VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this course because I have an interest in the mechanical field. Faculties are very good and not like other colleges they gave their max. for student. If you have doubt then you can communicate to Faculty at any times Qualifications of faculty is very good all are Ph.D. and also study in IITs and based on their experience VIT has given grade to each member. Term exam is at five months and it's not so much complicated if you study well in class.

Placement statistics are very good for the university. Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester with very good opportunities from the leading recruits in the field. Placement percentage of the college 80 with an average salary of 6.05 Lakhs in 2019-20. The highest salary package was offered by Microsoft( CTC - 41.60 Lakhs) following Work India ( 40 Lakhs) . Other major recruits are- TCS, Infosys, Deollite, J.P Morgan, Samsung, HCL, Google, IBM, NPCL, Mahindra, TATA, Swiggy, Amazon, and many more. But still, there is a need to improve placement opportunities for branches like Civil, Chemical, Electrical and upto some extent for Mechanical. Total 713 companies visited the campus for placements and a total of 7771 job offers were given by them. My plans after getting the degree are to get a good job in core companies.

From 3rd year students start getting placements. Mahindra, Ashok Leyland and many more are the companies visit the campus and they give very good packages around 20 lakhs to student this data is for mechanical engineering. In VIT you will get picked as there are mass recruiters that pick you up. So It's better to do M.Tech. if you are not getting placed in your dream company. VIT provides around 80-90% of placements rest of the students join their own family business and the rest go to do their masters. My plan after getting a degree is to do a master so as to get more salary.

In our colleges 90% of placements are there. And 300+ recruiters are visit in our college and highest for B tech in computer and data science is 36 lac. And avg pakages is 8 -9 lac. Per annum if you want m tech also provide by our colleges

VIT has totally versatile Credit System(FFCS). It permits students to settle on from the offered subjects. throughout the allotment time for a particular set of students, a link is going to be opened with their student ID and password. Where an inventory of courses offered will be displayed. reckoning on the interest of the scholar he will choose any subject offered as per his wish(given that he/she has completed the requirement or there's no prerequisite).when the student registers for a specific subject, it shows the list of school teaching the topic and range of seats obtainable beneath every one of them. The students can register as per the provision of the college and subject. A minimum range of courses creating sixteen credits got to be taken and subjects shouldn't exceed the most limit of twenty-seven credits.

From the 5th semester companies start coming for internships and from the 7th semester, the company comes for jobs. Every company gives a handsome stipend and salary and everyone gets equal opportunities for applying and mostly students get placed with a package above 6LPA. About 150+ companies visited in the 5th semester which offer stipends above 40,000/- and CTC above 10LPA. The highest package offered in the year 2020 is 75LPA from an MNC and 25LPA from amazon and other big firms. Every student was trained well from the 5th semester for company interview rounds which made it easier to get placed with the right guidance.

3rd sem students are provided with internships. Many companies like Microsoft, dshaw,etc with offers of 1 lkm were made. Highest 2lkm and avg around 50000. 90% Startup or getting placed in a good tech company.

BTech ECE is a 4-year program zeroed in on innovations in basic regions like media communications, power and gadgets while advancing the improvement of the abilities needed to join equipment and programming parts. It is sought after by understudies that have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as primary subjects. And the companies provide very good placement for computer science and information technologies branch.Almost 90% of students getting placed in IT companies and some of the students are opting for higher degree studies.. And the students get very good opportunities for foreign studies..

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester itself. There were more than 100 companies and more than 700 offers were made. Infosys and TCS were the mass recruiters among them. The highest package was 44lpa and the average would be 5-6lpa. All the students who appeared for placements were placed.
