My campus life was very funtastic just the way i had given title to this comments. There were many discriminations among students but our teachers knew very well how to handle this and maintain peace between students. We had periodic debates, workshops, competitions.
My college may not be the best but it wasnt the worst either, my college did not have much space for students to stroll during breaks and also some of the teachers are too new and mild so they are not able to handle a class full of michievous students.

I took AIEEE exam and got a rank where I was lacking from more than 200k aspirants.Got an admission in a college in Punjab & I joined. That was a pathetic experience.Applied in Apeejay College of Engineering & got the stream EIE, which was not a good stream but still I joined because the college is in NCR.Thank God there was no counselling session but yes the registrar was an old guy and he almost torchered me n my father for 45 mins repeating the same lines.
Fests were good and my college was known for producing players of Football and Volleyball & badminton.I used to play football and I was good with that playing at defence position.I also participated in Sprint races with which I was good with. Never won the first medal but yes got the silver medal for a relay race.Table tennis was the best thing to do in the hostel where approximately everyone was waiting for his turn to come.
Good. I took the internship in the fourth year under a private company which was good and lots of other students got good chance of internship in different other institutes( private and public sector companies). Some of my friends did good training under renowned organisations and received good stipends at that point of time, that was arranged personally though, nowadays the situation might have changes with better internship facilities arranged for students and stipends to students. if somebody have consistent good results throughout he/she is bound to do good internship and achieve good stipends etc.
Good, the course curricula was good and was given by wbut since the college was under the aegis of west bengal university of technology. Faculty-wise it was good although the number of faculty was a bit less than adequate that time( during 2001-2005). However the faculties present that time was good in terms of technical expertise and teaching techniques. The course curriculum was in line with what needed to be to be a good it engineer. If some students give their best attention to studies as per the curriculum he/she is bound to achieve good results.
I have appeared EAMCET entrance examination and got 9321 rank in general catageory i have opted computers course in this college as this college is famous for computers department, they provide better environment than other institutions the admission process is simple if we get good rank in EAMCET entrance examination.
My seniors are very co-operative with us, they used to give good suggestions to participate in alumni activities we all together with good team spirit conducted alumni in our college which got good response from the students other colleges around my college.

To be frank Our college is not so good in giving the students the opportunity of internships our college doesn't meet with this kind of thing in giving jobs and opportunities to the students after giving the degrees they treat us like they become duty free.
Yeah we joined our college because of the fees structures it is too low in cost and because of this we face so many complications like we cannot get job opportunities in our college. If we want to find we have to search by ourselves.
As i said you can have great campus experince here, It is a Hi-Fi college with great sports fests and educational workshops. It has no gender discriminatttion. There are students from many parts of country and evn from various foreign countries but never had any probles about that, security and infrastructure is good within the college.
I Kind of Expensive. The annual tution fee is 1,25,000 rupees, since being a Global (got stundents from different states and countries) and private college it may be common but it being from middle class family i am to pay my loans for two more years.

The campus life is pretty lively not only do we have an annual fest, an alumni meet and cultural programmes, there are also regular half-day events held, especially during the winters, when outdoor activities, such as gardening and badminton are encouraged. The girls regularly participate in inter-college activities, such as quizzes, debates etc all across the city, and I have never felt any discrimination in the campus during my stay.
Since it is a government college with very less fees, there is hardly any need to avail loans however, students with consistently good performances and from a poor financial background are given book grants and living expenses scholarship.

By the time of 2013, when I passed out, there were hardly any placements. In my 4 year of engineering life, i saw only 5 or 6 companies which came for hiring. If one company comes, they would hire 40 - 45 students at one visit. IBM and some local companies also came. Once recruitment for army came. And some number of times BPO companies came. IBM and definitely offered hefty package whereas local companies and BPO offered decent packages.
College used to organize technical events regularly in which dance competition, fashion show, PC game tournament, food festival were included. Many other colleges also came to participate in this festival. These festivals were sponsored by third party organizers namely IET 360 and TECHASTRA. College organized for bands also but very rare. These events used to be a big platform as other college students also used to participate.
Alumni network of was quite good as the alumni was often called for giving guest lectures and real life experience in the ad world. We learnt what we should expect when we pass out and where we would get placements and what our expected salaries would be etc.
Some faculties were actually ex Alumni whereas some were actual industry experts which made the course quite interesting. Some professors made the subjects very interesting by giving us maximum practical tests which didn't require any book knowledge.

Sports: Its the best place for sports as IIT Kanpur has over 1000 acre campus, cricket, football, hockey, squash, tennis, Swimming pool, indoor baddminton, pool and what not can be named. Around 10 clubs like aeromodelling, robotics, electornics, programming, dance, drama, musicals.
Very affordable education cost. Since it public institute, so government is spending a large amount for some of the countries best students. Currently annual fees is about 1.2L. But institute offers large no of scholarships (around 40% students) in amount of 15k to 60k.

I had written kerala entrance examination and had achieved average marks for it. Still I opted Rajagiri college and joined here in the management quota seat. I preferred Rajagiri because it brings me alot of oppertunities and offer me a chance to excel in my society.
Campus life in my rating is 7/10. Here the college always looks upon studies as a whole. Noone cares much about the talents that are hidden in the students. So I am not much impressed . We just have only chances when our college day or bharatham program is held.

Aakriti:- it is interbranch competition between 4 branches in our colege in which all cultural and sports events take place. Techaakriti :- it is technical interbranch competition between four branches in which all coding, games and all debating quizzing take place. Solutions:- it is intracollege technical fest in which colleges all around pune participate organised in jan-feb and many companies sponsor and give internship on basis of this. Pace:- it is sports fest in which colleges around pune participate and all sports event take place. it is also organised in jan-feb.
in every batch of 300 students about 50 girls are there. there are various clubs operating in college so there are lot of extracurricular activities take place on regulat basis. Almost all students are from north india and all 300 are from army background only. there are various clubs like robotics, OSS, dramatics, Debate etc. all all are from army background all have same economic status. hostels are good so hostels parties are there but organisation is strict on that. there are no such politics and ragging in our college.
I don't know as i was a junior. But my sir explained all about it Seniors will be taken by some well knowned companies and give stipend upto 50000. I was also intrested in such internship.
Fee structure is so expensive. They are taking buss fee -22000 And remaining fees were expectional as they are acceptable. As being an corporate institution we have to accept them.

PSG conducts a separate set of interview to get into MSc. Software Engineering 5 year integrated course. First of all your cutoff (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) but be above 85% to apply for this course. Separate application form will be available from May for this course in the college website and in the college help desk. You can attach the required documents along with the form and send it. Once you are selected you will be called for an interview. In the interview, they will ask you questions (apptitude, personality test). Depending on how you perform you will either be selected, wait list, rejected. I had 97% cut off and I was selected on the spot in the interview. I opted for this course because it gives PG degree in 5 years, it has a unique internship programme for one year where you get exposure working in MNC. And above all PSG tech has 100% placement guarantee.
PSG is all about studying and getting placed. There are lot of extracurricular activities too but the college mainly focuses on studies only. labs are good in my college they provide facilities that would aid a student in learning about industry used technologies. PSG alsohas basketball, cricket and karate, Table Tennis, Chess, NCC, NSS, English, Enterpreneur clubs. There are various competitions conducted in these clubs every now and then.

Placements are superb in nature for the college to possess good results and the major companies give good job opportunities for the students who having better percentage in overall semesters the companies are Ucal Fuel systems, Infosys, TCS, CTS, Chettinadu Cements. Packages will be veried to 1 to 3 lakhs.
More companies are internship in my college. That companies also certified with muncipal corporation of assistance like gj solutions ,tech mahendra. So i feel i can get more of experience.
I am completed my diploma. Then i will write the e-cet exam. Then in counseling i got admission in this college. I prefer this college for good education and placements.
All most all of my math mate were placed. More than 70% have placed in on-campusing, Lots of Big E&P companies have come like Reliance, Shell, Cairn, ONGC along with service provider Schlumberger, Geoservices. The average CTC was about 8 Lakh annum. Shell was one of the highest with 14 lakh annum.
There is no such internship in this course. I have going for summer training at Hutti Gold mine. A great experience to attend that training. No particular stipend was there for this mining training. Food and accommodation were free there.
I do not stay in campus so I do not have any idea about the campus life. Every month there are competitions- related to design or dance or any other creative events or workshops. People are good but its very difficult for a non maharashtrian to be comfortable.
During graduation I had undergone internship of 4 months. The stipend offered to me was 7500 rs monthly. Companies so not come in architecture college. Students have to themselves apply for the internship and had to go through the interview.

we have a 2 short term internships during the college, in which no company offers the stipend. i went to different telecom companies each time and had a very good experience. first company i went is a telecom hardware manufacturer and it supplies the equipments to many other telecom companies, there i had a good learning about the testing of the product and the lifecycle of the manufacturing.second company was a telecom service provider which was trying to develop there own hardware and software for the telecom domain and they are much successful in the industry.
Placement was ok, but almost all the mates were placed very soon and rest went for the higher studies. now a days many companies are coming for the campus. software companies and telecom companies are coming for the campus. they are also offering good packages too.college is also taking initiative to approach the companies to come to the campus to see the college culture so that they can have more and more companies every year. for this college has made a team from the students and teachers to do this work, this helps to develop the individual personality too.
College life is good with various festivals and programs in the college. Also there are various workshops for automobiles and ROBOTICS.Expert lectures are provided for informational and syllabus purpose.Fresher parties and farewell parties are organized each year.
Though placement record is not so good but many companies visit the college specially from IT sector. The placement for the branches like computer science and information technology was good than other branches. Many students are placed with package with 2-3 lacs.
