Overall the Placement was good. Since it is located outskirts of Kolkata, there is less On-campus placements. Though, the shortage is overcomed by college organised Off-campus Placements. I myself sat for TATA Steel Larsen & Toubro, Jindal and Jay Balajee. I got placed in Larsen & Toubro bagging the highest package in the batch. In the near end of our 8th Sep, several companies came including Alstom.By the time, we passed,almost 62 were placed out 68 batch strength.

The college is affiliaed by AICTE and is under previously known WBUT. The course structure is as per the leading IITS, NITS and Government colleges. Overall the curruclam is good. But what I feel, the course needs to be more industry focused, i.e should have more collaboration with industries for short term projects, like they have in foreign Universities.

The gender ratio in an engineering college is as always -abysmal. But the students share a great bond with each other. Also a very good thing about the college is that there is almost 0 % ragging of new students. There are a few societies, like CSE, IEEE, Industrial Interaction Cells which conducts events, and seminars, and industry visits. The college also has tie ups with a few guest professors and scientists from foreign universities and Indian organisations like DRDO.

My admission to MAIT was through IPCET, or the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test. MAIT being one of the top engineering colleges of Northern India, and especially in Delhi, the rank to be obtained is within the top 2000 out of the one lakh students, who take this examination. I opted for Electronics and Communication because its curriculum provided enough scope to explore sides of both electronics, as well as computers.

We had great events in our college to celebrate we have management fetivals, annual day celebration, cultural event competitions, sports day, tech fest by management as well as our association we have fashion show in culutral events also so that area i can give full marks to them.

We got couple of companies in the college, and arround 100 student got placed in different companies there arround 15-20 companies came during placement infosys, slk software, span infotech, accord, celstream, Robosoft, Techjini etc are few of the companies came for the campus.

Yes the college provides large number of internship opportunities and also industrial experience is compulsory in the pre final year. The general stipend provided varies from 10k to 25k per month. Companiesthat visited the college for intern recruitment were Tata Steel, Affine Analytics, Intel, Texas Instruments, Microsoft, Dell, Goldman Sachs, Freecharge among others. Experience in these internships are generally great. Students get to learn and train in the industry that they want to join and generally these internships end up into PPOs.

Placement opportunities are plenty total students placed were nearly 97 percent out of the total 1300 students that sat for placements a total of 160 companies visited the college some of the companies and their packages are: PwC 15 Lpa, Coca Cola, Pepsi 7 LPA, Xilinx 9 LPA, Tata steel 9 LPA, Coal India Limited 9.5 LPA, Microsoft 10.2 LPA, Amazon 22 LPA and many others were there the average CTC was around 4.5 LPA.

Campus is awesome to hangout with friends in free time, no gender discrimination, all are given equal opportunities to rise up, sports were great to watch, labs are well maintained and spacious, rest. All extracurricular activities were awesome. There were many celebration in campus like friendship day, valentine day etc which celebrated with great spirit in the college.

Excellent. Very strict. Easy arrangements no hassle to search for examination centers. Within the college sitting arrangements are made very nicely. With good answer sheets and writing materials. Question paper are error less. Question sets are combination of tough and easy sets with required questions from the given syllabus.

Graduation in commerce help to select the professional career of accounts, back office, sales, marketing, finance, banking, insurance etc. There are many fields you can select after completing your graduation. There are lots of choices. But it is better to complete your MCom or any other diploma after the graduation for better career growth.

All students utilize the outside side lane as a campus. Politically, their are students who are a part of youth congress and other parties and keeping the political influence on. We have a annual day function, rose day, red day, traditional day, sari day, chocolate day, Friendship day celebrated.

The course structure was overall good for a literature student though they could have done more on linguistics part we studied and read and discussed on English Literature, Classical Indian Literature and Modern Indian Literature which is really good.Curriculum overall was good, though would have been better if focus was more given on what we got to derived from their studies. Also, I guess, syllabus should have also included on other Literature's - African East Asian- though we get to study in semester vi which is quite a minuscule.

As part of ST/SC reservation facilities offered by Delhi University, we have to submit our class xii results and choose our preferred colleges options since my score was only 70% and I know that I wouldn't have chance to get admitted in college like Hindu and Hansraj, I went fro other options and Khalsa was my third choice finally, when the first list came out, I was listed for Khalsa College. I was happy enough since its in the campus.

In Coimbatore,our college is in top 10. Regarding placement our college is good enough microsoft, Zoho, infosys, CTS, wipro and many more companies visit our campus.in our batch more than 700 students got placed in companies and all are getting a handsome packages around 4 lakhs per annum for freshers.in cbe our college has a better placemnet than any other colleges

Considering department we will celebrate tech fest like IBLAZE,ETEIAC.But i wish to tell about koncurenza it is our college tech fest were we will enjoy a lot.In that festival all the students will be there,competitions like singing ,solo dance group dance will be performed and prizes will be distributed.sports day also we will celebrate.

Two internal (25 marks) and one external (75 marks) exams for both theory and practical.

Our college provides an opportunity to get internship, stipend is based on the company.

I have taken EAMCET and got a rank of 5293 and interested to take electrical engineering based on the history of this college and department track record i have opted for this course in this college only and the admission process takes place through EAMCET counselling .

Placements are not good during our tenure still we got few companies like Satyam, Infosys, Indu Projects, Virtusa, Accenture, L&T out of these some are offline and the maximum offered package is maximum up to 4 lakhs per annum.

Cultural events, Freshers party, Traditional day every occasion was special and loved it awesome memories. We played cricket, kabbadi, Rugby, tennis tt, what not and in every game we are the champions and that wont come again and again.

Very good. Companies such as Wipro, Capital iq, Amazon, Icici bank, Hdfc, Cap gemini, Tech mahindra and TCS came here and hired the candidates based on their merit list so it was good experience over there.

Our college is developing day by day because of the new principal came to our college. See in our college there is 1 or 3 companies give job opportunities to the students . In our college there is no proper placement.

JV global ,ibm ,etc came especially to this 2015 year. Till now in our college there is no internship experience. In our college a new principal has come and he is developing students and management and placements.

The course curriculum is not that good. Many chapters of the book were skipped. However I did find help from my teachers in completing the chapters left. K. J somaiya being autonomous have the potential to do and get something more out of us. The course structure is good. I have been doing ca outside the plain bcom and I never had to deal with college problem. The participation of bcom students is very less in other activities.

There is less of on Student/Dorm Parties, workshops, cultural societies as teachers become less responsible no one take initiative.tolerance is overall great with regards to gender, there is no discrimination regarding ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, less of politics is involved and economic status is great very huge.

Yes, in every college, senior students help juniors in their academics that way, this place is not different from others the thing here is, the college allows the seniors to select several junior students of their choice and encourage them to take part in curricular activities. I have approached many senior's to take their advice and experience in the studies.Really the interaction with them was nice good & helping nature.

Gender ratio is almost equal here (different from other colleges) college organize various cultural activities almost every fortnight to enhance the creative mind of students every student takes part in competitions, debate according to their respective interests. Prizes are also distributed to the best performer and certificate to every contestant. (That way every student takes interest).

I had taken mechanical engineering with a high course diversity i like automobile industry very much so i had taken this, its very interesting lots of vacancies are there in industries reasearch side is wide in this course that u had taken.

Placement is here but only for it companies not for mechanical students but we can attend IT companies .

We had annual event name as Horizon during the Nov-Dec and parallelly with the placement seasons. Also there are inter college quiz,game show and dance and sports competitions conducted but the university. They were good enough. The participation ratio according to me was only 15% probably because of lack of interest or time. I believe more mental Games or indoor games and management games or case studies should be included into such inter college competitions. Even brain teaser such as Chess is also a good mental exercise.

It was like 80% 20%. But there is nothing to equalize the gender ratio as the admission process it totally based on merit so who ever scores high gets the admission but I believe it would have improved by 10-15% in todays scenario. Infact there are more motivations from State Govt. Also to ensure more equalized gender ratio such as almost zero fees for girls going for higher studies master degree in Govt. colleges but the same needs to be extended to private colleges also with certain ratio.

In case of events Atharva College is the best in Mumbai University. In atharva huge number of events occur and are celebrated very enthusiastically.There was called Atharva Techthon which includes Robotics and many more events.There was Atharva Ka Raja on Ganpati festival. The only college in mumbai where ganpati is being celebrated for 11 days and free lunch and many more to students for these days.Apart from this there is Atahrva Fashion where models from across the country participates.I forget so many things as it is almost 3.5 years left the college.In case of sports our college everytime won.

The college campus was really very excellent with all over the greenery.In case of cleaness the atharva college is best. All time the clean staff used to clean the college. Mobile phones were not allowed in the college campus. Robotics was the craze for everyone and for the competition the arrangements were made before 10days.All workshops and cultural things were very nice. There were people of all the religions and everything was very nice and well stabilized.

Many companies visited the campus in 2013 and 2014 and still the higher Namely,Deolite,TATA,LNT,infosys,CTS,TCS idea make mytrip reliance etc and many teaching institutions alsomax package goes upto 25lac to min 2.5 lac almost 100% students are placed which shows their interest in placements because many are also interested in higher studies and own business.

Yes the college do provide internship for Btech students many summer training programmes are organised by the different departments based on softwares and many more for the M.Tech students teaching assistantship is provided to them during their couse with a stien of 8000 to 12000 as decided by the MHRD for the GATE Qualified students.

CAT 90%. I had few options, I compared all the options and found BIIB as the best one among them. The college had good course curriculum and the placements were also 100%. The kind of companies that had come for placements were all good. The culture in the college was also amazing as the Head of the college belongs to an Army background. The interview process was in Ahmedabad and included 4 rounds , which had questions from almost all the topics like Politics, Geography, Economics, Education Background etc.

The college has specially approved for educational loan schemes for the students who gets admission to any of these institutions from CREDILA (An HDFC Ltd. Co.), Central Bank of India & Andhra Bank as Sri Balaji Society, Pune has signed MOUs with these banks. All those students who get admitted in any of these institutes can approach these banks for availing educational loan. However students have the liberty to approach any other bank as per their convenience.

Here many it companies are visiting to graphic era every year and placement records are on top in dehradun.college provide internship to those who have no back untill last year. No stipend are provided from my college side. Ex: accenture, infosys, wipro, dell, samsung etc comes every year and selected to student.

I was a computer science student and found many thing to do well.I go for council in doon and select graphic era as my engineering college.The structure of this course was so good. Where we can gave our effort to do achieve all the things.Computer science are so bright. All it sector is dependent on it.
