In our branch the male ratio is 70% and remaining are girls.our college will conduct sports competitions in every semester. Feasible. Not much expensive. First year students provided with text books. All years provided with notebooks. The fee structure suits the facilities. Trustee of kind hearted, sometimes does fees concessions if student did well in academics.

College campus life is very interesting for students. Daily debates are the part of college life. The gender ratio(boys:girls) is around 100:30. If we talk about economic status mostly middle class societies students are there. Usual politics are there in our college. Evening life is very much interesting in our college specially the debating environment and get-to-gether of friends.

Campus recruitment was there by Infosys company, Wipro, TCS and many more other companies. These companies provide better packages. These companies recruit for the foreign position too. Many other mechanical, civil and electrical companies came to our college for the on campus placement.
Curriculum was good it contains all the stuff. But it was of no use after engineering while working in the industry a little bit is used at some places. It was good as we had the opportunity for the lots of practical knowledge. We had different types of labs.
No placement, only offcampus during my degree. Only 22 of them selected in this one from ECE department others are from other department. Infosys, accenture, bpo, tcs etc.they offer 20000 during training period. After training period the salary will be increased.
Fee structure is given by anna university they gave all receipt except book fee receipt. The fee i paid is 32500, in my class all students pay 32500, if whether it is management or councelling.

At that time, fee is Rs. 26000 per year and initially there are no scholarship as well. This fee is burden to a middle class family but the fee is all same for all engineering colleges. As I travelled to other town, my college provides decent buses and they charged around Rs. 7000 per year which is feasible amount.
As I passed out in the year 2010, there are very less opportunities available due to huge recession in 2009. But my college tried to bring some companies:Seagate - 2.8 lakh pa, Infosys - 3.5 lakh pa Seagate is the company where they selected around 60 students and didn't provide offer letters to any one.

The faculties are great. They are moulding us to become the great visionaries of tomorrow. They are all very experienced in what they do and the things they teach. Most of the time, we have a discussion based class where we are asked to share our views which helps us to understand the things we learn in a much simpler way. This even helps them to understand each student, their ideas and thoughts which they look upon to and guide it in a proper way. However, at times, a lot of assignments are given all together not considering the work and assignments given by the other teachers. This puts us into a lot of pressure and backlogs, which at times puts the students into a lot of stress. Some teachers are friendly and considers the problems of the students, however, some do not consider and rather believes that it's just an excuse which disheartens the students. But, I believe this might be the story of every schools and colleges. The faculties as an overall teaches us based on their experiences and gives us examples of their work and projects they undertook in their work which helps us to understand the course better. They believe more in practical work than just theory.
The college fest, Utopia is the major event held in college two times every year. The first college fest is the Mini Utopia held around Oct-Nov. This is basically for the freshers to participate and show their various talents. the seniors try their best to maximize the freshers participation which helps them to get along with the college lifestyle and environment. It is a two-day fest where every society tries their best to make their events outshine. It ends with a DJ night, where everyone dances to their maximum. The other event, which is the main fest, UTOPIA is held in and around Feb- March. This is a three day event where the entire college participates. The installations is one of the few things you shouldn't miss if you're in SPA. The students work day and night to make their college look its best. EVen Graffiti and Wall Paintings throughout the college buildings are done, where the students show their creativity. Many outsiders are also called to come and perform in the college. It is a fun 3 day night where students forget their class owrk, submissions, etc. and just dissolve themselves in the fest.
After scoring EAMCET with 21587 rank in 2007 , I got seats in different colleges, thinking a lot i decided to join in this college due to 1 Its belong to Andhra university (where the subject is difficult)2. I came to know about this college through my senior, where the say this the good place to study and increase our inner skills and Attituade.
I studied EEE which is one of the difficult course in engineering first year facility are common for all department, and the faculty members are well subject knowledge experts and the lab experience are well good ,External labs are so difficultly .
Gender ratio was better than most other engineering college, hostel parties were fun much liberty was given, extra curriculars were encouraged, workshops were good, cultural society was magnificent and tolerance with regards to gender, diversity, race, religion, sexual orientation, political and economic status was shown. There cannot be more diverse a cultural than Manipal.
MU CET, a separate entrance test is taken in which I scored 100 in 250. I was initially in the extended merit list but later moved up the list and got the branch I applied for (chemical). I chose this college over other colleges because of its magnificent campus, good reputation and placement cell.
This topic should be there that faculty was awesome they wanted to make the student scholar. They were doing hard work to make a student scholar and brilliant. They were serious about discipline as well as study. They used to be in discipline and take regular classes of subjects. If there was any doubt on subjects, then students can go to them and clarify his doubts
We used to get the syllabus which used to be released from corporate of Chennai for the national level. The syllabus suppose to be about various subjects like engineering design, Plastics material, workshop technology, Plastics processing and it was very tough to study, but the teachers were very good and sensitive for students study.
About the fee structure during year 2006 on that time culture of free seats and paid seats i was selected in free seat hence I had paid around Rs 1 lack for the whole course of engineering present course fee is different as per my point of view it is not expensive if we see the college faculty, infrastructure and many other activities.
About the events celebrated in our college technical good projects sent to faridabad industrial association and there we have to present presentation cultural sports activities, college FEST and many other eventsIt all about the individual and team participation and college had provided such infrastructure for above said events.
I took our state level exam EAMCET in which I scored 90 out of 160 and I got in Andhra university. I opted this particular college bcoz this is the best college in my state and naval architecture branch is in only our university and isn't there in any other.
The campus is good in area wise but should be made vehicle free campus like IIT. There is 33% reservation for females in every branch and remaining for boys. There is no gender bias or harrasement. No kind of political issues are encouraged in campus.

Well my college is having a good alumni Network as they are in contact with each and every student almost who has studied from PIET. They are very possessive about the Alumni. They call Alumni to tell their experience to the present students.
Not good because the company came in this college is not give package more than 5 lac only 2-5 students gets package of mere than 5 lakh and other will get less than 5 lakh package which os not good for student because the expectation of student is high they think they get good package in this college.
Course structure is good because what student wants they provide to us and also the course structure is good as compared to other college and they will give some other course with PGDM course and they give good facilities and also their way of teaching is good on this way.

Yeah we have a vast network of alumni some of them are even trying to hired the land of rangaraya college for own purposes but many other were good they have donated much for the college and hostel development.
Its total 5 n half yr course you can fund some good faculty just here and there most of the faculty doesn't talk much about your study would be somewhat better clinically only pgs are available to guide you.
The campus life is compopsed of rich ambience that no nit in india will be havinng, and the library consists of large numebr of books, and also evry sports activity will be done and college will give more importance in the extra curricular activities and also we have 30 clubs in the college related to the different activities such as painting club, youth red cross club, nature club and many more the gender ratio is about 2:3.
The course consists of 4 quarters for the first year and 3 quarters for 2nd year and for every quarter there will be 6 subjects and case studies, presentations, class participation will also count for the curriculum, by the end of mba we will be dealing with almost 42 subjects, which gives an indepth knowledge about the MBA.
No placements. On some courses, work placements are compulsory in order to get your degree, while on others you can opt to do a placement as one of your modules. If this isn't the case on your course then you should still think about arranging a placement. Your careers service should be able to help you with this.
Whole course curriculum is based on Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela. No research work is done here. Here u have just got b.tech degree in 4 year if you clear you all paper. Free electives is provided by the university but No electives provided by college at the time of registration.
Placements and Job opportunities are quite good in my opinion. Being the Alma Mater of the CEO's of some biggest companies in the world such as Satya Nadella ( CEO, MICROSOFT) and Rajeev Suri (CEO, NOKIA), it attracts quite a few decent companies for it's placement season. Microsoft, CISCO, Oracle, Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Deloitte to name a few.
Mit Manipal has 3 main exams in a semester. These include two sessionals of 15 marks each and one end semester exam of 50 marks. The rest 20 marks are for assignments/project quizzes etc. Labs have internal continuous evaluation of 60 marks and an end sem
