Bachelor of Technology (Printing Technology) is a 4 years undergraduate course which deals with printing press operations, design and creation. At present, printing technology is non-impact and mostly makes use of computers. It is divided into a total 8 semesters i.e. 2 semesters per year and each semester takes 6 months for completion. An individual has to prepare for both practical and theory exams that are held at the end of each year. Printing Technology is the combination of various skills such as scientific, technical & artistic. It is a part of the mass communication process which involves various skills such as technical skills hold prime importance.

It is often carried out as a large-scale industrial process and is an essential part of publishing and transaction printing.
