The college organize various technical events, cultural fest and sports competition and extracurricular activities.which keeps campus Life active and enjoyable. Good amount of books and journals are available in the library and easily accessible. Every clubs or students chapter is run by students only. Only approval are given by faculty coordinator.
The curriculum of our college is very good.As the curriculum is completely oriented to the course. Thee is no extra subjects that is not relevant to the course. According to me they can improve practical teaching. Give more focus on hands-on experience to real world applications. Exam's timming and difficulty level is good
It is a govt. College. So fees is affordable. Only first year paid 500 rupees only. Also caution deposit. Admission fee below 1000 thousand rupees only. College gives good atmosphere. There are some scholarships to sc or st or other backward castes. But i am belongs to general candidate. I am not got any scholarships. It is very painfull.. But I got good marks. So I am very happy.
Cultural festivals heldbin college. There is wide range of books arranged in the library. We can choose library books at any time. Computer lab is useful once in a week. There extra curricular activities conducted.. Nss is mainly participated students
The faculty to student ratio is good. The relation is also good and all faculties are approachable. You can even do research with them. All faculties are best. Exams are mostly conducted in two cycles- mid semester and at the end of the semester with class test, viva and presentations being conducted being conducted throughout the semester for internal marks distribution which accounts for highest percentage in overall grade.
Social Internship in 1 year followed by a government or start up based based internship in the 2 year of college. This follows by an industry based internship in 3 year. Because we have internships in all 3 year summer break we are already prepared for placements.

The yearly fee for my course (SYBCA) at SMT. P.N. Doshi Women’s College for the academic year 2025–2026 is approximately ?45,932. This includes multiple components such as tuition fees, admission fees, development charges, lab fees, and other compulsory charges. The tuition fee is ?22,000 per year, which is the main academic cost. Apart from this, there are several additional charges like: Admission fee (?550) Development fee (?2,000) Laboratory fee (?6,000) Examination fee (?365) Add-on course fee (?2,500) Library, internet, and database fees (?2,000 combined) Gymkhana, sports, and student welfare fees (?800 approx.) Miscellaneous and university-related charges All these together make the total yearly fee around ?45K–?46K. Course Fee (Overall) Since BCA is a 3-year course, the total cost comes to around ?1.3 to ?1.4 lakhs for the full duration. The fees are slightly increasing every year due to added facilities and university charges. Scholarship / Financial Aid In my case, I received a scholarship benefit (WFC adjustment), due to which the balance due is ?0. In this scholarship the college pay full amount of course fees and as well as exam fees .The college supports government scholarships like: SC/ST/OBC scholarships Minority scholarships Merit-cum-need-based schemes The scholarship amount varies depending on eligibility and category. Overall Opinion (Affordability) The fees are moderate and reasonable compared to other colleges in Mumbai offering BCA. Considering the facilities, labs, and additional activities included, the fee structure is justified, although yearly increments may feel slightly high.
The faculty at SMT. P.N. Doshi Women’s College is supportive and approachable, with a good faculty-student ratio. Teachers explain concepts clearly and help with doubts. The BCA course structure is relevant, covering both theory and practical subjects like programming and databases. The exam system includes internal assessments, practicals, and semester exams. The marking scheme is balanced. Exams are of moderate difficulty, and most students pass if they study regularly. Overall, the academic environment is good, but more industry-focused learning would be helpful.
There are multiple sections for a batch, There are 75 students in one section, and one section is divided into 2 groups of 30-35 students each. There are two types of classes, lecture based and practical based, the lecture based class is held together for all 75 students and the practical based class is held for each group of 35 students. I have liked many of my teachers in the 3rd and 4th semester as they were knowledgeble about there subjects so it was really fun to learn the subjects, some of the teachers were really bad they didnt even knew what was the syllabus, and didnt even knew how to pronounce words in english properly. The level of english the teachers are speaking is really bad they dont know how to speak. This is the major problem here for international students as they cant understand a single word due to the indian accent. The exams are divided into 3 parts, There are two MST(Mid Semester Tests) and one EST(End Semester Test). The MST carry a low weightage(around 20%-30%) while the EST examination carries high weightage(60%-70%). The EST are difficult to score in, and most of the students fail in the EST. The MST are really easy to solve and no one fails in those exams. The exam is relevant to the Syllabus taught in the class.
I choose this course, due to the versatile aspect of the syllabus. And what I saw in the course was some high level and attracting topics that I wanted to study, like dynamic programming, machine learning, artificial intelligence. These are high paying jobs in the real world, and hence this curriculum prepares us for the real world jobs. There are many areas of improvements in the course curriculum, like the syllabus could be well defined and slowly taught instead of being rushed through the semester. The teachers should be well knowledgeble about the Course Curriculum. During the Mid Semester Exams more time could be provided to prepare for the exams instead of taking multiple exams on a single day. Sufficient Time is provided to prepare for exams in the EST.
The course curriculum is provided by MSBTE which gets updated every five years giving and covering all the practical hard and soft skills required for overall student development and learning. All objectives are covered.
Infrastructure was quite good and is being now even scaled for futher sub-fields and divisions. The labs were also well equipped giving you hands on experience for each student focusing on practical based learning.
Fees will be constant for entire 4 year to a student. Hostel fees cost 80 thousand per semester. Tuition fees with development is 96000 per semester. For general candidate if they fall under ews category then there is a scholarship test if they pass then tuition fees will be off to them.
I would rate 7 out of 10 as teaching method is good and faculty is also supportive. There are 3 times a exam in semester so burden don't come in one time and scoring become easier. Exam is held time to time no delays and class is rarely cancelled.
My college has a manageable faculty-to-student ration, with one teacher handling around 30-40 students in a class. For practical sessions, students are divided into Batch1 and Batch2,which helps teachers prvide better attention to every student The faculty-student reatationship is generally good , and most teachers are approachable, supportive, and willing to help students academically. My favorite department is the Botany faculty because it is highly organised and well managed. I was also a part of the Botany Society, which gave me a very positive experience. The activities and work were properly planned, and i enjoyed participation in them. Comparatively, i liked the zoology faculty less, not because it felt slightly less organized than botany. The teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, but some management and communication issues affected my experience. The college follows a semester-based examination system with theory and practical assessments. The exams are of moderate difficulty and are not very hard if students study consistently. I personally manintained around an 8.5 CPGA, showing that students can score well with regular preparation. Most students clear the exams, and failure generally happen because og attendance, preparation or personal reasons rather than because of the difficulty level. The course curiculum is relevant and useful, especially for students planning higher studies or competitive exams. Many topics in the syllabus overlap with CSIR-NET preparation, which makes the curriculum beneficial in building a stron academic foundation and preparing students for future opportunities.
My college campus is divided into two parts: the main campus and the science campus. the campus environment is quite good and provides students with opportunities for both academic and extracurricular growth. in the science department, different departments. such as the BOTSO society of botany and ZETSO society of zoology. these association help students participate in various activities, improve teamwork, and stay engaged with thier subjects.the college is also present on social media through the official college pages as well sas individual departmental pages, which helps in sharing updates and maintaining students interaction. The infrastructure of the college is decent and continuously improving. some areas hae newly develped infrastructure, while other parts have older but welll-maintained facilities. the laboratories are properly structured and equipped for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Necessary equipement, reagents, chemicals, and specimens are available in good condition for practical learning. According to our teachers, the zoology department also has some unique specimens that make the Department more interesting for students. overall, the college provides a supportive acadimic environment with satisfactory infrastructure and facilities.
The fee structure for the course is reasonable, compare to facilities and opportunities provided by college. The yearly. These include fusion fees, registration charges, development fee and other compulsory charges. The fees may slightly increase every year depending on university guidelines and administrative policy. Overall the course remains affordable for student, seeking quality, education, and practical provide academic facilities such as maintained classroom, labs, Wi-Fi laboratory, extra curriculum, opportunities over all the institution offers good value for money because students receive academic support, placement assistance, internship opportunities, practical learning, exposure, and participation in various events and activities for the course duration..
My overall experience Trinity Institute of a question study has been positive in an enriching the campus. Life is vibrant student friendly and provide provides good balance between extra curricular activities. The college has serious clubs and societies and student light activities related to culture, events, entrepreneurship, management, and social service, media, sports and creative participation. In these skills, students opportunity to improve leadership skills, teamwork event in terms of infrastructure. The college provides well maintained as Wi-Fi facilities resources.

the curriculum is very well designed it helps with the practical exposure and also the theory knowledge required for this industry work the exams are moderately difficult but depends on the students hard work throughout the semester the final exams are for 3 hrs whereas the mid terma are 2 hrs
the internship opportunities are very vast. the career service department helps with the process for 1st years the internship is usually to work for an ngo working in an ngo helps students to view the real world issues while developing some real life skills such as communication , team work etc
Annualy Sports festivals , dance , monthly debate , group discussion Range of the books and journals are quiet good in sports Cricket, vollyball , hockey, badminton are offered in the campus there are many students who runs social clubs , right now i am not able to recall the names
the ratio is 1:30 faculty to student , faculty are too good and directly approachable. Mahesh Sir are the best teacher , he always helps me , even after the college hours also he was very helpful. There are 5 exams , and 10% students failed in it
18 lakhs fees and scholarship provided by domicile and on graduation marks basis. The fee structure at UPES for MBA courses is comparatively higher than many private universities but provides good infrastructure, industry exposure, and placement support. The total fee for the complete 2-year MBA program is generally around ?14–18 lakhs depending on the specialization selected. In the first year, students pay tuition fees, admission fees, registration charges, caution deposit, development fees, and other academic charges, which together come to around ?7–9 lakhs. The second-year fees are almost similar, mainly including tuition and examination-related charges. Hostel and mess fees are separate and may range between ?1.5–2.5 lakhs per year depending on room type and facilities. Students from different categories such as SC/ST may receive government scholarship benefits according to state or central government policies. UPES also offers merit-based scholarships for students with good CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT scores and strong academic performance. Scholarships can range from 10% to 100% tuition fee waiver depending on eligibility criteria. Some students also avail financial assistance through education loans and merit-cum-need support. The fee structure has slightly increased over recent years due to improved campus facilities, industry collaborations, international exposure programs, and placement activities. Overall, the university offers modern infrastructure, experienced faculty, and decent placement opportunities, making the investment worthwhile for students who actively participate in academics, internships, and skill development activities.
They are very knowledgeable and more aligned to current industry exposure. The faculty members at UPES are experienced, qualified, and supportive. Most professors have strong academic backgrounds along with industry exposure, which helps students understand practical business scenarios. The faculty-to-student ratio is decent, allowing students to interact personally with professors for academic guidance, projects, internships, and placement preparation. Most faculty members are approachable and encourage participation in discussions, presentations, and case-study-based learning. The course curriculum is industry-oriented and regularly updated according to current business and market trends. It includes case studies, presentations, research work, projects, internships, and skill-development activities that help students become industry ready.
In this college there are some faculty member who has great knowledge of books, the HOD of CS department , he is most kind hearted person , he talk with so kindly with everyone. In the CS the course structure is that in first year you have to pay alomst 1.5 Lakh with including addmission fee structure and hostel fee. In this college the exam system be like in every month it will take your surprise test or test and then they will take two mid term exam and a final term means in every semester they will take three exam.
I will give 8 out of 10 for the courses curriculum in terms of relevence and comprehensiveness. For choosing this CSE i was influenced by the HOD of CS department, like the way he has knowledge about the computer is the best. They will prepare you fro the real-world applications or the future acedemic with great knowledge.
For calss of 45 we had 2 senior lecturers and 1 JL for each subject. they are very freindly and supportuve as well . I like the maths Hemanth sir the most he is the top faculty he teaches all the problems in a very simple way using small formulas. the best teacher i have met till date for time he will be my idol the principles he follows he is really good. we used to have every saturday exams and the whole week syallbus we can revise for that weekend exam . Actually that weekend exam used to help us a lot in being consistent in learning all the topics.
Year -wise fee was 120000 The tution fee is 60000, registration fee is 5000, admission fee is 10000, lab fees 2400, and the other charges was around 15000 which includes books and etc The fee of our batchmates was around 140000 for biotechnology We didnt get any scholarships as we are from BC Caste
I would rate the course curriculum as highly relevant and fairly comprehensive because it covers both theoretical concepts and practical applications that are important for academic growth and industry readiness. One of the main factors that influenced my decision to choose this course was the balanced structure of the syllabus, which includes skill-based learning, project work, and exposure to modern tools and technologies. The inclusion of practical sessions, assignments, presentations, and case studies makes the learning process more engaging and meaningful.
My overall experience with campus life at Smt. P. N. Doshi Women's College has been enjoyable, enriching, and full of learning opportunities. The college provides a friendly and supportive atmosphere where students can focus not only on academics but also on personal development, social interaction, and extracurricular involvement. The campus environment encourages students to participate in different activities that help improve confidence, communication skills, leadership qualities, and teamwork.
