. The elective subject Fiber Optical Communication for the optical industry and Nano Technology which is give the knowledge of nano world.

University faculty is very experience and highly qualified. They are specialist in their field.Most of faculty have done Doctorate. They are quite supportive and motivate students to grow.

This is the main problem that the fees is however high. Yes hostel facility is just okay. Food is good. Fees is somewhat above than the budget. Food provided is delicious. Pg's facility is also good. Pg's rent is feasible and acceptable. Rooms are also well maintained and well ventilated.

Yes our college provide internship for many companies. Many companies come with a very stipend and also the overall experience is also good. They provide internship to all the students which are eligible. Many companies come with a very good no of offers and experience is also good.

Placements are good, in other words damm good, pay scale is not so high that is 3-4.5 lakh but number of students having job in their hand is relatively high in comparison with other colleges in punjab or this region.Many companies visit main campus each year having lots of jobs in their hands, if you possess necessary engineering. Skills you will definitely get the job to get job is not difficult for a gnduian the difficult is to get the job in dream companies.

Fee structure is not so like a govt institutes actually does and not so high like private institutes doing with your pocket, it is genuine, genuine enough to provide basic needs and maintain the balance sheet up to the mark of the institute for a poor person obviously it's not feasible but you will definitely get some king of aid in the university, for level up i.e from middle class it is feasible to send their tiny tots in this university.
