B.Tech Naval Architecture and Ship Building Eligibility Criteria

Students aspiring for naval engineering have to take up bachelors in technology for which they have to qualify their 10+2 with science stream (physics mathematics and chemistry as a must). Those candidates who qualifies B. Tech from an ABET recognized institute are applicable to take up fundamental of engineering exam. This exam is for qualifying as a licensure for professional engineer.

Fundamental of engineering exam is an MCQ based 8-hour examination. Most of the aspirants complete it by their graduation. After completing their course students can seek jobs in government and private organizations. Students also have to seek for a licensure which is different in different states so they have to take care of their respective state qualifications.

The naval engineers who have qualified their education are eligible to take NCEES principle and practicing of engineering exam. The questions generally which are asked constitutes basic engineering marine engineering and naval architecture. With experience and proper licensure, a student is appt for applying as managerial or as a supervisor in the field.
