Haryana MBBS Admission is conducted by Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. It is mandatory for candidates to physically be present for Document Verification at the Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma UHSR. 

Haryana NEET Counselling takes place based on a candidate’s NEET Results. The Haryana MBBS counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana.

NEET 2025 will be conducted on May 4, 2025 and the result will be released by the NTA on June 14, 2025. MBBS is a 5.5 year undergraduate course, training students to become medical doctors.

Haryana MBBS Admission 2025: Eligibility

  • Candidates must pass the 10+2 examination with Biology/Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, and English as core subjects.
  • They must pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50% for the General and 40% for the reserved category.
  • To qualify for NEET 2025, students must secure the minimum qualifying percentile. For applicants belonging to the general category, the qualifying percentile is 50, while for SC/ST/OBC and PWD aspirants, it is 40 and 45, respectively.
  • Candidates must be Indian citizens or a domicile of Haryana.
  • Candidates from all over India are eligible for the management category. 

Haryana MBBS Admission Form 2025

DMER releases the Haryana MBBS 2025 application form. The mode of filling out the application form for Haryana MBBS is online only. Applicants can refer to the following general steps to process the application form for Haryana MBBS admission.

  • Registration on the official website.
  • Creating a unique login credential for further application form filling and processes. 
  • Filling application form and uploading photographs/documents in the prescribed format.
  • Verification of the details and paying the application fee in an online mode

Application fee for Haryana MBBS Admission 2025

The registration cum counselling fee for Haryana MBBS admission is based on the candidate’s category. The fee is non-refundable and shall be as follows.

Note:

  • Candidates participating in the round 2 counselling and wishing to opt for state quota seats in government or government-aided medical institutes are required to pay INR 10,000 as a fee. SC, BC, EWS and PwD candidates willing to do the same will have to pay INR 5,000. The payment is done through online mode only. 
  • If candidates want to opt for state quota seats in government as well as state quota seats/management quota seats in private institutes, then they will have to deposit INR 1,00,000 through online mode. Without the amount deposition, they will not be eligible for participating in round 2/subsequent counselling rounds. The amount will be later adjusted in the MBBS 1st year fee or refunded in case of no seat allotment. For candidates who were alloted seats in the second round but did not join, their submitted fees will stand forfeited. They can still apply for round 3/mop-up round.
  • All Private medical institutes including those under private universities will charge a processing fee for counselling of INR 2,000 per sanctioned intake of seats.

Haryana MBBS Admission 2025: Counselling Process

  • The counselling for NEET 85% state quota is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research. 
  • The counselling takes place in two rounds for MBBS admission. The candidates are shortlisted according to their scores of NEET and their preferences.
  • The Directorate General of Health Services also conducts counselling on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for 15% of All India Quota seats. 

There are five steps for DMER counselling, they are:-

  • Registration -The candidates must register themselves for the online counselling.
  • Documents Verification - All the documents of the candidates are verified by the authority.
  • Choice Filling - The candidates are then allowed to fill in their choices and preferences.
  • Allotment - Then seats are allotted to the candidates in their respective chosen institutes.
  • Report to the Institute - The last step is reporting to the allocated college to complete admission.

ICMR research grants: if you do solid research and get it approved by ICMR, the trip is fully funded. this is the best route. but you need actual research output, not just applying randomly Self-funded electives: Oxford, Hopkins, Harvard all have elective programs open to AIIMS students. most students who go this route pay out of pocket.
