DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Almost all the tech giants visit our college for placements. And for my department, the average package was 23-24 lakhs ctc the highest package offered was 1.05 crore by amazon Ireland. From our department, 98 percent of students were placed.

We become eligible for placements in the 6th/7th semester. Around 400+ students from the entire college got an offer of 20Lpa and above in the recent placement season. 90%+ students get placed. My plan is a bit uncertain but I am inclined towards civil services.

From the fifth semester onwards students are eligible for on-campus placements and companies like Google, Microsoft, Expedia, visa and many others good companies recruit students from here and highest package - is 51 lakh and the lowest was 4 LPA

The students are eligible for campus placement in the pre-final year and final year. some popular companies like Apple, google, amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Samsung, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and many more visit every year and the number of offers varies from the program chosed. the highest package in DTU during recent years is 1.02 crore per annum. while the average package is approximately 10 lakhs per annum. the placement percentage of it is very high with 90% of students placed every year.

In 7th semester students are eligible for placement drives and they should meet the minimum requirements of companies they want to apply for like 7-8 CGPA, followed by written test and interview round. Many big companies like apple, Facebook, Google to non tech companies over 350 companies come and total offers last year were approx 2300. With the highest package of 1.02 crore and the average package of 15.61 lakh percentage of students getting placed is about 97%.

So many companies around the world come to the college for placement. There are so many types of placements and most of them are good. Last year Google gave 1.27cr to a student and Amazon in India gave around 67LPA and Amazon international gave 1.1cr. I apply for Google after in my college time.

I chose this course as Computer Science is the best branch currently and the placement has been really good in the past few years. Some faculties are highly qualified whereas some just hate students and we can do nothing about it, but in the end, We have to study ourselves so it doesn't really matter.

I choose this course because I was interested in physics. The student-faculty ratio is good, and most of the faculty members have Ph.D. degrees. The teaching method is not so good depending upon the teachers, some are very dedicated and some of them try to just complete the syllabus. Term exams occur once in about 2-3 months and the difficulty level is moderate to tough.

The placement scenario at our college is at par with popular IITs/NITs. Nearly 400 companies visit our campus every year and they make around 1500 offers. The highest domestic package stands at 64 LPA while the average package is 12 LPA.

3rd-year semester 2 are eligible for placements. The highest package is 1.4 crores international and 70 lacs domestic. Almost all companies visit here, like Faang, Microsoft, tata, consultancy, Qualcomm, Paytm, etc.
