What is BTech Food Science?

BTech Food Science or Bachelor of Technology in Food Science is an undergraduate program in Food Technology of 4-year duration which is divided into eight semesters, two semesters per year. Food Science is the study of the nature of foods and the changes that occur in the foods naturally and as a result of handling and processing. Some of the subjects covered in this course are Food Microbiology, Food Chemistry and Nutrition, Dairy Technology, Introduction to Food Science, Biochemistry etc.
