This is a scholarship offered by mgm to the 1st engineering students who have taken admission in the college in 2014. It is a merit cum means scholarship for engineering students whose annual family income is less than Rs. 1 lac. Preference will be given to the students whose family income is less than Rs. 60,000. 300 scholarships would be given to the engineering students. The selected students will be given Rs. 3000 per month for 4 years. maharastra goverment alos offer scholarships to Class 10/ ITI, MBBS & MBA students underthis scholarship scheme.

Course structure is fantastic. By the end of fourth year you will be a master in hotel management. College is providing excellent practical labs and training sections. We had a lot of workshops from famous personalities from Hotel sector. College is having a good tie up with all the five star hotels at Bangalore. Students will get frequent visits and on job training in all these hotels.

The most beneficial thing about the internship was that we were actually allowed to do everything that the staff are allowed to do except be involved in the research. We could create our own schedules and got to choose what we wanted to do each day, which was also beneficial.

Overall life in campus is very nice and memorable. This is one of the biggest campus in India. Campus is having computer lab and sports rooms. Debate competition is organised by drishtant society in college. Diversity can be seen in campus in terms of male female ratio and students from various states come here for study.

Curriculum is very well organised with a focus on need of skills in real time business.The course id designed into 8 semesters for 4 years and covers all the important courses which help in growing in your career. First year course is same for all students and then it keep on specific based on the area chosen.

When i got into GCT my cutt off was 197 out of 200(obc). The difference between a general candidate and obc candidate would be just around 0.5marks. GCT do not have any entrance exams. It all depends on the cut-off marks i opted for gct because it is one place where you can build upon your other talents apart from academics. They give you all the freedom in the world to develope skills on your own.

The course curriculum is good they are planned in a sequential order the electives you take in the final year are mostly chosen by faculties but in some cases you do get your chances to choose but not more than between two subjects. Faculties as expected in a government college are all experienced but in some cases me people handle classes in the absense of faculties.

Positive points this college is well recommended to the future students who wish to join the college and I am happy that i got my placement through this college. Taking out the bad aspects,it is better to look for the good options first in priority.

There are so many activities held every quarter of the year. All the activities are completely organized for the benefit of students and also it is very much useful since I had many good experience with them.

Campus life is excelent and have many diversified students and have a wide variety of cultural sports competition,cultural festivals etc.

The course offered is good and has dual specialisation,faculties are very coperative and experience.

I took IIT entrance.I got 85 percentage. The college is very standard in my locality. It is very funniest experience in the college.There is so many friends I have.

I took BOPEE entrance test.I score 117 out of 200. Thus got a seat in SSM college of engineering. I opt this college because my friends suggested me who have got well paying jobs now after completing their studies in the same college.

Many of my batchmates have got adjusted in private as govt sector.Bharat petroleum lemitted came to you campus in our last semester. They offered jobs to many students after a screening test.

They conducted entrance exam called DIET. I was scored 80 marks out of 100, this is my own decision course to choose.

Yes it was ery good. My college was good for students which were came to study there have many options to excel your skills. There are many events,conferences for management for detailing concepts.

It was good with many programming subjects and also management topics. Enjoyed a lot course time in college. Learned many things in college with friends and faculty. Project work and all was good.

Campus life in the college is full of colourful moments. Annual Sports Meet held every 2 year later in which present teachers,alumnies and students take part. Events like Cricket,Badminton,Track and Field,Chess,Carrom and many others organised as a part of the Sports meet. A huge amount i.e 4-5 lakhs is budgeted as expenses of the sports meet. The total intake of all 5 departments are 270. Each department has 60 nos of students excluding CST Dept. Its intake is 30. A ratio of 1:5 between boys and girls there. There is students union which includes studenta from either hostel or non hostel. An election is happened every year where there is no political party but there is two opponents ie Hostel and Non-hostel. Students from different religions mainly Hindu and Muslim come here to study. There is a fund of studenta union which maintains the cultural and oraganisational development of the college. Rest of these Govt is responsible for the infrastructural developement of the college. A lot of laboratories and workshops are presents here for different deparments. For Mechanical department there are 4 workshops named Machine Workshop,Fitting shop,Forging & Foundry shop and Pattern & carpentry shop. Laboratories like Aplplied Mechanics lab,Fluid mechanics lab,Automobile lab etc present here. Every department has also a strong infrastructure like mechanical department.

Every year students union organised different cultural programmes like Freshers Welcome ceremony,Farewell ceremony and Grand ceremony. There was no particular name of these ceremony. The main cultural function is named REUNION is hdld every 2 years later. This is the most awaited moments for all the students. The programme longs two days amd two nights. Reknown bands and artists came in this programme and make it a grnd success. Most of the students participated in college programmes. They took part in singing songs,cultural and regional dance,drama,quiz,recitation etc. They are also inagurated in performing well in sports also.

In the 3rd year of my engineering our college allows "Edubotics Innovation Lab" to establish their robotics lab in out college campus and that was a great decision for students who are really interested in robotics stuff. I also join that lab and first I'd learnt the basic embedded C language and about microcontrollers (atmega 16) and learnt some basic application of robotics and microcontrollers. Then for my summer internship for 3rd year i further join that lab and then I'd learnt a lot. We (team of 6) made different projects all based on sensors like ultrasonic, infrared, voice module, passive infrared etc.Now about companies that visit our college - Recently like in my 7th sem different companies did visit our college like Hindustan Time, HDFC, Good Through Solutions, and more but I'm more of a technical guy so always prefer a technical company to do job for so I didn't take their placement procedures.

Like I just said different companies visit our college for placements and a lot of talented students got placement in those companies. But it actually doesn't depends on college for placement all they can do can call company for a visit now its students choice their preferences about job field. But yeah our college cann some good companies and students (talanted obviously) always get placed.Package always varies in between 2-4 lacs per annum.

Campus life is joyful here. There are many competition held here related sports or debates . We have almost every game facility here politics is almost zero here every year each hostel organize hostel night, cultural societies organize many event. and there is nothing to worry regarding gender or religion here.

The standard of study is good, i m not saying it is the best but the effort by faculty is really impressive they are always ready to help you. Faculty's standard is high as it is a college funded by MHRD so one just cant become a faculty here they have to pass the exam and face the tough interview.

Our college have good events mainly once in a year we will have a event named for cater which is a national level event other than that we have annual day and many more studen chapter events like NSS, IEEE, IEEE, robotics etc.

Telangana government provides scholarship for BC and EBC students who belongs to Telangana state of amount 35000. The students eligible for the scholarship are those who got seat from government quota.

The General Aptitude section seemed good and consisted of easy questions. There were logical reasoning and few english questions. I noticed there were more numericals questions ( in which you have to give answer using digits rather than MCQ in which choices are given ) and required technical understanding, in the main section.
