They have appointed new faculty for this semester, some teachers are really good they answer each of your message, they are very much lenient but some like of Python are the worst, they don't understand you they don't know how to teach, they are literally teaching python like story telling.
For one year I am paying 25680, as such they have not specifically mentioned the area where the fee is being utilising. They do provide with schlorships but I am not aware about it. And seats are reserved for Sc, ST but exactly what fee they are paying is not being disclosed anywhere.
Students become Eligible for campus placements after in the 3rd year. The placements have been improved a lot in the past years. Companies like Pwc, kpmg, McKinsey, bain and Co come for campus placements. The highest package was 23 lakhs per annum last year.
As it is an all girls college, so the campus vibe is accordingly itself. The sports and extracurriculars offered is excellent with a closed gym and open gym both! It has a lot of varied clubs in the field of finance, entrepreneurship etc.
The annual event "Montage" is held during the month of February. Wide variety of books are available in the library ranging topics from arts to commerce. Campus is well equipped with projectors and monitors. Sports and extracurricular activies are given great importance.
The faculty around is really helpful. They have expertise and knowledge in their field. Department of commerce is extremely active and organises various events. There are two semesters in a year so students have to appear twice for writing the exam.
JMC hosts various events with its annual cultural fest happening in the month of February i.e MONTAGE. Other events are conducted by seprate departments for example CHRONICLE by history department, MATHARENA by maths department, CARPE DIEM by sociology department, ACADEMIC DAY by the department of BVOC RMIT and Inter department mental christmas carol singing competition in the late November i.e WINTER CHIMES. These events usually happen from the month of October to March excluding December and Mid January because of semester exams. The libraries are well equiped with books and Jorunals of different department. JMC has 3 libraries with air conditioners and sufficient seats. The only drawback is no AC in the classrooms , however the classrooms are well ventilated. The audiorium of JMC known as the Thevenet Hall is large enough for all kinds of events . JMC also offers space for different sports such as cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennies, hockey, judo, taekwondo, boxing etc. The department of physical education is responsible for the sports training and they also offer subjects such as FIT INDIA, Sports for Life and Indigenous Sports to other students as well . ECHO - the western music soc , KAHKASHA -The hindi dramatics society , NRITYANJALI - the Indian dancing society are some of the most popular cultural student run societies in JMC. Other societies like E-Cell , ENACTUS, MERCATUS , 180 DC, TEDX JMC, DEBATING SOC etc offer the members live projects, event management, marketing, consulting projects and upskillinh opportunities. The live projects offered by these societies help the students hain real world exposure and adds to their experience in resume.
I belong to the EWS category and paid Rs.31020 as my first year college fees . There's no difference in fee structure for any category in my department . There was reduction in the 2nd year fees i.e Rs.26675 in which tution fee - 180, liabrary fees - 800 , development fees- 7200 and other major fees are included. All the batchmates have to pay the same amount of fee irrespective of their category other than students belonging to EWS , as they can avail fee concession of upto half of their fee amount of complete amount after applying for financial need. Only the students who haven't got ER in their semester results can apply for scholarships .
The fees of my college is 80000 per year for Open category. If you are taking admission from Government Quota then for obc it is 45000 ,for st,sc it is 7000 and also for ladies obc it is 7000 only. But for the category benefit you should be admited through government quota by cet/Neet score. You can apply for external private scolarships. Tution fees are around 70000 and 7000 development fees.and about 3000 are the other fees
Faculty Member are really well knowledgable and skilled. There teaching techniques are also good. All faculties are best in there own way .I liked them all. 3 exam are there 2 units and 1 final exam. At final of semester there is also practical exam.Units are easy but Final sem exam are difficult. Many student who are regular are able to clear the exam. Course syllabus is relevant if studied properly.
the overall experience of the campus life is quite good the campus is quite live and fun every other day some events are taking place the library is quite good as well it has a good collection of books and a good environment for studing there are a lot of facilities in the classrooms such as projectors and the college has a lot of interesting socities.
they course curriculam is quite interesting as my course reatil management and it is a very new course it is very mordern in terms of subjects subjects such as e commerce, reatil display, cargo, etc the couse helps in understanding retail with mordern ways.
Overall teaching staff is very good, they are supportive and helpful. Here every semester have 3 examination. Maximum number varies in every course. They also take practicals and external who come for practical are well qualified like from IIT kanpur and IIT khadakpur.
Tution Fees is 90000 per year and hostel fees is separate. And here many scholarships are available like alumini, siblings, per year waever in tution Fees etc. If you belong to sc, st then there will be a few changes in fees structure.
The faculty is very sweet and kind. They can be easily approached through both Whatsapp and Offline meetings. I really like Divya Mam and Smita Mam- they teach us introductory microeconomics. Its an excellent subject and both the teachers take doubts and explain the concept nicely. I do not find Harshita Mam who's teaching Basic Math for Econ as she doesn't explain the concepts clearly and give vague replies There are exams at the end of every semester. The difficulty level is moderate
I have a keen interest in pursuing in Economics field as a career and hence my degree perfectly aligns with my career goals The curriculum is not very effective when we talk aboht the real world exposure however it is very good for further academic pursuits The curriculum could be a bit more practical based where we get exposure to the real industry as well. The exams are held twice in an year. The difficulty level is moderate
Montage is the annual fest of JMC held during February. We also have departmentmental fests for ba multidisciplinary it's melange held during February last year we had Yuvraj Dua come as a speaker. This year we have also gotten smart boards in classrooms. I personally am part of the debating society which helped me a lot to become more comfortable in my own skin
Ba Spanish curriculum is pretty similar to the dele exam that you would need to take in the future, it's like ielts but for spanish. Everything that you've already covered in class is asked in the year end exams it's pretty doable with minimum efforts
GLA University Mathura offers over 50 courses and law is one of them and I am pursuing Law from here and paying 1.43 lakhs a year for the same. The fees is 1.6 lakhs a year but since I got 10% scholarship for girl child which is directed by UP Government, my fees for reduced to 1.43 lakhs a year. The hostel fees is 1.2 lakhs for a two seater AC room and it includes meals as well.
110 acres of campus which has various buildings, subways, cafes and gardens and open spaces. There are a number of hostel blocks as well in our university and that also helps out cause for students of different cities and states as we have majority students of outside Mathura. Many competitions which are non academic are organized in our annual fest Spandan.
So on the yearly basis i pay around 25000-28000 for 2 semesters. Like I remember in the first year the pay was around 23000something but gradually it increases like recently in my 3rd year I kinda paid 27000 something almost touching 28000. I don't feel that there is any fee compensation or benefit for the other benchmates for other categories. There are financial aid and scholarships available for weak section students but I really don't have in dept info regarding this. Overall i feel development fees is the one which keep on increasing in large amount But JMC is a home and a very peaceful place to be in ..like the campus, cleanliness and food is wow!! And it's technically a safe place to be in .
I feel JMC have the best faculty....like they are the ones which will listen to you ,try to understand your problem and will help u out with any query. Faculty is pretty approachable like proper communication in between students and faculty I like commerce dept teachers more and also rajni ma'am she is very experienced professor and the way she teaches I just love it
Our college have 18 clubs as well as 2 floor library and many more facilities.i have took part in yellowside club which is for marketing and management.our seniors are good and helpful to us.there is a yearly sports event in our college names impulse.

The fees they charge is on yearly basis. For second year it was around 26,000 and for first year it was between 20-25,000. It included tuition fees, admission fees, development fees snd lab fees. For my batchmates also it ranged between 20-25,000. The college offers merit based awards nd scholarships , fee concession, students aid fund etc . It also has quota for christians and for persons with disabilities (pwd).
There are a lot of events that keep happening. Montage is our annual fest . There are a lot of books and journals available in the library . There are a few classes that are smart classes. There are a lot of extracurricular activities and multiple sports. There are a lot of clubs , societies and student - run social groups in college.
For Marketing: Anand Narsimha, Rakesh Mediratta, Edwin Moses, etc For Finance: Dr Srijith Mohanan, Prof. Jitendra Kumar, Rajendra Kumar Sinha, Punita Rajpurohit For Business Analyst: Dr Tuhin Chattopadhyay, Dr Sundar Raj Vijayanagar, Dr Vishu Vivek M For Human Resources: Dr Shaji Kurian, Dr Sharbani Bhattacharjee These are some faculties of JAGSoM that are the pride of our college.
PGDM General total fees are 1600000. College students take the scholarship to get benefits in fees. No fee difference based on the caste. The Scholarship exam name is JAGMAT is condected by college itself, based on the rank you got the scholarship will be provided
The early college fees is 73000 per year which includes hostel fees, academic fees and exam fees . Apart from it I will have to pay Uniform fees that is 6200 one time . I have applied the private scholarship that is Reliance foundation scholarship and the one more is HDFC. But i have not recieved any scholarship from both of them . The whole degree may 2, 20, 500 but with personal and books expensives it might be Around 2,50, 000 . tye batchmates fees is same .
If i talked about the staff members of my departments there is very good teachers are available who depth knowledge of all little things . All faculities of my department treatly wiyh students in a politely way . And really good experienced . The exam level is Intermediate Because as we know that we are know the students of the college .
Our campus is good as it is big but not as big as the central campus. The only problem though is that too many departments have been shifted here and therefore too crowded has become our campus. There's one Nescafe Bar and one small canteen among so many students. So, one more should be added. Our DTU fest is still hosted at main campus and it is the largest fest of North India and is named Engie Fest.
At DTU BBA faculties are also not just good educators but good human being as well. So, it's safe to say that students here are in right hands. Exams of DTU are way tougher than that of DU and therefore scoring over 7 CGPA is tough but below that no placements and therefore one has to study a lot to have that many CGPA.
the faculties are quite supportive and approachable though it also differs from one faculty to another . most of them are easily accessible though some only restrict communication in person or through CR. the faculty i like is Divya ma'am who teaches MME and Smita ma'am who teaches Stastics. these are the best professors because they teach very professionally and make us underst the concepts really well. other faculties i did not like as much , the reason being that they do not clear the concepts quite well , sometimes they even teach wrong concepts. the course curriculum is quite relevant according to me there are in total 3 dscs and others are vac , sec , aec , etc.
the year wise fees that i have paid is 27500 which is the tuition fees. this included the complete amount required , there was no extra registration or admission fees or any other kind of fees just the CUET cost and this yearly fee paid. for categories other than mine , one of my friends is in Political Science Hons and her fee is 27000 yearly also , one of my friends is pursuing B.Com Hons and her yearly fee is 28000. as far as i know there is no scholorship or financial aid because the fee is already very minimal. i do not have any scholarship as of now.
Faculty to student ratio is very poor at 1:50. The faculty is not approachable at all. Only the class representatives can talk to them directly. There end semester exams and internals in between the semester. The course curriculum is not relevant and includes very less practical knowledge.
I am excited to learn a lot of economics and how the world works around that but that is not how the curriculum is designed. It doesn't prepare you for real-world applications. More practical knowledge needs to be included and less of rote learning
The Faculty-student ratio is usually around 1:35 or 1:40. The faculty-student relationship is amazing in the college as teahers are very supportive and cooperative and inform students timely about upcoming tests and guide us through it. The economics and the political science faculty assigned to first year are the best. Even faculty for EVS are very passionate about their subject and promote practical learning. It is a 3year course 6-semester system, tests are moderately difficult. Hardly 1-2 students fail in a semester as teachers guide the students through the preparation. The course has been designed in a structured manner along with providing students with first hand experience like internships brought to notice by the teachers.
For Deshbandhu college, BA Program (Economics +,Political Science) the First year fee paid is Rs.15741.00 The fees for complete course doesnot increase. Total fee for 3 years is Rs. 47,223 Various scholarshios are provided for students belonging to SCs/STs/OBCs and also single girl child. Students belonging to Economically weaker section with the certificate can avail the partial refund of fee provided by the university
the cource curriculam at vgec follows the gtu structure, which is quite comprehensive in term of coverig all the core engineering fundamentals. one of key reasons i chose this cource is that the syllabus provides a strong foundation in mathematics ,programming, electronics, and branch specific core subject. THis base is very useful whether ypu want to enter the industry or purse higher studies like GATE, M.TECH ir research. In term of real world apllications the curriculam does prepare you well conceptually especially subject like dsa ,dbms, os, digital logic, electrical fundamaentals. the project components in later semester also help you apply these concepts practically. certain subjects feel outdated and need to be revised with newert technologies , modern tools, and industry - oriented skills. exam happen regularly - likeone midsem exam (internal exam) can be moderetly difficult if you rely only on classroom teaching . the frequencies of exam load feels high due to back to back assesments ,practicals, and assignments.
my college provides decent internship opportunities through both campus drives and departmental connections . several compnies visit for technical and non technical internship role . some common name includes local it firms , startup , consulting compnaies , and industries related to electronics , computer science , and mechanical engineering . roles offered ere usually web developer intern , pythin, embendede system inrern , data analyst intern and technical support intern. some compnies provide a stipend from 3,000 to 10,000 per month , depending on the project and duration . overall , i would rate the internship experinces as good . the exposure is helpful for biginners, the workload is manageble, and faculty often guide students in choosing the right role . however , some internship are unpaid. and competition for better compnaies can be high. still , the learning exeperinece and skill developement make the internship valuablefor carrer growth .
