There are many events frequently being organized at IIT Guwahati. We have our annual cultural fest called alcheringa which is one of the largest event in this region, it is held in the month of january. Along with it we have the Tech Fest which is Techniche, which is one of the Asia's largest Techno Management Fest.

The tution fees for each semester is 1 lakh rupees and there are other charges along which we have our mess fees which sums up the entire fees for a semester to be approximately 1.4 lakh rupees, there are some charges which are fixed.

We do have annual and technical fest Such as techno and Trithi fest And our college provides us with good facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms classes are held in AC classrooms And the lectures are taken on digital class and there are there are also sports and extra curricular activities And we do have some sports clubs and many other extra curricular clubs which helps us engage in sports and other activities

Multiple events are held throughout the curriculum which includes boths cultural and sports events which are outdoor and indoor. There is a wide range of books and journals available in the library. We have a outdoor event name OLE (Outbound Learning Experience). They have 11 different clubs where students can participate and can develop managerial skills

Multiple companies come from different sectors come to the college campus for internship and placement process. They offer various roles in both general and modern trade. Some companies give stipend and some don't but all of them provide certification on completion of internship

I have a big dream of getting into a good reputed MNC company so I choose to this course.we have a good laboratories good infrastructure that we need for real world applications and good problem solving skills .I suggest that the college need to extend the timings so that we can study hard and get into good MNC .the projectors are getting over heated sometimes.my frequency and timings are matched with the ciruculam.

Yeah the overall experience of over college life is absolutely good .the sports which are conducted by our collage are interested by everyone and are conducted by inter college selections.the extra curricular activities are entirely perfect and we got enjoyed in doing those .there are many facilities in our classrooms like projectors and digital led s ,black board also.

Since my childhood I have a keen interest with how some machineries work, about their gear system and drives. As a result when I got admission here I already had an aim for mechanical engineering. The professors here are very friendly and helpful, they are always ready to give advice and clear our doubts. From time to time they give assignments and homeworks to make our concepts clear. Now for better improvement there could be more smart classes and training of the professors on how to use the smart boards so that they can display us animation and 3d models as mechanical engineering requires lots of visualisation and perspective. So for better understanding of concepts smart classes can be introduced. The exams are held regularly after 2 months of the start of a semester which I think is a good timing and balanced. During examination we also often get gap due to which we are able to complete the syllabus and study well too.

In NERIST the campus life is very good. The campus is very clean. The only problem is the less renovation of hostels and toilets. The boy's hostel is in extremely poor condition many rooms have leaking rooftops during rainy season and some even don't have proper table many furnitures are broken and the bathrooms and toilets don't have proper working bulbs and electric lines. Many technical and cultural fests are organised here semester to semester. For July to December semester cultural fest like RACAF is organised where students get to show their talents in many fields like singing, dancing, drawing, crafting and even Mr. and Ms. competition. During January to June semester there will be two fest sports fest known as Synergy where there will be all sports from indoor games to outdoor games. And the other is Technical fest known as SHRISTI where there will be a test of our knowledge and ideas about engineering.

In semester two exams are conducted mid-semester 30 marks and end-semester 50 marks respectively. All faculties are well qualified. A future application-oriented workshop will be held in a month. Many projects is done by graduate students.

BTech CSE is a very growing area in the tech industry. Our curriculum is very optimally designed to help us perform best in the tech industry One of the drawback is the coding culture is not fully furnished in our university. Frequency of semester exams is not so fair to students as a semester lasts only for 3.5-4 months, like my 1st sem started from 15th October 2022 and now my 4th semester is done by 20th April 2024

Our campus has High radius and cognizant office in it. The students with eligible GPA are able to do internships here. The tution fees is fixed and the total tution fees for a year is Rs 1,42,000. You have to pay seperately for mess as well as hostel rent. Students can also avail various scholarships provided by the state as well as central governments. The tution fee is waived off for SC/ST students as well as for those whose annual income is less tham 2.5Lakhs. Where as for those whose annual income is less than 5 lakh have to pay 1/3rd of the tution fees.

There are two major fests in every academic year.one is technical and other is cultural. Technical fest name is Techriya and name of the cultural fest is Vulcanzy. Some times both are conducted together or technical conducted around November and cultural conducted around february. In library we can find book of every type. From department wise textbooks and reference books to current affairs books, Weekly, monthly and seasonal magazines. Books of model papers and previous papers of competitive exams. In classrooms we have white board, black board and digital board. Most used one is digital board obviously. There is sports club with physical education trainers with ph. D qualification in their respective sport. There are many sports competitions held. Inter Nit - conducted between all the NIT's in India and intramurals conducted between departments of our college in all sports and inter hostel conducted between hostel blocks. There is no increment of tution fee with semester, it remains same and it is 66,000 rupees. For hostel there is change of fee in odd sem and end sem. In odd sem we have to pay 33,000 rupees and in even sem 27,000 rupees, which includes all bills like mess bill, electricity bill, medical bill. Students no need to pay anything other than tution fee and hostel fee. There is fees reimbursement provided for students whose parents annual income is less than 5 lakhs per annum and 1 lakh per annum. That is they pay their full fee in odd sem but money is credited back after verifying your documents. But they have to pay same hostel fee like others. For SC and ST students tution fee is only 2500 rupees and if they are applicable to fees reimbursement then their money will be credited back. Their hostel fee is also 1/3rd of the actual fee. Students generally opt for GATE exm Or go to campus placements. There are also internship opportunities to do but I don't know accurate stipend.

The college itself doesn't give out any internship opportunities. The student has to go out and explore their options to find internships catering to their interests and caliber. The college does provide with projects in the final year

They do provide college placements. It all depends on the student's skill and grade. The highest package goes around 50lpa while the average here is around 4-8lpa. The percentage of students getting placements is pretty good

After 3rd year you can opt for placements in terms of internships or job offers. Being the number 1 IIT in India, it is visited by many multinational companies and the packages are quite good as well. About 80% of the students have got internships and jobs whereas the other percentage usually decides for higher studies.

It has state of the art infrastructure and considering it is the top IIT in India , it has one of the best library network. The amount of annual and technical fests, clubs and activities that happen here are quite a lot and they really affect the student life in a positive manner.

I would rate the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness that you have too work hard for this course This course must include some new chapters which is updated The exams are held yearly and every year the difficulty level increases

The fee structure of this University is low. There is the ability of scholarship for all the children. There is no campus employment provided at this University. The tuition fee for this course is 1200 a year. The tuition fee is low.

My fee is 100000 in this college and all total fee need to be paid in time at the starting of academic year or else the college management does not allow us to appear for the examination we have additional fee for crt training

The curriculum is really well planned and the syllabus is completed on time. The college management designed it very well that they perform different activities to explain the students in a better way
