AILET 2020 application has been further extended till August 10, 2020, along with the provision for withdrawal of forms. Candidates who do not wish to appear for the exam due to pandemic can cancel their candidature on or before August 10, 2020. No further request for withdrawal will be accepted. Aspirants seeking admission to various law courses can fill the application form by paying a fee of INR 3050 for General/OBC candidates and INR 1050 for SC/ ST/ PWD. As per now, there is no provision for editing the AILET Application form after final submission. Registration contains three steps namely:

Prior to starting the application process for AILET 2020, following documents are to be kept ready:
The first step towards AILET registration is to visit the official website of NLU Delhi i.e. nludelhi.ac.in. In order to Register for AILET 2020 candidates need to create a login account by providing the basic information such as contact number, email ID, name, parents’ name, address and date of birth.
After filling the AILET Application form, Confirmation of Registration is necessary to move onto the next step i.e Application Locker
AILET is conducted for undergraduate, postgraduate and reserach level courses, thus it is imperative for candidates to select the course they wish to apply for. A drop down menu indicates the courses- B.A L.L.B. (Hons), LLM and PhD. Candidates can move to the next step for filling the application form after selecting the desired course.
In order to complete the application process of NLU admissions, candidates need to fill the form with following details:

Next step to follow is scanning and uploading photograph and signature of the candidate as per the guidelines. A brief on the required specification is as follows:

The final step towards completing the AILET 2020 application form is to submit the application fees. There are two available modes of payment: offline and online.
Online Mode- Candidates should opt for ‘Online Payment Gateway’ if payment is to be done via Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking. If transaction is done via Credit Card/Debit Card, then you have to give details like Card number, CVV no., Expiry Date and Pin number.
In case payment is done by Net banking, then a redirected bank's site is shown where account details of the candidate are confirmed and the payment is accepted. After the process of payment is complete, the candidate will receive an acknowledgment slip on the registered Email ID. Take a print- out of this acknowledgment slip and keep it with you.
Offline Mode- Application fee can also be paid in offline mode by selecting ‘Cash Deposit at Post’. Nearest post office branch and city is to be selected and a challan will be generated. Within 48 hours of challan generation candidates are required to fee at the selected branch.
One part of the deposit slip will be kept by post office for records and other will be returned to the candidate. Do not forget to collect the slip.When the fees is paid, fee submission status will be updated within 72 hours.
The application fee for AILET can be remitted through online or offline mode. Any candidate who fails to pay the requisite amount will be ineligble to sit for the exam. Here is the category-wise application fee for AILET:

Ques. Is there any provision for AILET Application Form Correction?
Ans. No, NLU Delhi does not provide the option for application form correction. Once submitted, the application form will be considered final. Thus, we suggest you fill all the details carefully. Also, make sure they are true and correct.
Ques. I am still appearing in my class XII exams. Am I eligible to apply for BA LLB (Hons.)?
Ans. Yes, you are eligible to apply in BA LLB (Hons.) course.
Ques. Can I avail AILET Application Form from offline mode?
Ans. No, there is no provision to avail the application form from any offline source. The registration for AILET is completely online.
Ques. How will I get to know my AILET application form status?
Ans. You will receive a unique ID after making payment and successful submission of registration form on your registered mail id. Those who submit offline registration form with demand draft will also receive the unique ID on their registered mail id.
Ques. I am unable to access the Online application. Can you send the application form by email or post?
Ans. Yes. The application cannot be sent by email/post. If you get any specific error while applying, please send an email to University.

Ques. Is there any reservation of seats in AILET?
Ans. Yes, 15% of total seats are reserved for SC candidates, 7.5% of total are reserved for ST and 3% for person with disabilities. One seat will be reserved for Kashmiri Migrants. 10 seats are reserved for foreign nationals. Also, foreign national applicants are exempted from taking AILET exam. Check AILET Reservation Criteria
Ques. What is the admission procedure for foreign nations?
Ans. There are five seats allotted to foreign national candidates possessing the citizenship of a country other than India. The foreign nationals are exempted from taking the admission test. Vacant seats under the foreign national category shall be filled from the general category candidates in order of merit.
Ques. What is AILET and for which courses it is applied for?
Ans. AILET is conducted for admission to the National Law University, Delhi exclusively. Students who crack AILET are eligible to pursue B.A. L.L.B (Hons), L.L.M and Ph.D Degree Programs on a merit base. There are 80 seats in B.A. L.L.B course, 20 in L.L.M and Ph.D seats usually do not exceed over 10.

Ques. Do I need to fill the entire AILET application form at once?
Ans. No, it is not necessary to fill the AILET application form 2020 at once. Candidates can save the entered application data and log in to their AILET accounts later to complete the form.
