Mechatronics engineering is a field which consists of a combination of computer, electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering that serves the purpose of controlling advanced hybrid systems. Mechatronics Engineers maintain, manage, design and develop engineering systems.

The course design of Mechatronics Courses is such a way that Diploma in Mechatronics is a 3 year course inclusive of 6 semesters, BTech Mechatronics which is a 4 year undergraduate course containing 8 semesters along with a few electives and lastly, MTech Mechatronics which is a 2-year long postgraduate course comprising of 4 semesters and electives.
