Placement is good.We have technical knowledge to get a job easily packages is 1.8-2.5/anum most of the companies conducted written exams like apptitude,reasoning and maths logicals.

Most of companies like 20 approx/year. So many students are placed here. And got call letter also companies list is like WIPRO, HDFC BANK, EFFOCTRONICS etc.

I got 70% in HSC and i wanted to do B.Com from a reputed college and K J Somaiya College is the best college with huge capus in this city. Every student has a dream to tale admission in Somaiya college. So i had taken admission on the basis of this.

Gender Ratio is Equal. Students in the capus really enjoy and there is always a somenone who is givng Birthday party. There is no problem with gender inequality, religion inequality etc.

First i qualify JEE main entrance exam with 210 marks out of 360 and after this i qualify JEE advance exam with 160 marks. i got air 8153 rank and 1353 obc rank. My intrest in civil engineering so my first choice was iit roorkee but my number not so good . Finally i opt IIT BHU.

Considering the external participation, Spirit has very high number of student participation. Every year it is making of around 300 students. I remember Spirit'12 organizing team had to close the registrations before a month citing the accommodation problem.

In the first year and in the first semester there is seven subject physical chemistry computer programming ethics environmental study mathematics introduction to chemical engineering and basic and advanced communication skills one-period laboratory for practice in a week.

Fee for obc and general eighty thousand per semester and for SC and ST thirty-three thousand per semester means total for obc and general is six lakhs and thirty thousand for four years and for sc and st three lakhs only for the whole course.

Selection for the course is through CAT/GMAT or there is also collage internal exam for admission in the course. I gave Collage internal Exam and passed it followed by Group Discussion, Extempore and Personal Interview final Result is based on aver all performance this is only renewed non-residential collage in Delhi-NCR which is offering full time Executive MBA. So, I opted for this collage.

Generally, placement it good for two year MBA course but for Executive Full Time course college does not have any set placement cell or any specific planning for placement. We need to search by our own and we did not got any college help in placements.

Regarding placements, for u.g programs, There is 100% placement, for p.g courses its difficult to place in a company, because they need a greater knowledge than the u.g students. Actually, I placed in CTS, as a mechanical engineering student I didn't opt for an IT company.

I gained a good working experience from my friends while participating in technical events and for conducting too. Students from our college will be mainly focused on extracurricular activities and they will show their talents.

Fee structure was good for poor student, installment system was there it was feasible many students was not able to diposit there fees on due dates, but our college principle gave them extra time our college did not take any extra money from poor students no extra fines were collected from poor student it was really good thing that i noticed at that time.

There was workshop where student made some different things like electric scooter etc we also got chance to work in workshop we are in equal ratio with girls politics was not allowed in college campus about sexual education, some special classes were organise by our college faculty group discussion was done on economic status of our country.

When I was Studying, there was tamilnadu engineering entrance examination there. but now they removed the exam anyone who passed the HSLC(12) with PCM can join this college. If you want a seat in Merit, you have to come through single window counselling which is purely based on the merit.I have opted this college because of the Infrastructure, staff team, awesome placement records.

When it comes to Fees, there are two things to explain. seats are allotted to two category and govt quota and management quota. if you got good marks and come via the single window counselling it will be around 60K per annum, but when it comes via management quota it will be around 80K plus one time donation.these are fees structure till 2012 , not sure about the current year.

Job opportunities are good and plenty around 1500 were placed in many companies ( ctz, tcs, csc, zoho) all were offered above 30k its up to the student to get selected this is where my college shines.

Course curriculum was dry and did not help in any way to improve my knowledge in my course that said it was same as every college in chennai could be better if subjects were little flexible.

Placement and job opportunities should have been high as we have a great course structure but somehow the placement cell had been ineffective in getting good companies Axis bank has been a regular company though with an annual package of 4-5 lakhs. Also a problem is that the companies don't really understand about the curriculum and just go by the regular courses. I think there is a mistake on the part of the University by not marketing the course in a proper manner.

There are all sorts of fests organised in the college .Though the authorities have not been much supportiveAnnual sports fest- runbhoomi All the 13 colleges having bbe/ bms / bfia participate. Mangement fest it has a lesser participants Marketing fest, finance fest, entrepreneur fest these have been irregular events but fetch a good amount of participation Economics fest and cultural fest have a huge participation.

IIT gender ratio is 5 girls in 100 students. Else it was fun. Hostel Party- Bhawan day each year workshops- rare except the HEC events Cultural societies were like drams, music, lit sec, img, spic macay etc.

Need more formulated Alum network. There are more unofficial groups than formal. the insti shall contact all alums and bring them on a common platform. They have all means to do so.

Placements are good,no doubt. Some of the recent companies that visited our campus include TCS, CTS, ITC Infotech, Hexaware, Tech Mahindra, Eclipse solutions. These are the companies to name a few. In all, more than 30 companies visit the campus every year. What is more, the placement statistics has increased as compared to previous years. TCS offered 3.53 L p.a. Tech mahindra offered 3.5 L p.a this year. Hexaware offered 2.5 L p.a , ITC Infotech offered 3.3 L p.a.

There are several extracurricular activities like debates, quiz, dance competition to name a few. The college provides you with everything that you need to lead a good student life and have a good academic background. Needless to say, there are several sports competetions that bring the students and faculties closer.

Many cultural as well as sports events were celebrated throughout my curricullum. Team went participate in inter universities programs. Teams use to go IIT KANPUR FOR ANATRAGINI, IIT DELHI, MUMBAI. Cricket teams went to participate in inter university league. And many more sports.

Hostels were good. As it is deemed to be university polotics was not there. There is approx 50-50 gender ratio, Fresher parties, farewell parties, College cultural fest. Students from different countries come for studies under government exxhange program.

College doesnt offer any internship program. But forums like IEEE, FOCES are hyper active in cec. They conduct internships sometimes in college. It depends on the caliber of students who work for the forums. Other than that students can go to internships in other companies or institutes as college gives a 2 month vacation period every year. No companies come to college unless through these forums. No institute who came offered us any stipend.

There is an active placement cell called TPC working for the college. TCS(TATA) group are main company who recruit students from our college every year. They take about 50% of the students. Other companies who came to our college are Wipro, infosys, Mindtree, Suntech etc. If you have no backlogs then you can get placed easily. They offer the general market salary for beginners. 2.4 lakhs were offered from TCS, i think.

After clearing my Hsc Board exams with 72 percentage I applied for online admission process. It didnt got any best colleges as i expected because of poor percentages and high competition in the industry. Since for earlier two years after my Ssc i have been in Hinduja college i opted for same college for my future studies.

Myself being a CA student appart from my Bcom studies CA curriculum covered almost part of my Bcom practical subjects, it never been so hard to crack for me, but otherwise its liitle bit hard. Since good coaching facilities available in this feild one can never feel a hard like thing in Bcom curriculum.

Overall the college is good but expensive but the facilities provided by them are good and worth living in hostel with mess and good cultural and educational life to live in and a great campus with good quality of teachers and great coordination.

Great coordination from seniors from all the seniors from all the departments in every possible way and being frankly with each other but need to be aware of other bad guys in the college for own safety and a weak alumini network available.

My college does not many extra curicular activities. Students have limited sources of entertainment and even academic related workshops and seminars. With reference to gender, ratio of females to males is almost equal. Race, color, religion is overlooked in my college and that is a good thing I guess. Yes there are some politics in favor of the local students but I guess that happens everywhere.

My college celebrates two major events, the Annual day and the annual technical fest. The tech fest was started just last year and since it was the 1st time I guess it was a success. The annual day on the other hand is an utter bore each year. Im not at all involved in my college events as I feel they are not worth it.

10 companies came for internship offers. All were start ups. No Renowned company. There was a company whatsextra. They selected 5 students after interviews. They gave a stipend of 5k and based on the performance of students they were placed in company permanently.

They are very good in clearing the doubts. Very helpful. Concepts get cleared. They clear concepts by giving real life examples and in a simple and easy way. Sometimes I feel even good is underrated. But some teachers are bad also in teaching.

The fee is a little high For civil it is 2.28 lakhs Hostel fee is 98000 and the hostel facility is good. Our college fee is different for some branch It is category nd rank wise we use to pay by collection or by the loan.

It was very simple and very flexible for students. We have to choose the teacher by choice we have many facilities as we can meet the teacher at any time Our staff is very nice. They are supporting pillars for students
