The campus life is too good as I got too much exposure to the Many opportunities and many persons. Our college annual fest, Sabrang is Also too good. It's basically of 2 day event and on both days very well known and famous personalities are invited. Our college have table tennis court, badminton court volleyball ground and a special area for archery also. Many of our college students have represented our college in national events. There are many student-run social groups which are helping us in each and every step in college. Literally you can ask anything that hinder your in college they'll sort out everything.
The course is too good. As my course is life sciences so instead of learning about only one core subject like in botany hons and zoology hons course, we get chance to learn about zoology, botany and chemistry simultaneously. That Also unlock a large no. of opportunities for my future. Acc to me the ratio of practical lab and theory classes should be increased like we only get 1 lab for one core subjects in a week so I think this no. Should be increased so that we can get more practical knowledge. The difficulty level of exams are too much High like it seems we're hons course students that should be decreased.
Placement seen here , not very good as companies comes here are mostly bulk hiring or for core branches hiring as they tend to get job frequently while other like oura and tech have chances if grid properly , post corona there is decreasing tech jobs as world again come to its original pace so getting placed is more and more harder for tech students due to intense competition also. Here mostly or more than 70 percent get placed who sits for placements as for high paying offer it depends on own skill , while mostly from 6 th semester placement strats and as for not placing or opting out for placements means ones should be ready for gate or any research field as there are not more options for us but as an engineer you could do anything in your life
Here faculty are supportive and will give there 100 if you have sprit to have the knowledge ,there are teachers who will spoonfeed you like school teachers but some will not give you that treatment but mostly will not bother you if you are not offensive to them . Exams are conducted semester wise as i have told session are short especially odd onse which i dont like but when you get longer holidays then you will know why these things are boon disguises as curse . If there will any friends in aktu affiliated college friend he will tell you story of holiday and long semesters . Exams are easy to moderate , as there will 2 or 3 subjects which are difficult while all are easy and thats it.
My overall experience can't express in word Now when i look back to me of 2 years back. I feel proud and appreciate my decision of choosing deshbandhu, it has in true aspects changes my life. Making friends is very easily, everyone is open, there is a number of clubs present
The course is superb, it combines everything, also the college offer great skill courses which helps to increase the employability. The exams occur after every 5 months and exams are not that much difficult if you have a knowledge of 12 th science you can easily clear it
This college have 1:70 ratio in theory class but in labs it changes to 1 : 35. Student can directly contact to respective subject faculty regarding any problem related to course.I dont want to disclose any faculty but most of them are in friendly manner with students but some do not meet the expections to me.In this university exam pattern is like Mid Term Examination and Semester End Examination with Internal Assesment in Some subjects wihich dont have labs. The Is not easy and not more difficult but it is in moderate difficulty level so that every student can pass exam easily, but some students can not clear exams.
I am enrolled in program Master of Computer Applications whose yearly fee is 112000 and total fee for the entire course is 224000 including exam fee. Threre will be also deposit the caution money which is two thousand. The registration fee for the every course is 1200 which you have to pay during online application filling. This university offers a wide range of scholarship to the students like merit based scholarship , i also got 15 percent scholarship om the basis of my Graduation marks. This college have also DRCC loan facility to resident of Bihar.
I am currently studying at RVR & JC College of Engineering, Guntur, and my experience so far has been very positive. The college maintains a disciplined environment and gives strong importance to academics. Most of the faculty members are experienced and teach concepts clearly, and the syllabus is covered on time with regular internal exams that keep us consistent. The lab facilities are well-organized with proper equipment, and practical sessions are conducted seriously. The campus is big, clean, and peaceful, with good classrooms, a well-stocked library, and decent sports and event facilities. Transportation is convenient, and the hostel facilities are okay with good safety. Placements are good for branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, and core branches also get fair opportunities. Even though the fee of RVR & JC is on the higher side since it is a private college, in my case I am not paying any fee because I receive Vidya Deevena, so my entire tuition fee is covered, which makes it financially very comfortable. Overall, the college offers good academics, a safe atmosphere, and decent placement support, making it a solid choice for engineering studies. The fee and donation of management students is about 3-4 lakhs completely for first year and then from 2nd year it will be less than 3 lakhs as only fee should be paid. The exam fee for an year is from 2k to 2.5k and coming to hostel I am paying 48000 for hostel and 4k extra which we will get refund when we vacate the hostel (only if no damage is created by you) and there will be bus facility available from guntur city to college ,the bus fee will be less than 15k in 2025 it is 12k ,so yeah when we compare with other hostels and colleges the fee is less and also in hostel they provide good food and facilities too. Also RVR and JC college provides scholarship for students who are poor and merit also for the students who wants to go abroad for their higher studies.
For every department there is enough faculty and they are well educated, well behaved too. They are not selfish to share their knowledge apart from academics, they are very eager to teach new things to students. There will be different exam schedules for different regulations. As per our regulation R20 there were 2 mid term examinations for semester along with quizzes and there will be marks for attendance too, average from 2 midterm exams will be taken for 30 marks and remaining 70 marks are for externals.
My fee for the program is 15768/-each year... As in economics hons. There's no additional fees. I think the fees of the other categories are relatively low (around half ours) . As a general student, there's isn't any financial aid for the student. There might be scholarship provided by the college
Most of the facult is gullible plus strict. Our maths professor arrived 2 month late. So yes, mme is lacking behind. Unless that facult is good. And always try to be there for the student... There isn't any such favorite faculty of mine... But all are good in a way a professor should be..
Like there was a ethnic day, diwali mela and etc.And many events take place simultaneously with classes. There is very spacious and well maintained library for students which even open on weekends during exam. There are many societies for students to join and take experiences.
Like I pay 22 thousand rupees around something for each semester. It include all kind of charge.I am from general category so I don't know other categories.I need know much about the financial aid but there are available for the students who need it.
The total fee for my course amounts to ?1,20,260, which includes several components such as tuition fees, development fees, library charges, admission fees, and registration fees. Out of the total amount, the tuition fee is ?60,000 and the development fee is ?50,000, which together form the major portion of the academic expenses. In addition to these, there are other compulsory charges such as a library fee of ?600, an admission fee of ?600, and a registration fee of ?200. These charges are applicable to all students irrespective of their category, as they are part of the standard academic and administrative requirements. The fee structure remains similar for most categories, although there may be slight variations for students who come under different quota or admission modes such as management, SC, ST, OBC, or general category. My batchmates have also paid comparable fees; however, the final payable amount for many students depends heavily on the type of scholarship they receive. The institute also provides access to the UP Scholarship, which is a major financial support system for students. For General and OBC students, the scholarship amount usually ranges between ?50,000 to ?55,000, which significantly reduces the overall financial burden. For SC and ST students, the scholarship is even more beneficial, offering up to ?1,20,000. This enables students from economically weaker backgrounds to continue their education without interruption. Overall, the fee structure combined with the available scholarship opportunities ensures that students can pursue their studies with adequate support and minimal financial stress.
The Annual Cultural fest is Sanskrit Surbhi and annual technical fest is Tech Prism. The all technical book of engineering are available in library The smart board are provided in all classroom for study and lab are Fully equipped with computer Many sport activities are happening in campus like badminton and chess and carrom. The most important is ECL engineering cricket league There are coding club, Robotics club, music club, cultural club in college
In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.
CSE i one wants to pursue from Dehradun then GEU is the place to do. Thus, I took admission here in 2024 and fees I paid was around 2.5 lakhs per semester. There was admission form and registration charges of 40k. This year also fees has stayed the same but those charges were taken just once. Apart from this project and exam fees has to be paid by students.
The faculty is quite nice. The teachers are always ready to help the students whenever they need it. The students and teachers share a good bond with each other. I personally think that the commerce faculty is the best in our college. The teachers teach well and are actually nice to students. Mrs. Arushi from commerce department is my GE teacher and has helped me alot in that subject.
The annual fest of our college is called Sabrang. Various famous celebrities and artists come to our college for the fest. There are also many societies and clubs. I am a part of the Marketing Society as well as the Entrepreneurship Cell of our college. Both these societies help students deal with real life problems and train them for things that would help in future.
Sriparna mam is definitely the favourite as she is often deemed for doing partiality with girls but i don't think she does so. Overall ratio is 1:14 between students and faculties and all are amazing to be fair. In all fairness there aren't any free lunches and thus they make us took hard and that is how good lawyers are made so for all the efforts they have put behind us all these years, I will salute them.
I had vested interest in law since lockdown. I finished my 12th in 2020 and decided to take a year to decide what to pursue further. I saw the webseries Suites during then and that gave me the motivation to pursue law. So, yes an American court room drama that was my influence to pursue law and hence I am doing so or rather about to finish so in just few months from now.
Sabrang annual fest February pradeepan diwali mela in october. Library is good many books are provided and enough space is there. Smartboards are provided in every classroom in science block and laboratory stuff is also top notch. Sports events are conducted. Many clubs are there music timbre for indian classical and e cell.
I didn’t get into medical college. The curriculum is not that good in my course. Practical should be more focused and research papers. Timing is just 2 hrs for core paper many students exam are left for writing in short duration
faculties of our college i tell you that it is supportive but not all feculty so of them,i like feculties name is snehal sathwara, bhoomi dangar and best faculty is bhoomi dangar, and dont like faculty is chetan sir, reason is that they dont tell anything properly we have tell them, their are three two exam, mid exam is difficult,i dont know how many fails because i am new in this college, course is fantestic
their so many technical festivals like technoplanet their are many book of all department their are projecter and charging port laptop in classrooms and ac in labs sports are played in national level their are clubs like singing, dancing, sports etc
We held a lot of extracurricular activities. From inter and intra college competition to cultural events, seminars and court visits. These events are mostly held during September to December and during cultural holidays like Rabindra Jayanti. We have a huge range of books and journals available in our library. From sociology to Banking law you can find a great options on textbook and journals. We also have a e library where you can access different journals and portals. We have a magazine which is run by the students and respected faculty members. We also have a student run moot court committee.
Our faculty members are great. They are helpful and friendly. They teach us everything with great enthusiasm and also provide us study materials. They are always available if we have any questions. They are highly educated with most of them having post graduation and doctorate degree. Other than the semester exams we often have class tests, presentations and viva. We also have moot courts and mock courts. The class tests are pretty easy but one should worry about the semester exams. Those are tough. We have to write total 5 essay type questions with three hours for 80 marks
The Fee Structure is Below: Tution Fees - A main academic fee, usually increasing by 5-10% every year. Admission Fees - One time charge for admission. Most faculty are professionals in their industry, so learning is very practical and career oriented. Faculty is very helpful and always willng to help. course is based on semester wise.75% attendence is required to appear in exams. Exams aren't hard academically the real challenge is project work and deadlines.
IGNOU is good for students who want flexibility because you can study from home and the fees are affordable. The study material is also good and the degree is recognised everywhere for jobs and further studies. But the downside is that IGNOU’s administrative work can be slow, like getting study material, updating assignments, or releasing results. Also, since it’s a distance-learning university, you don’t get regular campus life or much interaction with teachers. Overall, it’s helpful if you want flexible and low-cost education, but not ideal if you want a full college experience.
In IGNOU, you can study from anywhere because the courses are offered in distance and online mode. You don’t have to attend regular college; you can study at home using the books, PDFs, and online lectures. IGNOU also provides online teachers through live classes, recorded videos, and doubt-clearing sessions on their online platforms. This makes it easy for students to learn even if they are working or living in another city.
See our college teaches various branches and technologies which are helpful in solving daily life problems ,in paint ,food, biochemical ,etc.technologies We have been able to solve various problems related to these branches,we also have networks with related companies also. Most of the time they come to seek help from our professors .Also we get to research upon these topics and solve real world problems. Areas of improvement can be the introduction of AI in our classrooms .also lab work and timings can be increased rather than just theory. Usually exams occur every month if we count mid and end semester exams.
Faculty student interaction is quite good. Every body can approach them and are available anytime we want solution. I think the faculty is quite good and well educated in almost all branches. There isn't any particular name or reason to dislike them.I have good interaction with all of them. Each student has to study 6 to 7 subjects each semester. Relevance of the course is very upto the mark .since it's is considered one of the best college in India if it comes to chemical engineering.
I was preparing for CA also that's why I opted for Bcom, rest no other factors. But the curriculum of the college was best. They covered our whole syllabus on time. Everything was just perfect. There's semester system at my time. Every year we have 2 semester exams and you can clear the exam if you have studied everything your teacher taught. Examination level was moderate only.
There's lots of culture fest but annual fest was Umang. Everything is available in library as I said Dyal Singh have best libraries ever. All the basic facilities like fan, table , chairs and smart boards are available in classroom. Yes there's playgrounds for sports and NCC training. There were lots of clubs like Zest, Comsoc, Roots , Astitva and others.
Sports facilities we have indoor sports room or the recreation rooms both for boys and girls. We also have facilities for clean water and restrooms of top quality not just in buildings but off it too. Campus has garden and also a nice multi purpose football ground. Though it's mostly used for the same but events and meetings and gatherings also happens on that particular ground.
Machine learning or making objects that can fly is the core of our subjects and we learn that. Course is vast and yet just 2 days classes and sometimes 3 days so I think instead of long 2-3 days in a week, it should be 2-3 lectures daily to get a more feel.lf campus life. Our course though is designed with partnership from DRDO and HAL so, nothing is wrong or can go wrong.
