KCET: Karnataka Common Entrance Test is conducted for providing admission to various undergraduate course including B.Tech. The application form is available only through online mode. The test contains 3 papers o Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or 60 MCQ questions each for duration of 80 minutes.

Ans. Many students claim that IIIT Vadodara is not a good option. And here are some of the facts that explain the reason. It is important to do BTech in branches like CSE or IT from a well reputed college as the recruiters value the degree only if it is from a well reputed institution. IIIT Vadodara was started back in the year 2013 and no infrastructure work has been started for the actual campus in Vadodara. Since the past few years, the institute had PDPU high rise as the hostel which was very good, it had big rooms with attach bathrooms. But this contract ended in the year 2019 and thus the new hostel has been displaced at Sabar institute of technology which is located in a completely remote area. You will miss out the enjoyment part of your college. Sabar institute of technology is 31kms away from the college. It takes around 50 minutes to travel by the bus provided by the college to reach there. This process is stressful. The class hour is from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The students can’t attend any thing irrespective of their college hour as the college is in a remote area and there is no means of transportation. There is not even cab facility available in that area. Even for travelling to railway station and airport, the means of transportation is very hard to find.
