B.Tech. Electronics and Media Technology is a 4 years graduation program. It is a technical program dealing with the concepts of electronics and fast emerging new media technologies. Basic eligibility asked for this course is 10+2 with minimum 50% in aggregate. Tuition fees for the course is between 30,000INR to 40,000 INR per semester.
As it is a technical course, so it is important for students to get technical experience during the course term and to facilitate that colleges and universities include 2 weeks industrial training in the last year of the course.
With the completion of this course one can get hired by many companies such as Wipro, HCL Technologies, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon, and Flipkart and in these companies a graduate can work as service engineer, software analyst, technical director, social media strategist, sales executive, digital marketing executive and visual communication designer. In these private ventures one can expect to get a starting annual package of 2 lakhs to 3 lakhs.

Duration of this undergraduate full-time course in Karunya School Of Electrical Sciences, Coimbatore is 4 years, which are divided as 8 semesters. Every semester lasts for 6 months.
After the successful completion of graduation degree a student has the option of doing a 5 year integrated M.Sc. in Visual communications or M.Phil. /Ph.D. There are many institutes facilitating M.Phil. /Ph.D. in Engineeringfrom which one can choose accordingly.
In India, there are no. of technical institutes offering B.Tech. Degree in various streams. However, if one is interested particularly in Electronics and Media Technology, then the course is available only in one university in India and that is in the Department of Electronics and Media Technology of Karunya University, Coimbatore.
Admission in Karunya University in B.Tech. Electronics and Media Technology is done through Karunya Entrance Exam (KEE). Admission is given on the basis of ranks secured by students in KEE and Single Window Counseling thereafter.
KEE 2019 isc on 23rd April which will be conducted in more than 55 centres across India. It is a 2:30 hours paper which will be in English language only.
KEE is an objective type paper that is based on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, General aptitude and General Ethics.
With increasing demand for media technology engineers big companies pay smartly to hire graduates and deserving candidates to work for them.
