DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement at DTU is really great, it comes just after the top 4-5 legacy iit's and is better than the rest 17-18 iits. Majorly most of the students get placed, generally, only those who don't take a job and want to pursue higher education like MBA/M Tech. The placement percentage is 95%. I would like to do a startup after my degree and become an entrepreneur.

After 4th semester, I think the students are eligible for internships and placements. Apple, Samsung, google, and amazon all big companies visit the campus and provide good offers. You have to keep yourself prepared and score well to be able to get there. The highest package in my knowledge is about 1.4 crores and the average package is around 20lpa. In case, I think 90% of students were placed last year. I want to work at Apple so I think I have to work extra hard because Apple only provides 3 offers here.

The course curriculum of dtu is good and faculty members are also very experienced and mastered in their specialization. Most of the faculty members studied from IIts and have good experience in teaching. The exams are always on time and there is also checking for exam which is very tight.

Usually, you can sit for placement in the 4th year but you can grab a PPO in 3 Rd year during internships. Roughly 200 companies visit our campus including faang companies and all major MNCs offering packages above 50lpa. Over 1500 offers are made . Almost all students get placed. The highest package goes around 1.2 cr. Around 5-6, students get this and the lowest is around 6lpa. The average package is around 12 LPA. For the tech branch, it's around 16 LPA. So if are doing good don't worry about placements. If you don't want to sit for the placement you can go for higher education. Recently startup culture is also developing in our college. Many societies are focusing on it.

Placements generally start from the seventh semester and more than 50 companies offer jobs to all students. These placements vary from top companies offering crore package to mass recruiters. Almost everyone who sits in placement does get the job

Placements in Dtu is pretty much comparable to iit's it has an average package of 15 lpa from all branches and if you are in top branches average is about 23lpa-16lpa and companies visiting colleges for placements are also increasing every year most of the students in college go for placements so you can get a good mentorship and it has a highest package above 1 crore around 1.8 CPA.

From 7-semester students become eligible for campus placements as the company starts visiting the college from the 7 semesters as your fourth year starts. There are a number of companies which visits college and provide a very well amount of Stipend and package to the students some of the rules which are being provided is software engineer mechanical engineer, civil Engineer, electrical engineer, consultant, analyst roles, marketing roles, human resource and many more The companies which higher students are Google Microsoft Facebook Amazon Paytm uber bane BCG PWC, KPMG, Zomato Blackrock etc. The highest package offered was 1.2 CR to the computer science student by the trading firm and they average packages around 15 to 17 lacs per year for the software roles and 9 to 11 lakhs per year for the non-tech and core roles. Last year around 90% of students got placement. My plan is to get a good job role and a good package via any MNC.

Dtu has one of the best placement stats across all of India with the highest package-providing company. And for computer science, there are huge internship and placement opportunities. Last year about 96 per cent of students had been placed across all streams with a decent package and the highest package was 1.8 crore last year.

For placement, you should be in 4 years but can start an internship in 3 years. Many companies come and no of offers are always greater than the number of students. The highest placement is around 2 Cr and avg is around 15 L. Almost all the students get placed and the rest goes for further studies. I want to get a decent job after my degree.

Around 400+ companies visit our campus: Only students from 6-8 semesters are eligible for this.
