Rajasthan MBBS Admission 2025 is based on the NEET scores of candidates. After the release of NEET result, candidate can apply for the Rajasthan MBBS counselling. The process is conducted by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS).

NEET 2025 exam will be conducted on May 4, 2025. NTA will release the NEET result on June 14, 2025. The Rajasthan NEET Counselling will be done for the 3482 MBBS  seats in the government and private colleges.

Rajasthan MBBS Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • The Candidate must have passed the 10+2 Standard Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually with a minimum aggregate of 50% in the class 12th qualifying examination.
    • The physically disabled candidates from the General category are required to score 45% marks in Class 12 Board exams, whereas candidates with physical disabilities from the Reserved categories will be required to score a minimum aggregate of 40%.
    • For admission in MBBS/BDS in Rajasthan, the candidate must secure the minimum NEET cut-off percentile.
  • Rules for Native/ Domicile Holders:
    • The Candidates who wish to take admission under the 85% state quota during need to fulfill the state MBBS requirements. 
    • The candidate’s father/Mother should have continuously resided in Rajasthan for a period of last 10 years and the candidate has studied for at least 5 years during this period in a recognized educational institution in Rajasthan.
    • Bonafide Rajasthan candidates studying in other states are also eligible.  
  • Age Limit
    • The candidates seeking admission to the medical colleges in Rajasthan must fulfil the age criteria set by the authority: 
    • Minimum 17 years on or before December 31, 2025

Rajasthan MBBS Admission 2025: Application Procedure

  • The mode of filling out the application form is completely online. The students need to pay the application fees in online mode only.
  • The Candidates need to enter the personal, academic, NEET 2025 score, and other details required to register themselves for the Rajasthan MBBS application form 2025. The authority will release the merit list and it will be followed by document verification, choices filling, and seat allotment procedure.
  • The Candidates will be required to submit the printed copy of the application form at the time of reporting to the allotted college failing which their candidature shall be rejected / they will be disqualified without any further correspondence.
  • They have to pay the application fee to successfully submit the application form.

 Other than the application fees, candidates also have to submit a security deposit for admission to MBBS courses. The security deposit is as follows.

Rajasthan MBBS Admission 2025: Counselling Process and Merit List

The candidates whose names are enlisted in the merit list will be called for the Rajasthan MBBS counselling process. The Merit List will be prepared per the minimum percentile obtained in the NEET 2025 in all categories and the order of choices/ options entered by the candidates in the online form.

  • There are three rounds of the NEET Counselling process for Rajasthan MBBS admissions. The candidates need to freshly apply for every round of counselling and have to give their colleges and course preferences.
  • If the candidate is not satisfied with the seats that he/she has been offered in the initial counselling rounds, they can apply for further rounds. However, in this case, their previously allocated seats will be cancelled. 
  • The availability of seats, the choices made, and the state merit rank in NEET 2025 will be considered for granting the Rajasthan MBBS admission.
  • Once the seats are allocated, the candidates are required to report at the designated college within the specified dates and timings with the proper documents.

Rajasthan MBBS Admission 2025: Reservation

  • As per the government’s rules, 15% of the seats in government colleges will be reserved for MBBS courses under Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2025 on an All-India basis. 24 seats, 4 in each State Medical College (6 Govt. colleges) of Rajasthan MBBS Course will be reserved for candidates selected under the Central Government pool. The Central Government Authority will fill up these seats.
  • Rest 85% of seats come under state quota that will be filled up on merit cum preference in Rajasthan MBBS Admissions 2025 with reservations for various categories as tabulated below:

Ans. The mode of application for Rajasthan MBBS admissions is Online. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply for admission before the due date.

Ques. When will the registrations for the counselling process under Rajasthan MBBS 2025 admission begin?

Ans. The Counselling process for admission to medical colleges will start on July 2025. 

Ques. What is the application fee for Rajasthan MBBS admission 2025?

Ans. The Candidates belonging to the General/unreserved category have to pay INR 2000 and the reserved(SC, ST, ST-STA) categories are required to pay INR 1200 for Rajasthan MBBS Admission 2025.

Ques. What is the minimum age requirement to apply for this?

Ans. NTA has scrapped the maximum age limit to appear for the NEET exam. However, candidates must be at least 17 years old to apply for Rajasthan MBBS Admission.

Ans. yes, AIIMS Delhi students do get opportunities to go to US/UK during MBBS — but the reality is a bit more complicated than it sounds. ICMR research grants: if you do solid research and get it approved by ICMR, the trip is fully funded. this is the best route. but you need actual research output, not just applying randomly Self-funded electives: Oxford, Hopkins, Harvard all have elective programs open to AIIMS students. most students who go this route pay out of pocket. AIIMS administration actually discourages it since it means missing classes, but students manage it during vacations or by getting internship extended later Formal exchange programs: AIIMS has MoUs with Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Yale, Oxford. spots are limited and selection is competitive — academic performance and research experience matter a lot real talk — most AIIMS students are genuinely too busy during MBBS to go abroad. the ones who do are usually research-oriented or from very well-off families who can self-fund. if you're planning post-MBBS though, AIIMS is a great launchpad for USMLE (US medical licensing) and UK PLAB prep — the brand carries serious weight internationally.Read more

Ans. No, Christians are not the only ones allowed at CMC Vellore for MBBS. This is one of the most common misconceptions about the college. CMC Vellore does have a unique admission system, but it's not exclusively for Christians: Christian sponsored seats: ~53-55% of MBBS seats are reserved for Christian candidates sponsored by registered church bodies/Christian organisations. These candidates need a church sponsorship letter. Open/All India seats: The remaining ~45-47% seats are open to candidates of all religions via NEET merit.
