AILET 2020 OMR SHEET AND ANSWER KEY
NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
AILET Answer Key will be released by National Law University (NLU), Delhi after the examination concludes. This year, AILET 2020 is scheduled for May 3 in offline (pen-paper based) mode. Program wise Question Booklet (B.A.LLB, LLM & PhD) along with Answer Key will be published on the official portal nludelhi.ac.in.
Latest: AILET Application Form has been released on January 15 and will be available till Aptil 8, 2020.
A provisional answer key will be made available before the final answer key and AILET Results are declared. Canddates have the opprtunity to raise objections for their respective program by sending a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Test takers of AILET 2020, need to follow the steps mentioned below to download the responses:
Step 1: Visit the official portal of AILET i.e. nludelhi.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the official link ‘AILET 2020 Answer Key’.
Step 3: A new pdf will open with the option.
Step 4: Click ‘Download’ for the pdf file and keep save a copy of the answer key.
Step 5: Verify your answers marked in AILET Paper.
Step 6: After verification, in case of any objections against the doubtful questions in AILET Answer Key, candidates can report the same.
Before releasing the final answer key of AILET, the regulating body i.e. NLU Delhi will release the provisional answer key of the law entrance exam. With the help of these keys, candidates will be able to cross-check their answers marked in the law examination. The purpose of releasing the provisional key is to give candidates an opportunity to look for the discrepancies and send their objections.
Candidates having objections regarding the provisional answer key, can raise objections by sending to National University of Law, Delhi email address. Though mentioning name of the program and serial number of the question is mandatory in the mail. Along with suggested answer and valid reference to the same.
Exam conducting body will examine the objection and suggestion recieved and release final Answer key after that. Objections raised before Final answer key is out only will be entertained.

After the authorities receive the objections on the provisional answer keys, the university will review and rectify the objections and then release the final answer key of AILET. With the final answer key, candidates would be able to estimate their marks and scores to be obtained in the law examination.

AILET question paper will be divided into various sections. For LLB courses, it is divided into 5 sections: English, General knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning and Mathematics. The time duration of this exam will be 90 minutes. The following table will get you the idea about the break-up of question paper-
For LLM course, It is divided into 2 sections. In one section 100 questions will be asked to test your legal aptitude and 1 question will be in written form where you will have to write an essay.
For PhD course, you will have to submit a research-based report on the subject you want to do PhD.

AILET 2020 exam will be conducted in sets A, B, C and D and AILET Answer Key will also be provided accordingly for the respective sets for all students. The aspirants of AILET can go through the previous years’ AILET Paper Analysis to get a view of the difficulty level of the examination, important topics, the number of questions from each section and so on.
Candidates reaction to this particular section depends on their level of ease with English language. However a unanimous voice stated the section to be lengthy.

An attempt of 30 Questions was considered good, though the pattern of the section was not like previous years. Score of 22+ was considered safe.
Question (Around 33) revolved around current news and developments. So if candidates were well aware of the happenings this section was not a quite approachable. Certain questions demanded clarity in concepts, specially in static subjects.

Legal question in AILET are generally lengthy and exhaustive. 2019 Legal Aptitude section was difficult as such. Ideal score for this section was ranged between 18-20.
Emphasis was laid on verbal reasoning with just one puzzle question on ‘ Selection based on Logical Connectives’. Questions on Syllogism, Cause and Effect, Critical Reasoning dominated the section. There were 8 singlets from Analytical Reasoning (easy) along with 5 Critical Reasoning chapter.

THis section was considered comparitively easy in 2019. Some questions on Average, Profit-Loss, Pipes and Cisterns were lengthy. Airthmetics dominated the section with 7 out of 10 questions. Problems on Number System, Venn Diagram, Time, Speed Distance and Mensuration were not difficult to attempt.
A good practice would have easily led to attempt of 5-7 questions. Candidates often skip the maths portion but seeing the level of questions, this section definitely helped those who attempted it.
