That JEE was just one of the exams you did not succeed in, that doesn't mean you are a failure in life. There are plenty of other exams which could bring you to the same level as the IITans and often above them, in your respective fields.

MBA Banking and MBA Capital Markets both are heavily finance focused courses. I chose MBA Banking since I was planning to work in Financial Risk Management for banks area. Curriculum I would say is mix of good courses as well as very theoretical and not so useful courses good courses such as Strategic Finance, Trade finance and not so useful ones such as Bank Policy and Security, etc but one thing for sure, you wont feel a comprehensive MBA, because you do not have much of other areas such as marketing, HR, etc. Even in finance, it is heavily focussed in banking only, but you would miss areas such as Venture Capital, etc.
Placements are okay types on average, our Banking batch got ctc around 7.5 8 lakhs highest was 16 lakhs while lowest was 5 lakhs most of them were financial companies, since psu banks were not allowed to take placements into private colleges.

Campus life was such a fun. Hanging out with friends in the college canteen, where actually I ended up learning more about the outside world by interacting with fellow students. Sports competitions were my favorites and I also happened to win the chess championship in the college. Debates were also a regular feature. I used o attend the debates more as an audience. I found those debates really educating. Extracurricular activities always attracted me more than the lecture stuff.
Sabrang was the annual cultural festival of Deshbandhu College. It continues to be an annual feature, where plays, rock shows and fashion shows are a big draw for the students. Several departments organise seminars on a regular basis which, I found to be more informative than the usual lectures. Overall, the atmosphere in the college was fun-filled and the students used to participate in cultural events with full gusto.
Hostels are really good with all amenities but mess food is not at all good, yet you have CCD, Dosa and so many other options where you can have anything better.

There is a very good alumni program. Every year alumni meets are held.
The college management holds many events. Every year almost 25 events are held at campus. Sports activites play a key role. Debates are held to develop leadership qualities in students.
