Absolute Humidity is a measure of the actual amount of water vapor or moisture present in the air, regardless of the temperature of the air. It is expressed as grams of water vapor per cubic meter volume of air (g/m3). The higher the amount of water vapor in the air, the higher the absolute humidity would be. The maximum absolute humidity of warm air at 30°C or 86°F is approximately 30 g of water vapor, i.e. 30g/m3. On the other hand, the maximum absolute humidity of cold air at 0°C or 32°F is approximately 5g of water vapor, i.e. 5g/m3. Humidity refers to the amount or concentration of water vapor present in the air. Humidity is one of the factors that affect the changes in the weather and climate.

- Calculate vapor pressure in millibars using the dewpoint temperature and formula number.
- Multiply the vapor pressure in millibars by 100 to get Pa.
- Once the vapor pressure is obtained in Pa, the gas law can be used to measure water vapor density or absolute humidity) by substituting Rw for R in the gas law formula and using the vapor pressure instead of the total atmospheric pressure used to calculate the density of air.
