There is very good alumni network of our college. The old alumnis have made an organisation which provides funds to the deserving students to pay their educational fee and expenses.The passout seniors also visit campus frequently. I recently met with my passout senior in the college. He is working ar Disney Cruise Liners and his personality really deflects his hardwork.

The placement and job opportunities are very good. Almost every hotel and retail brands including Hyatt Hotels,Oberoi group, Taj Hotels, IHG Hotels, Hilton Hotel, Jet airways Mcdonald, dominos visit the campus for interviews giving a salary range from 11000 to 30000. Last year 174 out of 210 were placed from the college side.

Placements and job opportunities are good it depends upon students work and efficiency different companies expect different kind of work retail brands prefer systematic project with all the steps and details a designer may prefer something new a collection creative way of presentation the package starts from 3lac pa to 7companies like shahi exports arvind lifetsyle brands landmark group myntra and designers like jj valaya sabyasachi etc.

Students have to download the admission form fill it and send it with the required amount of DD. You ll get your admission card and have to give a GAT and CAT test conducted on the same day. Once you clear these tests you are sent the dates of situation test where you have to make a creative item with the things given to you, After clearing this you get your rank and accordingly you can opt for your course and centre.

I choose computer science engenering grade in these college CSE grade was good in these college but my first two year course good faculty was first two yeras good after that teaching faculty is not good compare to previous two years.

My opinion about college life was good extracurrical activities was so much excellent in these college and also labs and sports competitions was good overall i give 8 star out of 10 for extracurricular activities in these college.

Most of the college staff is good in expertise of their subject. At the same time they are very less understanding except for a few .It might be because they had just come out of college and they too have recent experiences how students feel.

I did my internship at my home town ,jammu. As i go to mu home in every vaccation , so i choose to do my internship there only.I basically did my internship at BSNL(Bharat Sanchar Nigham Limited). Jammu. I was bveing paid 500 pm as stipend.

Exam structure was very relaxing apart from class tests (whose marks are nowhere to be added), one midsem and one endsem exams were being carried out in each semester of six months almost 2 3 labs were conducted each week.

That time got admission through AIEEE. I am having keen interest in Mechanical Engineering and NIT Jamshedpur's Mechanical Engg stream is having good placement that why i opted for mech stream in NIT Jamshepur.

Gender ratio is too less. It may be around 1:8 girls and boys. Hostel parties are one of the best in the institute. Labs are one of the best in India. We have respective grounds for each and every sports. All the facilities are of state of the art. We have litsoc and techsoc events going on through out the semester. They include debates, dance, western music and light music events, treasure hunts, writing events, speaking events, acting, photography, film direction and so many events in litsoc. Techsoc has robotics, ic engines, coding, analytics, data analysing and many other events. There are sports competitions for every sport. Hostels contest among themselves for a trophy. Our is one of the most freedom guaranteed institute. U have each and every right. No discrimination on any basis.Honourable mentions - Indian National Cricket team practices in our institute cricket ground. I met almost all of them and famous personalities in all fields are invited to our campus for various lectures and talks.

Saarang( Cultural fest) - It has a footfall of around 50000. It is a 5day fest which includes Classical night, Choreo night, Edm night, Rock show, Popular night.Many world class artists performed in our institute. Last year Padmashri Shobana, Karnivool, DJ Nucleya, Agam, Sunidhi Chauhan were in our institute.Shaastra(Tech fest) - It is an ISO certified fest with a huge footfall. It has got all types of competitions, workshops, lectures, demonstrations. It is a must for tech enthusiasts.There are many more department fest's with each department having their own fest.

Fee is feasible for Indian Citizens for NRIs or students with US citizenship fees can be upto 4 5 times what Indian citizens would pay for example i paid a fee of 25,000 per semester while the US citizens paid 1 lac per semester the hostel charges are not that high there is no extra money spent for books as well since the books for every semester are issued from the library itself.

There was a good level of competition in all the extracurricular activities. Since every batch comprises of a good mix of people from different parts of India. Not only this, there are a lot of students from Nepal and US as well given the reputation the College holds, there is a very high level of participation and competition in all events.

Labs was good, but teacher did not tell us about software they did not give us a good experience for computer we were stupid that we got admission there well my opinion on campus life that i got few good friends only.

There had no placement, they just making fake promises as like narindera modi i tried to talk with them about job or placement, but they did't give any opportunity now I am doing a small work very bad.

The cultural feast named SWAYAM covers it all it has so many events covered in it there was uneven gender count though the guys are more in this college i managed to attend a LINUX workshop conducted by IIT BOMBAY one will find the count of local Bangaloreans to be the maximum they are very nice offcourse there were proper equality among students from various locations.

First of all this college has strict rules against ragging so who ever gets admitted be calm in case one still becomes a victim of ragging you can always go ahead and complain to the anti ragging committee seniors were so very helpful to me it really depends which seniors one is referring to i had a good set off seniors who were even more close than my classmates.

Placement was good following are the companies which we have offered placement internship opportunities to our students are Infosys, Accolite, HP, Persistent Systems, Air Tight Networks, Protiviti, Hitachi, eth Limited, Indian Army, IBM, Amazon, Sokrati, Savy Software, Reliance Jio, Vodofone, Helical, ACS, Mavenir, Etech, Cummins and others .

Campus life was very good and impressive. There were discipline maintained. There were lots of occasions and festivals like Holi, Deepawali etc celebrated during our course tenure. They regularly organize debates and cultural activities, seminars in the campus. And encourage more and more students to take part in those events and extracurricular activites. They organise sport week and many students take part in these activities.

I took exam of Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. I scored more than 80% marks in entrance exam and scheduled in 1st counselling. I selected this college because i am a resident of Roorkee itself and BSM college is one of the best college in Roorkee.

We have Nakshatra as the Tech Festival the fest last for 4-5 days with compititions like paper-presentation, cultural activities etc there's a big fest organized at the dombivali branch of the college students from our college are invited there too.

Didn't got to talk to many of them yet had seen our college rankers that got placed at godrej some of our students are lecturer in our college they always advice us to didn't have any backlock and be all Clear in all the Semesters.

There is no internship in this course I think they should provide the internship facilities in this course because the practical experience is better than the theoretical experience.

The senior are good there is no raging in this college all senior are very helpful you can take admission in it there is no tension of raging in it all teachers are very kindfull.

I pursued lateral entry batch from 2006-2009, which was more practical than some nasty mere teacher throwing my project although I held interstate CBSE biology highest scorer degree.

Alumni network is not so strong. People are often left disconnected once they depart from college and get thorugh their professional lifes. A proper channel should be provided to continue the network association

Placement and Job opportunities offered are good. Many reputed companies come for campus interviews and hire freshers. They groom the candidates during various on the job training as per their requirements

Frankly most of the students think that as it is a government college,they will not be having their classes regularly,but this college changes your perception completely you will have to attend your classes regularly otherwise you will not be allowed to give the semesters.

Fee structure is feasible in fact its cheap. Per every odd semester you have to pay 32000 rupees and per even semester you have to pay 1500 rupees. Extra charges will be applied if you choose hostel facilities and there is a huge discount for the TFW candidates.

We have one technical fest named 'Zephyr' which is organized in the month of September (odd sem).There are many awesome events being organized in zephyr like LAN gaming, coding, technical paper presentation, Technical debate, robotics, sports events and many more.Besides, we have a cultural fest named 'Sojourn' celebrated during end of February (even sem). Sojourn consists of dance activities, skits, sports, traditional activities.Apart of this TCET conducts two days workshop named 'Multicorn-W' in March for the developinh technical skills.

Apart from HSC exams, qualifying for the entrance exam is also a must for admission in various engineering institutes.I had given MHT-CET entrance exam which is conducted by DTE, Maharashtra, scoring 96/200 marks which paved me a way to enter Thakur college of engineering and technology.It is one of the best institute of Mumbai having excellent infrastructure and teaching facilities with excellent record of placements over the years.Apart from this, proximity is also another factor which led me to finalize my admission.

Annual event is their major event where a lot of sports and cultural activities happen where students can showcase their talent. Apart from that there is an annual cricket tournament happens which is inter department. A quiz competition also takes place and students are awarded with certificates and momentous.

Senior students are connected through yahoo groups and all are very helpful. They tell us how to proceed with your careers after passing out. They also tell which certifications will be helpful to pass out students. They also guide through different vacancies in the company

Here in college more importance is given to the academics. And frequently they keep conducting seminars and workshops depending upon the nature of the students. Gender ratio depends on each branch. In CS, EC, TC you may find equal number. Whereas in AT and ME most of them will be boys.

I had taken CET - kea and scored 16k ranking. And I chose Electronics and Communication Engg. This is a branch where we deal with Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer science. And this is really good in terms of teaching and infrastructure.
